The Void Had Appeared

"Ok son, You are no longer grounded" The Abyss said as she gently stroked Tod's hair, Tod is currently lying on her, sighed with relief, feeling the tension melt away from his body.

"Thanks, Mom," Tod murmured, snuggling closer into her embrace. The Abyss, her form both comforting and infinite, smiled softly down at him. Her presence was vast, encompassing all things, yet here, in this moment, she was just a mother doting on her child.

"You've grown a lot," she continued, her voice echoing with the weight of countless stars. "I'm proud of how you handled your first summon. But remember, the Abyss is not always kind. It gives, but it also takes. You must be strong and wise, for there will be more challenges ahead."

Tod nodded, his mind drifting back to Lin's desperate call for help. He knew that his role in Lin's story was far from over. The Abyss's words were a reminder that his path, while fraught with danger, was one he had chosen.

"Do you think… I did the right thing?" Tod asked, his voice barely above a whisper. The question had been weighing on him since he answered Lin's summon.

The Abyss paused, her hand stilling in his hair. "Right and wrong are often a matter of perspective, my dear. What matters is that you acted with purpose, with a desire to help. The consequences will reveal themselves in time, but do not doubt your intentions."

Tod closed his eyes, letting her words sink in. There was comfort in her wisdom, even if it didn't provide all the answers. He knew the path ahead would be difficult, but with the Abyss by his side, he felt ready to face whatever came next. "Enough of that go meet your lovers or they might get upset"

Tod blinked, a flush rising to his cheeks as he looked up at his mother with a mixture of embarrassment and amusement. "I guess you're right," he mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Azzy and Aranya have probably been waiting for me."

The Abyss smiled knowingly, her infinite presence shimmering with a touch of mirth. "They care for you deeply, Tod. You should cherish that. But remember, love is also a responsibility. Just as you protect them, they will protect you. It's a bond that requires balance."

Tod nodded, taking in her words as he reluctantly pushed himself up from her embrace. "I will, Mom," he promised. "I'll take care of them, just like they take care of me."

The Abyss watched him fondly, her form slowly dissolving back into the endless expanse. "Good. Now go, before they start tearing through the realms looking for you."

Tod laughed at the thought, knowing full well how fierce Azzy and Aranya could be when they were worried or upset. He took a deep breath, centering himself, and then set off, the lingering warmth of his mother's presence still wrapped around him like a comforting cloak.

As he stepped into the realm, he felt a sudden rush of wind and caught a flash of movement out of the corner of his eye. Before he could react, Azzy appeared before him, her bright eyes twinkling mischievously. "Took you long enough!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms with a pout that didn't quite mask her delight at seeing him.

"Sorry, Azzy," Tod replied with a sheepish grin. "Mom had a lot to say."

Azzy rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress her smile. "Yeah, yeah. You know I'm just glad you're back." She reached out and ruffled his hair affectionately. "We were starting to get worried. Well, I was, at least. Aranya was more like…" Azzy's voice trailed off, her grin widening as she looked behind him.

Tod barely had time to register the shift in energy before he was suddenly pulled into a tight embrace.

Aranya's arms wrapped around him with surprising strength, her presence like a cool shadow enveloping him. "You're late," she murmured, her voice carrying a hint of reproach, though her grip on him was nothing short of possessive.

Tod chuckled, his arms instinctively wrapping around her in return. "I know, I'm sorry," he whispered back. "Mom had a lot to talk about."

Aranya pulled back slightly, just enough to look him in the eyes, her expression a mix of relief and something more intense. "I don't like being away from you for too long," she admitted, her usually aloof demeanor softened by the vulnerability in her words.

"i was gone for like a few hours" Tod said with a smile.

—but it felt like an eternity," Aranya continued, her gaze unwavering. "The Abyss is vast, and time is… different there. Every moment you're away feels like a lifetime."

Tod smiled softly, touched by her words. He placed a gentle hand on her cheek, his thumb brushing against her skin. "I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere."

Azzy, who had been watching the exchange with a fond smile, suddenly cleared her throat. "Alright, lovebirds, let's not get too sappy here. We've got things to do, places to be." Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she nudged Tod. "And besides, I want to hear all about this summon. You can't just drop a bomb like that and not spill the details!"

Tod Playfully ruffled her hair in revenge for ruffling his hair. Azzy yelped in surprise as Tod ruffled her hair, but her pout quickly turned into a grin. "Hey! Not fair!" she protested, trying to smooth her hair back into place. "You're lucky I like you, or you'd be in serious trouble."

"Hey Aranya mind if i make Azzy blush for a bit, i promise you can cuddle me all you want but i have to show both of you equality" Tod said with a sly smile.

Aranya's eyes gleamed with a dark amusement, and a small, sly smile curled on her lips. "Oh, by all means, go ahead," she replied, her voice low and teasing. "But just know that I'll be keeping score. You owe me extra cuddles afterward."

Azzy shot Aranya a mock glare. "Traitor," she muttered, crossing her arms. But there was no hiding the faint blush that was already creeping up her cheeks.

