Chapter 3: Haruki Suou and Hebi Nakamura

I looked shocked at the ludicrous thing they said "It's impossible." I said as the man laughed "You awakened us so be grateful!" The Man then said as i looked at him questioning what he said "What?"

"Oh dear… Who do you think helped you During the bandit fight when you passed out?" said the woman as she then pointed at the man. "H-Huh?"

"I saved your ass because you're interesting." Said the man as he smiled and it was obvious he was eyeing my body wanting to enter it. "So you.. ripped that bandit?" I asked as they nodded the woman then said "Let me introduce myself dear, I Am Finana Witch of the Forest, you can call me Mother though." She smiled warmly, geez she really does give motherly vibes "I'm Adamas King of the dead, of course i escaped hell because i got bored and then i met this beautiful lady and yeah thats about it." They then smiled and said "We're your parents!" I stayed silent and then said "Is the prank over?" Adamas then looked mad "Hey! You know if it weren't for my wife you would be dead!"

"Huh..? Wait a minute… The higher beings…"

"That's right Honey it was us, we granted you a blessing."

"And why do you keep claiming you're my parents?" I asked as they then smiled "You're an interesting fella!" Adamas said excitedly

"Because see we want a child, and you seemed the perfect fit! You also look the part with your white hair and those scarlet red eyes." Said Finana as she then gestured me to come close and so i did, she then grabbed me in an embrace "There there… you did good." She said as she then caressed my hair. This woman seriously gave the vibes of an actual mother. "Anyways did you like my blessing? I asked Adamas to give it to you." She said as i then realized it "You mean at the door of death..?" She nods

"But wait I thought we weren't allowed to get blessings!" I said as she then put her finger in a shhh gesture "Our little secret okay?" I slowly nodded and then decided to ask, "was it you who gave me that skill then? The one thats Redacted." They both looked surprise and then Adamas spoke "we only gave ya a skill just one not two." And then i explained to them "redacted… skill?" Finana asked and then let go of me and stood up "I'll look for it in the library… for now it seems you should wake up so our meeting is over, I hope you accept the proposal to be our Son." She smiled warmly and then walked away as they bid farewell i began sensing myself waking up. "Haruki..?" I opened my eyes only to see Akari so close to my face. "Huh?"

"Good morning! It's the next day! And also the train appears to have arrived!" She said as i then felt a blush appear because she was too close "Uh… Akari… You're too close." I said as she then turned red and backed away "Pervert." Is all she said as she looked at me and then began leaving the train, i let out a yawn and stood up to head out as well. "Hey Guys did i oversleep?" I asked as they nodded "Yeah! We tried to wake you up but you didn't budge till i got real close!" Akari then said and i sighed "Sorry i must have been tired, Anyways let's go." I said as i saw the door In front of me. "Haruki you go first." Hebi said as Akari approved of this

"Why me?" I asked as Hebi replied "Because you got us here so go on." Hebi said as i then entered the door and suddenly I heard it on a speaker "Congratulations! Haruki Suou is the First person to enter!" As Hebi and Akari entered then the speaker said "Congratulations! Hebi Nakamura is the second person to enter!"

"Congratulations! Akari Watanabe is the third person to enter!" I felt relieved and they both smiled "Hehe you're pretty famous Haruki." Akari said as she smiled and patted my shoulder "You're the first person to enter the door! Be happy!" Akari said as i smiled at her confidence "Thanks Akari."

I looked at Hebi as he made eye contact with me, a blonde guy with green eyes appeared "Yo brat come here." He signaled me to come to a corner so i then went there ending the eye contact with Hebi. "So do you mind telling me how the higher beings Finana and Adamas are your parents?" Aros asked as i then looked at him shocked "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, he then pulled up a screen with news for higher beings about me being the first to enter and then saw the comments of Adamas and Finana saying I'm their son. "Explain this!" Aros demanded as i then replied "Uh… Teehee?"

"Don't you Teehee Me Haruki Suou!" Damn this guy is acting like a parent more than Finana and Adamas. "Well i had a dream and thats where i met them." I explained everything and told him that i never accepted their proposal to be their son, of course I didn't want to betray their trust so i never mentioned the blessing they gave me.

"Look I don't get it, but Every higher being now thinks you are their actual son." Aros said as he then added "Also right now… That Hebi guy seems like a snake." (Referred to the fact Hebi means snake.) "huh?"

"Your friend is a snake."

"No way."

