La granode Sóuffrance

Luck stared at the girl in front of him for a moment, she was in a pure white dress that seemed to take inspiration from a rose. Her hair was neatly tied in a bun allowing a few stray strands to fall off and her eyes had that same sparkle of determination.

Like Luck said before, a dance was not just for the sake of fun or merely a symbolic activity, in truth dancing was a pivotal way of sharing information.

So as he watched Ella, he knew immediately that she wanted to talk.

Turning to Jane who had a goofy smile and Chari who simply watched the girl with curiosity Luck took Ella's hand and the two of them moved to the dance floor.

The music slowly transformed into another tune, a tune he was getting quite accustomed to.

He easily flowed with the beat retracing everything that Jane had taught him as he moved with practiced steps.

Ella on the other hand seemed to have mastered dancing already, she moved elegantly flowing with the tune perfectly. Already, she had captured the attention of multiple people who simply stopped dancing to watch the little girl.

She moved around the dance field as though her body weighed nothing more than paper, her steps were precise, her twirls were breathtaking and the way she looked at him.

Such intensity…

Luck was getting outdone and that didn't sit well with him, he had no problem loosing to Jane since she was considerably older than him but he could not let anyone else beat him!

Luck had tried as much as possible to avoid using the dance moves he learned in the last world because of how much it was linked to his abilities but at this moment, watching as Ella far outclassed him…

… it was a risk he was willing to take.

The tune shifted to a faster paced beat, the two dancers increasing their speed as the melody filled the room. Luck let the music sink in, he listened to every little sting, every little thrum of the drum, every little key and very soon he could completely feel the music.

He channeled his psyia away from his eyes as much as he could to at least mitigate the effect of the soul sight and then he began to move.

It was an all too familiar dance, Luck moved as one with the beat, foot after foot was placed in perfect synchronization. His hands moved as though he was directing the beat and his spins were nothing short of graceful.

It was as though a new person had taken the field, and people immediately noticed.

All eyes were on the two of them as they captivated the audience. Ella's moves were angelic capturing the very essesne of the dance while Luck's movements were more like the air, it captured the very essence of the music.

Before long the two of them were locked in a fierce competition, Luck stared into Ella's eyes only to be met with a fierce look that said "I'm not loosing."

And so the two of them danced and danced locked in a world of their own, they did not notice the stares or the eerie silence that was only filled in by the sound of the instruments, they were entirely absorbed by the dance.

Noticing the spectacle the coordinator smirked, the boy… at that very moment he looked as though he appreciated his music more than anyone else in the room!

It was a fantastic sight for him, he could not disappoint the lad.

The conductor's hand began to move more violently with more harsh strokes, he was going to stress his group with this one but it was well worth it, his most difficult piece.

La granode Sóuffrance.

The violins flared as they thrummed their instruments with renewed vigor, the trumpets followed soon blowing with all their might.

With a stroke of his baton there was a resounding boom from the drummers and then with another stroke there was a short pause and then all the instruments played at once in an uproar of perfect symphony.

Beads of sweat rolled down his face to his already soaked shirt but he didn't stop.

More intensity!

He stroked his batton forward towards the violins.

More vigour!

He stroked his batton towards the pianists.

More Culminér!

Just as Luck and Ella were finally begining to stop the conductor hit them with another song, one they could not help but dance to. Luck found himself lost in the tune shortly after and then he saw something..

It was a very brief vision lasting no longer than a single second but what he saw in that single second was enough to almost make him stumble.

The view was dark so he could not make much of the environment, the only thing he could see were two men standing in the darkness. The first one had intense grey eyes that had a hint of blue in them and dark blue hair that blended with the darkness, it was Nevi.

His hand was currently locked in a hand shake with another man. Luck felt himself turn his face in the vision only to be greeted by a figure that sent a chill down his spine.

Greying hair, golden eyes and a psychotic smile, there was no doubt about it, he was the man from that night.

What then was the head of the moon clan doing with a man like him?

His questions were left without answers because he was immediately drawn out of the vision and back into reality.

"Are you alright?"

Ella's asked.

"It looked like you were really upset about something just now."

Luck still dancing took a moment to regain himself and then his eyes roamed around searching for his father.

It wasn't long before he saw him in the distance entertaining some of the guests. He was surrounded by many distinguished individuals who seemed eager for his attention.

He then turned his attention back to Ella who seemed to have been talking to him for sometime now.

"Kul."

"Huh?"

"Are you alright? You look bothered."

"Ohh, don't worry I'm doing great."

Ella stared at him for a moment the two of them still dancing although at a more gentle pace now.

"If you say so."

"So what did you want to talk about?"
