EVANDER PERCY
"King Edward Percy has signed with the JK builders!"
I hear students talking about the hot topic in town as I pass across the hallway heading to my class. I was never interested in my father's business and never dreamt of taking over after him. I just wanted to escape the limelight always.
"Evan Millfield, You may have to drop by the music club in 10 minutes." Ms. Lucy Cooper said as soon as I entered my class. Ms. Cooper is my homeroom teacher.
I lived as "Evan Millfield" for almost my whole life, I would be "Evander Percy" only within the walls of the palace. It was not a difficult task to fake my name in the certificates as my father always has his ways of getting things done. Since it is a modernized town, The people of Albany were least interested in royal affairs. The same goes for my family, we never acted as the King or the Prince of the town as in the 18th century. We do come from a royal family and that was all about it. My father was known for being the top business typhoon rather than being known as The king.
"Evan, over here" Ms. Beth called me over as soon as she saw me entering the club. Ms. Beth is the music club Counselor and I was the President of the club.
"Luna, this is Evan Millfield, The President of the music club you may clear your queries with him while I take leave" Ms. Beth dismissed herself from the blonde girl who was standing next to her, I didn't see her yet.
"Evan, That is Luna Wilson, guide her with the club. I am running late for the meeting, Please take over." I sent off Ms. Beth with an assuring smile and turned my attention to the blondie, who was suiting herself in the room waiting for me to take over.
"Luna?" I called her to explain about the club.
She was wearing a pastel green mini-frock, a perfect summer dress in winter. Weirdo. I then shifted my eyes to her face. The color of her eyes was grey, that perfect doe eyes, her skin was as pure as a crystal, and that cherry lips. She was perfect. She wore a knitted green headband that matched her dress. She reached out her hand and said "Nice to meet you, Evander Percy."
"WHAT!?" my eyes were as wide as it ever been.
