Chapter 48: The Battle Continues

Thaddeus’ POV

“She had it coming,” Sebastian shrugs before lunging at Rosette. “Just like you do.”

That is when all hell breaks loose.

I intercept Sebastian before he can touch my mate. I throw him back and away from us. I whistle loudly, signaling to everyone that is fighting with me and Rosette that the battle has started. That is when I hear a bunch of howls and thundering footsteps as our army runs out of hiding around us, engulfing everyone in Sebastian’s army before they can understand what is happening. I face my Rosette, only to see a determined look on her face and her eyes showing that Kairos is on the surface.

“Rosette, Kairos,” my eyes flash pitch black as I can feel Kane raging inside me as we’re both ready to fight to the death for our mate. “Me and Kane love the both of you. When all of this is over, we’ll go on a proper date. I promise.” I cup her cheeks with my hands and kiss her forehead.
