In front of Hirvan's room, the resort manager stood stiffly, his demeanour professional yet slightly nervous. He held out a sleek, metallic key card, extending it toward Hirvan with a practised smile.
"Here is your key, sir."
The manager said, his voice steady, though there was a slight tremor.
Hirvan glanced at the key card with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. His brows furrowed slightly as he reached out to take it, his fingers brushing against the cool surface of the card. But as he felt the weight of the situation settle in, he hesitated.
"I think there's been a mistake."
Hirvan said, his voice firm but not unkind. He offered the key card back to the manager, shaking his head slightly.
"I'm here with my family. Even if you give me this, I'd still prefer to stay near them."
The manager's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered.
