Diary of the mentor ch25 Prelude to Bureau pt3.

"Lycon enough!"

Was it out his luck or staged, Ren couldn't tell for Lucas but immediately he had lunged forward to push luacs away,an opposing voice declared stopping the wolf claws an inch away from digging into the poor vampires pale neck.

"... received!" The wolf with its right eye dripping with blood from luacs's attack eyed the boy a look of resentment in its remaining left eyes.

It seems to enjoy the frighten look the vampire give it because it smirked a cynical kind of smirk as its slowly pulled its enormous claws back before taking a step to the side to reveal a figure cloaked in a pure black cloak.

With the darkness of the night the figure seems to blend perfectly in their surroundings with the only evidence of their existence being their pale golden eyes that shimmered underneath the hood of their cloak.

"Who are-"

Before luacs could finished an intense and bone crashing sensation crushed into the side of his rib sending him fly and crashing into the window of the cafe beside the road.

"Luca.."

Ren screamed and tried going after him but before he could even begin his movements the cloaked figure sudden appeared infront of him causing him to stiffen in fear.

Under the intense gaze of the cloaked figure his shoulder began to feel heavy as if a whole building was being mounted on his back.

He sudden felt the urge to stop breathing just to not be noticed by the figure but his attempt seemed futile as the godly gaze of the individual calmly examined him before letting out a eerie smile visible underneath their hood.

"A relic!" The individual muttered examining his green bow.

Ren unconsciously clutched tightly to his bow as he felt the predator like gaze the individual stared at his weopons with.

"Hahaha...." The individual chuckled before averting their gaze from him and turning to face the whole in the window luacs had crushed into.

"A student of two transcendant...." They muttered in disbain," ...and this is the best he can offer....can't say I'm impressived!"

"How dare you!"

An unkown foreign emotion filled Ren heart as he spat out those words.

Just because their had defeated luacs in a single strike didn't mean the boy was weak.

"Ho..."The Cloak figure smirked finally returning their gaze to Ren.

The intense of their gaze was so frightening and foreboding Ren felt he was being stare down by a deity but the oddly familiar sight breaks him from that mindset.

"How dare you...you an outsider how dare, attack us with you fuckering furry and look at that vampire with disbain!"

The wolf finding his words insulting trying approaching him but the cloaked figure block the beast's pathway with their right arm.

"How insignificant is the boy existance that you would reduce his name to just a transcendant student. You think you so powerful, you thing just because you defeat him with a single strike you could just labeled him however you wanted. You have no right... absolutely no right to do that!"

Gaining a title was both an honor and a curse. As a child he ones used to live his life as Ren iris. He was called Ren but after his sister took on the throne and became the new leader of the elf's he was reduced to nothing more than the Queen's brother.

It was painful,so painful not being regard by one true name but rather ones association.

But the wosre part was he too was guilty of said act. Every since he arrived in the siegharts mansion he has mostly referred to Lucas as the vampire because that was one how he saw him.

As merely a vampire Frey felt pity on and took up responsibility of.

Even when Alicia had told him tale upon tale of how wonderful she belived luacs was he felt they where exaggerated but after meeting Lucas himself and observing him through the week he realized how wrong he might have been.

Sure the vampire wans't the most impressive individual around but no one had any right to look at him in disbain just to call him a transcendant student.

Because the laucas hadn't asked for their expectatuon to be placed on him.

He knew not who the figure was and honestly didn't care but truly matter was the fact that only those who had formed a bond with the boy could look down on him.

And right now the cloaked individual wasn't one of those.

"He never asked for you expectations." Breaking free from the presence of opposing the cloaked figure give, he declared.

"So you have no right to look at him in disbain!"

The individual seemed almost astonished as they took a step back and turned to the wolf itching to rip Ren to shreds.

"Let's leave?" They requested and began turning away.

As they left Ren smiled and cursed." That right,as you leave remember the so called disappointment by you standards took an eye from you furry friend."

Ren gasped realizing what he had said.

"Fuck!"he cursed noticing the cloaked figure stopped.

"You right..." They replied in a more humane voice."I'll remember it!"

The last part of their sentence was chilling but Ren didn't have time to focus on it as he rushed towards the cavity's in the windows Lucas had crashed into.

Jumping through the cavity,he entered the cafe.

The interior was relatively fine except for the middle part leading to the backroom which had a hole through it.

At the other side of the hole was a youth with medium length white hair lumped on the floor below.