Tod grinned, taking a step closer to Azzy. "You know, you're cute when you're flustered, Azzy," he said, his tone playful but sincere. He leaned in, his face just inches from hers, watching as her blush deepened. "And I think you like the attention more than you let on."

Azzy's breath hitched. "H-hey don't make an Abyssal phoenix's emotions rise O-or else ill…."

"Or else you'll what?" Tod teased, leaning even closer, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Set me on fire? I think we both know you'd never do that."

Azzy's blush deepened, and she tried to stammer out a retort, but the words caught in her throat. Her usual bravado was nowhere to be found as Tod's closeness and teasing words sent her heart racing.

"You… you're impossible, Tod," she finally managed, her voice a mix of frustration and something softer, more vulnerable. "You know I can't stay mad at you."

Tod chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I know," he whispered, his voice tender. "But that doesn't mean I won't keep trying to get you to blush."

Azzy huffed, trying to regain some semblance of control, but the warmth in Tod's gaze made it impossible. She looked away, flustered, but there was a small, shy smile on her lips.

"Did you know mom wanted grandchildren" Tod said with a slight smile on his face.

Azzy's eyes widened in shock, and her blush deepened even further. "W-What?!" she stammered, her voice rising an octave. She stared at Tod, her mind racing as she tried to process what he'd just said. "Hehe so Azzy want to have some hatchlings"

Azzy's face turned a brilliant shade of red, her usual composure completely shattered. "N-No! I didn't say that!" she protested, her voice high-pitched as she waved her hands defensively. "Tod, don't just say stuff like that out of nowhere!"

Tod grinned, thoroughly enjoying her flustered state. "Oh? So, you've never thought about it?" he teased, leaning in just a bit closer. "Not even a little?"

Azzy opened her mouth to retort, but the words seemed to catch in her throat. Her eyes flicked to the side, avoiding Tod's teasing gaze, and for a brief moment, there was a flash of uncertainty and longing in her expression.

Aranya, who had been watching the exchange with amusement, finally stepped in. "Careful, Tod," she said with a smirk, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Tease her too much, and you might just get a fiery response."

Tod chuckled, but he noticed the subtle shift in Azzy's demeanor. Deciding to ease up, he gently took her hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. "I'm just teasing, Azzy. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Azzy's blush remained, but she managed a small, appreciative smile as she squeezed his hand back. "I know you didn't," she murmured, her voice softer now. "But… maybe we should save that conversation for another time."

Tod nodded, understanding that while he loved to tease, some topics were best approached with care. "I know, So do you want me to give you a kiss to make it up for you, you can have one to Aranya"

Azzy's eyes widened even more, her heart skipping a beat at Tod's unexpected offer. "W-What are you saying?" she stammered, her blush returning full force. She glanced at Aranya, who was watching with a knowing smile, clearly enjoying the situation.

Aranya tilted her head slightly, her dark eyes glinting with playful interest. "Hmm, that sounds like a fair trade to me," she mused, leaning a little closer to Tod as if anticipating her turn. "After all, it's only right that we both get something out of this, don't you think, Azzy?"

Azzy's cheeks burned hotter, but she couldn't deny the fluttering excitement in her chest. She bit her lip, trying to hide the small smile threatening to break free. "You're both impossible," she muttered, though her voice lacked any real conviction.

Tod chuckled softly, seeing her struggle to maintain her composure. He stepped closer, his movements slow and deliberate, giving Azzy a chance to back away if she wanted to. But she didn't. Instead, she stood still, her breath catching as he gently cupped her cheek.

"Just a little something to show you how much you mean to me," Tod whispered, his voice warm and sincere. He leaned in, his lips brushing hers in a tender, gentle kiss.

Azzy's eyes fluttered shut as she melted into the kiss, her earlier embarrassment forgotten in the sweet moment they shared. When Tod finally pulled back, she opened her eyes slowly, her heart still racing. "Tod…" she whispered, her voice barely audible, a mixture of emotions swirling in her gaze.

Tod smiled at her softly, then turned to Aranya, who was watching with an expectant look. "And now, your turn," he said, his tone playful but laced with affection.

Aranya didn't hesitate, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around his neck as she pulled him into a deep kiss. Unlike Azzy's, this one was more intense, her cool presence contrasting with the fiery warmth of Azzy's. Tod felt the difference, savoring each moment as Aranya pressed closer, her lips lingering on his a little longer before finally breaking the kiss.

"Hmm," Aranya purred, her voice low and satisfied as she pulled back just slightly. "That was definitely worth the wait."

"You three truly put on a show, Bravo indeed, but you are declining in your abilities" Suddenly the trio were placed inside an empyt purple void.

In the middle was a girl with flowing purple hair that reflects a galaxy of blackholes and shattered stars. She was sitting on a chair as she sipped the tea from her cup.

"You can call me Aunt, Azzy can however call me grandmother and Aranya can call me Great grandmother, I am the void, The first to be born from The Primordial Mother, Chaos" Her eyes opened reflecting a starry purple color. The Void has appeared.
