People looked up to see the dragon's wings, spread out more than ten meters wide. It circled in the air, light as a dark cloud and heavy as a moving mountain. Its ice-blue scales reflected the afternoon sun, emitting a chilling aura that was both shocking and daunting.

Carlos slowly lowered his head, flames flickering in his ice-blue pupils.

Whoosh! A breath of fire covered the sky like a flood, threatening to burn all the tiny humans below to ashes.

"Are we going to die?" The knights and magicians felt an overwhelming sense of despair. In front of such a massive creature, they felt a suppression in their blood, making them feel small and powerless, with no thought of resistance.

"Take up your courage, the battle is not lost yet!" Elron, glowing with a dazzling light, maximized his mental and magical power. His invigoration spell enveloped all the extraordinary individuals, warming their hearts and dispelling the pervasive sense of doom, giving them a moment of clarity.

Mikan leaped forward to protect everyone and slammed both palms on the ground. The earth shook, and rocks and soil grew as if alive, forming a protective dome over their heads.

Redal used the instant burning fighting skill to counter the dragon's fire with his own, blocking the flames in the air. Unfortunately, the dragon's breath was slightly more powerful, swallowing up all his fighting spirit before descending with its remaining power.

Carlos sensed the danger, a trace of fear in his eyes as the energies collided in the air, causing a loud explosion that shook the earth.

Ronin did not anticipate that the power of Fire Dragon Swallowing Heaven would surpass the dragon's breath. It pushed the breath back, engulfing Carlos in flames.

"No!" Natalia screamed in agony as the flames overwhelmed her, eventually causing her body to burst apart.

Despite protests from Rydar and McCann about the danger, Ronin insisted, "I have to do this."

With no time to argue, they assisted him. Powered by the Light Body Technique and Aurora's Shadow, and propelled by the strength of two silver-level knights, Ronin soared through the air and landed on Carlos's back.

Carlos turned, bewildered by the sudden presence on its back. "???"
