"Sure why not?" Azzy answered, the portal didn't look bad and she could feel life in there, it can be the perfect world for them.
"Well okay" Tod said enthusiastically, he didn't mind which world they went to, and he also wanted to see another world after staying in the abyss for an entire week, but he does miss his fishing…
Aranya shrugged and then went in front of the portal. "let's go, the last one to enter has to do something for the two winners~" She said with a wink.
"Well i guess you are second" Azzy who was beside Tod appeared directly in front of the portal and went in…Tod knew he already lost since Aranya looked at him, then blew a kiss at him and entered the portal…
"…Well…i am hopeful they are nice…but i don't think i can handle their teasing to much.." He said with a sigh.
"Before you leave, how was your stay in the abyss?" The abyss asked in front of him.
He looked at the message and then replied. "Well it's not bad, i enjoyed it and i am thankful for bringing me here…though i don't know the reason why" He said with a smile.
"I see, the reason why you are in the abyss was originally because you were once a part of 'me', So i just brought back that piece to only find out it became a soul, so in simpler terms, i am your mother?, in a strange way, but do remember, you are your own person and your own soul" Tod blinked his eyes…he didn't completely understand the abyss, but he was glad he met someone loving even though it seem like an entire world.
He didn't answer and went through the portal.
…..
The world on the other side of the portal was unlike anything Tod had ever seen. The sky was a vibrant shade of purple, with floating islands dotting the horizon. Lush forests and sparkling rivers spread out beneath them, teeming with life and color. Azzy and Aranya stood nearby, already exploring their new surroundings.
"Wow," Tod breathed, taking it all in. "This place is incredible."
Azzy turned to him with a grin. "I told you it would be perfect. Look at all this life!"
Aranya laughed, twirling around. "And so much room for adventures! Come on, let's go see what's over that hill."
Tod nodded, feeling a rush of excitement. He hurried after Azzy and Aranya, his earlier worries melting away in the face of this new world's beauty.
As they climbed the hill, the view became even more breathtaking. They could see a vast landscape filled with bizarre and wonderful creatures, from giant luminescent butterflies to towering trees that seemed to hum with energy.
"This is like a dream," Tod said, unable to tear his eyes away from the sights.
Azzy laughed. "Maybe it is. But it's our dream now. We can make it anything we want."
Aranya then remembered something. "Hey didn't you lose…doesn't that mean you owe bot of us a long and passionate kiss tod"
Tod blushed, a mix of embarrassment and amusement crossing his face. "Well, I guess a bet is a bet," he said, trying to keep his tone light.
Azzy smirked, clearly enjoying Tod's reaction. "No backing out now. We agreed on the rules."
With a dramatic sigh, Tod stepped closer to Azzy and Aranya. "Alright, alright. Let's get this over with." He gave Azzy a quick peck on the lips, then turned to Aranya and did the same.
Aranya giggled. "That was hardly long and passionate, but I'll let it slide this time. We have more important things to explore."
Tod nodded, relieved. "Yeah, let's see what this world has to offer."
Tod decided to let his wings out. "Let's fly"
"We do not have wings, but we can levitate using well Abyssal energy" Azzy said.
"We can fly but i would just cause a few storms they may or may not flood this entire place." She said
Azzy and Aranya watched as Tod's wings stretched out, shimmering in the sunlight. Tod offered a reassuring smile. "Well, I guess I'll carry you two then. It'll be faster and safer."
Aranya eagerly hopped onto Tod's back. "Alright, I'm ready for this adventure. Just make sure you don't drop us!"
Azzy joined them, settling in comfortably. "Don't worry, Tod. You've got this."
With a powerful beat of his wings, Tod lifted off the ground. As they soared towards the floating islands, the view below became even more mesmerizing. The islands seemed to float effortlessly in the vibrant sky, connected by ethereal bridges of light.
"Hey Tod," Aranya called out, her voice carried by the wind, "so what do you think of this new world? It's quite a change from the abyss."
Tod glanced back at her, smiling. "It's amazing. I never imagined a place like this. The colors and the life are just incredible. How about you two?"
"It's not bad…But Tod, did i ever say that i love you ever since our first kiss?" Tod's wings gently flapped, keeping them steady as they flew. He was caught off guard by Aranya's sudden confession and turned slightly to look at her, his heart racing.
Azzy, sensing the moment, decided to join the conversation. "Oh, that's quite the revelation, Aranya."
Aranya gave Tod a shy smile. "I know it's sudden, but I've felt this way a few days ago…maybe i just like you cause you brought me out from the deep depths after beating me in a game…" Tod's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected such an honest confession, especially in the middle of their flight. He felt a rush of emotions but kept his focus on flying steadily.
"Aranya, I…" Tod began, but before he could continue, Azzy interjected with a playful grin.
"Well, isn't this an interesting twist? Tod, you really are full of surprises."
Aranya's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red, but she held Tod's gaze. "I just wanted you to know. You've been a constant in this journey, and… well, it feels right to tell you now."
Tod took a deep breath, his mind racing. "Aranya, I appreciate your honesty. I care about you a lot too. This new world feels like a fresh start for all of us. Let's take things one step at a time and see where it leads."
Azzy, satisfied with the exchange, leaned back a little, enjoying the ride. "Well, whatever happens, we're in this together. Let's explore and make the most of this world."
They flew towards one of the larger floating islands, curiosity and excitement propelling them forward. As they approached, they could see structures made of crystalline materials, glowing softly in the daylight.
"This looks like a good place to start," Tod said, descending gently.
Aranya and Azzy hopped off his back, both looking around in awe. "It's beautiful," Aranya whispered, touching one of the crystalline structures.
Azzy nodded. "And it feels welcoming. Let's see if we can find anyone here."
As they walked through the crystalline landscape, they noticed small creatures scurrying around, each one more fantastical than the last. They finally reached what appeared to be the central plaza, where a large, ornate fountain stood. The water within it sparkled with an iridescent glow.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from behind the fountain. It was a tall, ethereal being with wings that shimmered like the night sky. "Outer beings…may i ask what you are doing on one of Nirvanas worlds?" The being gave an icy glare to the three.
"Your world, well i frankly don't care little crystal angel" Azzy said with a smile, her eyes became an indescribable color.
"hmph, Just so you know, the daughter of sleeping blind god doesn't scare me, Your brother Nyrlathothep has already invaded Nirvana hundreds of times…so don't make me kill you all," the being said, standing firm.
Azzy narrowed her eyes, her playful demeanor vanishing. "You know a lot for a crystal angel. We didn't come here to cause trouble"
Tod nodded, keeping his wings partially spread in case they needed a quick escape. "We were looking for a new place to settle. If this is a problem, we can leave."
The ethereal being studied them for a moment before its expression softened slightly. "If your intentions are peaceful, you may stay. But know that we will be watching you. Nirvana's worlds are precious, and we cannot afford any chaos."
"Too bad, we do what we want" Aranya said, her eyes immediately became a strange green ans her squid like hair moved around the air like snakes.
The ethereal being's eyes narrowed, but it didn't make any aggressive moves. Instead, it took a deep breath, its wings fluttering softly. "Very well. But heed my warning: any disruption will be dealt with swiftly and harshly."
Azzy stepped forward, her eyes still glowing with that indescribable color. "We understand. We'll respect your world and its inhabitants."
The being gave a curt nod and then vanished in a shimmer of light, leaving the trio standing in the plaza. Aranya let out a sigh, her hair settling back to its normal state. "Well, that was intense."
