I watched quietly as he ate and turned my sight to the street. There weren't many people around this time, only those that worked overtime or college kids were visible.

Some were smiling, laughing in joy. Some also had empty eyes, extremely exhausted from work and stressed.

"How rare that this district is peaceful." I spoke.

"The gang that controls this territory has been wiped out."

"I see."

A new one would just form, I thought to myself. It was unknown how many times I've eliminated the gangs controlling the area, but each time I was gone for a mission on the surface and returned, a new gang would form and control the district. This continued endlessly.

Eliminating the recent gang has always been in my mind, but I never have the time to do it. I'm thankful though for whoever did the job, but I'm not interested in who did it.

"I have a job for you." I said without warning.

With food still in his mouth, he responded, "What is it?"

"I want information about him." I showed him a photo of a boy. It was the boy that summoned the mecha.

"Why do I felt like I've seen him?" He stopped eating and closed his eyes, fell into a deep thought. I waited.

"That's right! He's that demonic boy! I remember him!" He yelled in enlightenment.

"Demonic?" I tilted my head slightly and recalled him to see any resemblance of a demon. I found none.

"Yeah, rumors said he killed everyone that caused his father's death. He wiped out a gang that used to control this district. You should see the difference now."

It's the same boy? It's not impossible with his power, I mused slightly.

"Could you tell me more about him?"

I listened to his explanation. Here's what I learned; the boy was born on the surface and came from a poor family. His father used to be a CEO and founder of a huge company that was responsible for the city's infrastructure and building. However, he lost in the struggle for power, betrayed by his supporters and got into deep debt.

Under intense stress, he commit suicide and leaving the boy alone, shouldering his father's burden. An organization that the father has debt with adopted the boy and told him to do extreme jobs.

He was still in the organization, but rumor has it he betray it after killing one of its member.

"Thank you, Seraph. Do you know where he lived?"

"District Aegis."

The ancient city has five districts. Excalibur, Avalon, Gram, Olympus and Aegis.

"Alright. I'll visit him."

"Make sure to come out alive. Who else gonna bring me food?" He waved his hand.

I gave him a nod before flying to Aegis. On the way, I spotted two men, forcing a girl to do something indecent. They pinned her body against the car and locked her arms behind her back.

Without hesitation, I dived down like an eagle and hit them with my elbow; on the face to be precise.

They were sent flying and only stopped after crashing a wall not far from them. They instantly faint. I didn't stop and increase my altitude, flying away.

"Thank you!" I heard the girl yell, but I didn't say anything in return.

After around five minutes, I finally arrived at Aegis. The house here were mostly build with wood. There was no space between each house and they were so close to one another. The planks of wood looked old and neglected.

The street was only four meters wide. They parked their motorcycles and bicycles here, making it even smaller.

I looked at the houses. Most of the outside lamps were off, except for a few. I keep this in mind and take a stroll. The street lead me to a business district.

Here, most buildings were made of concrete. There were also a lot of people. Some just get off of their work and some were college kids. Perhaps to make the district even more upbeat, you could hear muffled music coming out of different shops.

"Hello sir! Would you want me for an hour for a hundred Erk?" A beautiful lady wearing a sexy clothes with a plump chest approached me.

"No, I'm still young, but thank you for the offer. Oh, that's right, have you seen this boy?" I showed her the boy's photo.

"I'm sorry, I have never seen someone like that."

"Do you know someone that can help me?" I asked politely as I put my phone back to my pocket.

"I'm not sure, I'm quite busy, but if you..." She intentionally cut her words midway and looked at me with obvious meaning.

"I don't bring cash. Do you have a QR?"

She gave me her QR and after paying the amount, she led me to a hostess club. Upon entering, I saw familiar faces. They were Honor that fought on the surface.

Enchanting women sit around them, serving them drinks. These Honors looked extremely drunk. I glanced at them briefly before following the lady upstairs. We reached the third floor and after walking on a short hallway, we stopped at a pink door with a rainbow, pony sticker and pink string curtain.

I looked at her calmly, as if doubting her. She comprehend it and spoke with a smile, "Don't look at someone from their cover."

She knocked the door rhythmically and shouted, "Yin Hee! You have customers!"

"How many times have I told you? I'm not going to do it!" A sweet voice came from behind the door, muffled.

"It's not that kind of customer!"

Not even ten seconds later, she opened the door. She had short blond hair and had a petite figure. She had round eyes, a youthful and striking appearance. She wore long sleeves jacket and a pair of jeans.

She looked at her friend before shifting her attention to me. Her eyes slowly enlarged in surprise.

"It's you..."

"Yin Hee, you know this guy?" The girl pondered.

"Know him? Vena, don't you know who he is? He's The Mist! Oh my god, I'm a huge fan! I've always wanted to meet you!" Her eyes were filled with sparkles, it almost blind my eye.

"Nice meeting you." I smiled.

"Sorry, Yin Hee, I don't know who that is." She said apologetically and continued, "I don't want to bother you, I'll take my leave." She turned around and walked away on the catwalk.

"Okay, thank you." She then turned her eyes to me and said, "Come in, come in!" Rather excitedly.

Her apartment wasn't vast, but it has everything. One small bedroom, small kitchen that leads to the bathroom. The living room was small with a tv and sofa surrounding the round table.

Her apartment was clean. The floor seemed to be recently mopped. Flowery fragrance spread throughout the entire room, the smell was nice.

"Take a seat, do you want tea or coffee?" She asked politely.

I sat on the couch. It was soft as my butt immediately sunk in.

"Tea, please."

"Okay, hold on a minute." She went to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, she left the kitchen with a tray of cups of tea. She softly put them on the table before  taking a seat. I took a sip. It tastes refreshing with a bit of bitterness and sweetness. This level of sweetness is perfect for me. I enjoyed the tea even further.

"So, how'd you come up with your superhero name 'The Mist'? Is it because it's related to your powers?" She asked.

Since she was being nice and hospitable, I answered simply, "Yes."

Afterward, she continued asking me with different questions. I patiently replied to them one by one.

"So, what do you need from me?" She finally wondered.

"I want you to find me a boy." I replied and showed her his photo.

"Okay, do you have something that related to him? Hair, clothes that he recently wear, favorite possession, blood, bodily liquid?"

"No." I shook my head.

"Then I can't help you."

"That's unfortunate," I got up from the sofa and continued, "The tea is delicious, thank you." and was about to walk away when she said;

"Now, now, don't be hasty. I can help you find the boy in another way."

"What could that be?"

"I'll come with you. I can track him with my powers." She walked towards me.

"I don't have enough money to pay you." I said regretfully.

She chuckled, "there's no need for that. Besides, you've saved my life before. This is the least thing I can do to repay you."

"I did?" I looked at her in confusion. I don't have any recollection whatsoever of saving her.

"For you, it might just be another Tuesday, but I'll always remember it." She reminisced about the past happily and continued, "Now, we should get going."
