missing Ring, encounter with Mike

The next morning, Nikky awoke with a sense of urgency. Sunny had arrived early, and together they prepared for their outing.

"Mom, Dad, I'm going out with Sunny," Nikky announced, trying to mask her anxiety.

"Alright, dear. Take care of yourself," Mrs. Shone replied with a hint of concern in her voice.

"Bye, Mom. Bye, Dad," Nikky said softly as they walked towards the exit.

They hailed a cab and made their way to a local blacksmith store where Nikky hoped to inquire about the diamond ring Granny had given her.

"Hello, sir," Nikky greeted the blacksmith as they entered.

"Hello, what can I do for you, ma'am?" the blacksmith asked, his demeanor businesslike.

"I have a diamond ring that I need to inquire about," Nikky said, reaching into her bag. Unbeknownst to her, the ring slipped from her grasp and fell to the floor. She frantically searched her bag, growing more anxious by the second.

"Please leave if you have nothing to show me," the blacksmith said impatiently, his tone growing curt.

Just as Nikky spotted the ring on the floor, relief washed over her. Before she could retrieve it, another man picked it up.

"Hey! That's mine," Nikky exclaimed, moving to snatch it back.

"No, it's mine now," the man retorted, dodging her grasp and making a dash for the exit. Nikky and Sunny chased after him, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.

"Give it back! You thief!" Nikky yelled, her voice echoing through the store as they sprinted after him.

Outside, the thief collided with Mike, who was walking along the street wearing sleek sunglasses and a face mask. Sunny continued the pursuit while Mike, caught off guard by the collision, stumbled into Nikky, accidentally touching her inappropriately in her butt.

Nikky recoiled in shock, her eyes widening as she shoved Mike away and instinctively lashed out. "How dare you touch me like that, you pervert!" she shouted, her voice filled with righteous anger.

"I'm calling the police," Nikky declared, whipping out her phone and dialing the emergency number.

Witnessing the commotion, a group of Mike's fans approached, recognizing him immediately.

"Isn't that Mike?" one of the girls whispered to her friends.

"It does look like him," another replied, eyeing the scene with curiosity.

"We can't let our idol be harassed like this," the leader declared with determination.

"Let's defend him!" the girls chorused, rushing towards Nikky and surrounding her.

Amidst the chaos, the police arrived, swiftly intervening to restore order. They helped Mike to his feet and turned their attention to the unfolding situation.

"What happened here?" one of the officers inquired, trying to make sense of the conflicting accounts.

"I was assaulted by this woman," Mike asserted, his voice tinged with indignation as he pointed accusingly at Nikky.

"I was the one who called you," Nikky interjected, her voice trembling with frustration. "He touched me inappropriately."

"Ma'am, do you know who he is?" the officer asked calmly.

"I don't care who he is! He's a pervert and should be arrested!" Nikky insisted, her voice cracking with emotion.

"Ma'am, you're under arrest for public assault," the officer informed Nikky, moving to handcuff her.

"What about him?" Nikky protested, gesturing towards Mike.

"He will be questioned, but you are being taken into custody for assaulting him," the officer explained firmly, escorting Nikky towards the police van.

"This is unfair! You're all blind!" Nikky shouted, struggling against the officers' firm grip as they led her away.

Inside the police van, Nikky seethed with anger and frustration. Alone in the cramped space, she paced back and forth, her mind racing with thoughts of injustice and betrayal.

"Who does that guy think he is? Acting like he's above the law," Nikky muttered bitterly to herself, her voice echoing off the walls.

Moments later, footsteps approached her cell, and Nikky looked up hopefully, thinking someone had come to release her.

"Are you here to let me out?" Nikky asked eagerly, her voice tinged with desperation.

To her dismay, it was Mike who stood before her, his expression filled with anger and accusation.

"You!" Nikky exclaimed, her eyes narrowing as she backed away instinctively.

"Do you think you're getting out of here?" Mike retorted, his voice cold and calculated.

Nikky's heart sank, a mixture of fear and defiance bubbling within her. "You deserve every bit of what happened," she spat, her voice trembling with suppressed rage.

"I tried to help you, and this is how you repay me?" Mike shot back, his tone laced with bitterness.

"You call that helping? Or were you just trying to take advantage of me?" Nikky countered, her voice rising with each word.

Frustrated, Mike turned to leave, but then wheeled around to face her again. "You're not even my type," he sneered, his words dripping with disdain.

"That's perfectly fine with me," Nikky retorted defiantly. "Because you're definitely not mine either."

Their exchange grew heated, the tension between them palpable in the confined space of the cell.

"You think you're invincible, don't you?" Nikky challenged, her voice tinged with sarcasm. "But you'll see, I'll make sure justice is served. No one is above the law."

Mike chuckled darkly. "You're a brave woman, I'll give you that. But you've just made the biggest mistake of your life."

As he turned to leave, Nikky couldn't hold back her anger. "You're deluded if you think I'll let you get away with this," she shouted after him, her voice echoing down the corridor.

Alone once more, Nikky sank to the floor, her emotions in turmoil. She wiped away tears of frustration and anger, feeling the weight of injustice bearing down on her.

Minutes passed, and Nikky's thoughts raced. Sunny's visit brought a flicker of hope, but it was quickly extinguished by the reality of her situation.

"Hey, Sunny," Nikky greeted sadly as her friend approached the cell.

"I'm sorry, Nikky. There's nothing I can do. They said the charges have to be dropped for you to be released," Sunny explained, her voice filled with sympathy.

"Did they catch the thief who stole my diamond?" Nikky asked, her voice tinged with bitterness.

"Yeah, but he claimed someone else took it from him," Sunny replied, shaking her head in frustration. "It seems like they planned it together."

"A setup?" Nikky muttered angrily, pacing back and forth in her cell. "He tricked us, Sunny. He played us for fools."

"What do we do now?" Sunny asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Nikky stopped pacing, a steely resolve settling over her. "I won't give up. I'll find a way to clear my name and get that ring back," she declared firmly, her eyes blazing with determination.

"Don't blame yourself, Nikky," Sunny urged, reaching out to comfort her friend.

"I won't. And I won't let him win," Nikky replied, her voice unwavering despite her inner turmoil.

Together, they discussed their options, planning their next steps carefully. Nikky knew the road ahead would be difficult, but she was determined to fight for justice and reclaim what was rightfully hers.

As Sunny left, Nikky remained seated on the cold floor of her cell, her mind racing with thoughts of revenge and redemption. She knew the fight was far from over, but she refused to back down.

"I will make him pay," Nikky whispered to herself, her voice filled with quiet determination.
