News about the death of Vaelion shook Juniors Mountain to the core. His corpse was found in the Ascension Forge, half-eaten by monsters roaming the underground tunnels. The fae had many enemies, but rumors began to spread about his last.

Vaelion's group of nobles went to the Temple of Warriors to accuse Cedric of sending a monster after their leader. However, Alexander Howling refused to arrest or disqualify anyone without proof that they were the person involved.

Investigations were launched to find the giant beast that the group described, but nothing could be found. Vaelion and his corpse were sent back toward his hometown after no conclusion was reached.

As for the man in the center of this storm, he spent his days hunting inside the dungeon with Arturo. The two of them formed a good team of sorts, as Arturo used his skill to bait monsters before Cedric disposed of them.