"He accepted a blessing from a higher being from the information i got, and management says its fine!" He said as he began explaining the rules to me as if i was interested "Shut up a bit, so Hebi is not a friend but a foe?" He then nods and i laugh "Aros just go." I said as he tried to talk hut i walked away and went to Hebi. "Hey Hebi… Did you-" i was interrupted by a woman wearing royal clothing similar to Aros with pink hair and red eyes "Hello there it appears you three passed the first floor and also ended up obtaining five hidden items from the train. Now the requirements for the SSS class Mask has been met!" She said as she then took items from my Multi dimensional space and took five items in total and gave me a mask. "Take this Child, and you three may proceed to the training ground before you move to floor 99."

[ Mask of The Fool.

Ability: When user wears the mask he undergoes a raise in all stats and MP by 40% and also conceals the presence of the user.

Description: This mask belonged to Aros the Fool once banished he became a fool and created a cult under him which then ended up giving him the title of The Fool. ]

That's weird but i accepted the Mask and wore it. "Haruki looks creepy." Said Akari as i looked at her she quickly made a squeak sound and hid behind Hebi. "What were you saying Haruki? Before you got interrupted." Hebi asked ignorant of the fearful Akari, I took this chance and decided to ask. "Did you receive a blessing?" I asked as Akari and him had a shocked expression "How…" Hebi said looking shocked at what he just heard wanting to know how i knew. "You gained a blessing and never told me, Why?" I asked as he then replied "Because it's a secret Haruki, Jeez is it that hard to explain?" He said angrily as i then replied "We're a team Hebi!" I said "We're supposed to go through thick and thin together!" He obviously looked angry and then began laughing "Team? Don't get the wrong idea kid."

"Huh?" Akari then interrupted with the shock of what Hebi said. "I just used you to Progress nothing else nothing more." He said as he then pulled out his Greatsword. "Haruki, Fight me." He said as i then looked shocked… Hebi wants me to fight him…?

"If you beat me i'll be your ally once again but if i win, our team up is over." He said with a grin "Never once did i think of you as an ally because you're weak." That's when it hit me. [ Activating Steps of speed ] i grabbed my dagger and then rushed at him as i wore the mask [ Activating Overseer of the future. ]

I saw the future of the fight and in it I saw myself dying. I had to prevent that outcome so i dodge his first attack and then attacked back. "Gah!" Hebi panted as he got Hit i then decided to do It.

"Hebi You're my partner!" I said as he then attacked me. Of course having a greatsword his hit was more effective and i bled out a lot. "Too Weak." He said as i then checked my Stats

Alright time to try it out. I put the dagger in my Multi-dimensional space as i looked at Hebi.

"Hebi, Sorry but i think i won." I said as he looked confused, I disappeared from in front of him and appeared from behind (Due to his high agility he was too fast.) [ Activated Fist of the dead ] "You're my Partner understand?" I said as i then punched him in the back and sent him flying to the wall and it created a giant Tear in the wall. "It seems like i did win." I said as I passed out due to Low MP only thing i saw was the word [ Activating Redacted ].

"It seems I've awoken once again." I stared at the battlefield looking for anyone to attack and Saw an Unconscious guy with a beanie "hmm.. seems like all the fun ha-" i looked at a pillar and found a girl hiding behind it. "Kekeke… Come here Child." I said as she slowly approached me "H-Haruki?" She asked as i then shook my head and then hit her in the back of the neck to knock her out. "Can't let my appearance be known… Kekeke…. Not yet." I smiled as i was about to leave this body someone appeared "Oh? Well well well if it isn't the fool." I said as i saw Aros The fool "What brings you here?" I asked as he then says "this body isn't yours to toy with, Leave." Just a few words and I then began feeling my spirit fade "I was about to leave Mister Fool." I can't help but grin from ear to ear "With you here things will be interesting Kekeke…." I will be back once more Haruki Suou.

I slowly opened my eyes and Saw Hebi and Akari both unconscious. "Huh? Akari you okay?

I Shaked Akari and she slowly opened her eyes. "Huh? What happened…? Did Haruki win against Hebi?" I nodded as i looked at Hebi he seemed unconscious "Hey Akari heal him…" Akari began healing the injured Hebi as i looked at her "He didn't mean anything he said by the way, don't worry… Hebi is our friend." I said smiling as she smiled she continued healing him "Please don't fight again… We're all friends here you know." Akari showed her worry so i pat her head. "You'll forever be my partner Hebi Nakamura either you like it or not we are clearing this tower together."