Compared to the wall with has a humaniod shape carved on it,it could be said the vampire was relatively unscathed.

Approaching the unconscious vampire with hurried but worried steps he crounched beside his boy and placed his palms on the vampire neck and later on his wrist to check his pulse.

"Good!" He sighed in relief observing the vampire was still alive.

He unconscious sat on the ground beside the vampire as sweat began to form around his forehead.

His reaction was a bit delayed but yes he was scared.

A were wolf anomaly, a mysterious individual. The incident happened so fasted he couldn't quite process what had happened.

"Who was that!"Ren mused and held his forehead in exhaustion as the image of the golden eye figure flashed in his mind.

Just remembering the oppressing aura the individual gives him caused him to shivered in fright.

That individual was a saint, being's at the fourth stage of awakening, who where the apex of humanity.

Currently they only numbered a hundred but that was counting only the registered ones.

He wans't basing the individual rank on his assumptions but fact.

After all had that individual been a transcendent he wouldn't even have survived their aura.

After a while of relaxing he tried carrying luacs but stopped ones he had the approaching steps of people.

At first he had though their attackers where back to kill them but it seems he was wrong as a beautiful red haired walked through the entrance of the cafe.

---------------------

"When every you feel lost, don't panic."

"Why will I feel lost when I have you big sis?'

It was a memory from a long time a ago.A time where he was but a simply child coated with the love of his sister.

It was such a long time that his memories couldn't perfectly replicate the setting but he knew or rather beloved it was night, a full moon's night.

He remembered being in his sister's embrace as the two stared at the beautiful moon with a serene look in their eyes.

"Hehehe!"

On that night he remembered his question causing his sister to chuckle a playful expression evident on her face.

He remembered thinking what was is funny about his words after all back then he truly believed his sister was always going to be there for him.

After a while of chuckling at his question his sister finally gave him a stern look while her violet eyes watched him with a look of affection.

"I won't always be there for you.." she paused a bit trying to let the little him process that information.

"Big sis!"

" One's you grow old..."she began a tone growing lower the more she spoke,"...we will go different paths..."

"Paths!" He remembered repeating that word filled with uncertainty.

"Yes paths!" She smiled bitterly," twenty years ago our father, betrayed this world and offer our destiny to someone..."

"Father, betrayal, destiny!"

He perfectly understood what those words meant but he just couldn't make sense of what his sister had been saying.

"Confusion is normal after all you are a child now but freth not for it will all make sense one day. So for now luacs...." Her embrace tighted as if a mother too afraid to let go of their precious child.

"....always, always look at the moon when lost!"

The last thing he remembered on that day before he dozed of was the warm and familiar sensation of his sister hug.

-------------------

"Today sure has been an eventful day for you!"

Waking up the first thing luacs so was the beautiful profile of his master elegantly sitted by the window side of what looks of be a hospital.

It took a while to fill regain his consciousness but through the process all he did was silent gazed pass his master and out the window

"The moon!"he muttered his violet eyes regaining their light.

His words left his master to ponder for a few seconds before she give him a slight smile and turned to stare out the window.

For a moment her gaze lingeried towards a distance building but after a while she sighed and looked up towards the moon.

For what seemed like an eternity the master and student gazed at the full moon display in the sky not speaking a single word until dawn broke.

------------------------

Silently observing the master and student from a fair distance, the cloak of the golden eyed individual fluttered underneath the evening breeze.

The movement of their cloak too lifelike for its inanimate statues seemed to seem to expand in size as a young black haired youth with sinster looking scarlet eyes walked out of the inwards of their cloak with a confident grin displayed on their face.

Now standing side by side with the cloaked figure the black haired youth placed both of his hands in his pocket and eyes the city view in disbain.

"Cpytic seasons is almost here. Is the present ready?" The cloaked individual remarked and closed their golden eyes.

"It is!" The black haired youth grinned his blood red eyes beaming with malice as his continued," In six months time the Bearu is going to have an unwrapping of the century."

"Good!"

The cloaked individual reaction was bleak and too bland leaving the scarlet eyed youth a bit disappointed but their next words caused his eyes to shimmer in excitement.

"This creature believe they are the usurpers of this world...."

As their eyes flared open, they stretched out their slender pale arm riddled with scar towards cityscape.

The myraid of lights visible from where they looked beamed with live, so much life but the figure simply gazed at it with disbain as they uttered their remaining words,"...so let's remind them. Remind them that they life in a cage, a cage of our making!"
