Everyone cleared the Area for Kyle and Nathan, even Lady Fairmont was there to observe the fight and act as a referee.
'Now, it's time to see how useful these skills really are.' Kai thought and his eyes began glowing green.
The marking on Nathan's head was that of a cup with wine in it, and Kai was smart enough to figure out it was the god Dionysus.
The party god or also the god of alcohol, he was more like the free spirit of the Olympians, but Kai was smart enough not to underestimate anyone.
"Let us see how well your dead god fairs against the powerful Dionysus." Nathan said with a confident look on his face.
It was no secret that Kai had awoken some dead god named Shadius, no one had ever heard of him or his feats, it was almost like he was forgotten.
"I ses why Dionysus chose you, seeing as the apple didn't fall too far from the tree, we should be expecting you to be passing out at pubs and beer parlors." Kai said with a laugh.
Nathan's dad was a very popular heavy alcoholic and coincidence or not Nathan had been chosen by the god of alcohol.
"Piss off." Nathan said, waving his hands and instantly Nate could feel the effects.
[Spell: Drunkard]
[Effects: Makes the target drunk and unable to do anything.]
[Nature: Trickery spell]
[Trickery spell detected]
[Eyes of Shadius activated.]
[Spell negated.]
Kai smiled as he regained his proper vision, but Nathan didn't know that and he hoped he wouldn't notice.
Kai began walking around like a drunkard, trying his best to throw fists in the air but the whole thing looked futile.
"That is a really powerful spell, if he masters it properly, he would be able to render even the strongest of men useless." A bystander said and Kai laughed in response.
"What's wrong Bliss? Are you feeling a little light headed? Or is this how useless you are normally." Nathan said and everyone bursted into laughter.
Everyone except Lady fairmont, she was smarter than that and she could clearly see through Kai's trickery.
'How is that boy managing to counter that spell?' Lady Fairmont asked herself but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't find an answer.
"Nathan is so going to win this fight and trash that Kai bastard, right Lady Fairmont?" A dark haired boy in the crowd said.
He was one of Nathan's minions and he was trying to pain Nathan in a good light to last Fairmont.
"Well, Nathan is skilled in making people behave like his father, and I suggest you shut up and watch the fight, you might learn something." Lady Fairmont said with the most polite smile on her face.
Nathan heard the comment from Lady Fairmont and angrily rushed towards Kai, he wanted to impress her by all means.
As soon as Nathan got close to Kai, he threw a right hook with all his strength, aiming for Kai's face.
Kai dodged completely, causing Nathan to fall to the ground due to the force and momentum he has put in the punch.
Kai stomped his feet on Nathan's head with all the strength he could muster, causing Nathan's head to bounce off the ground.
Blood filled Nathan's mouth and several bruises appeared on his face, Nathan quickly scurried back up to his feet.
[A spell has been cast.]
[Spell: Party mode.]
[Effects: Causes the target to dance continuously until they die from exhaustion.]
[Type: Trickery.]
[Trickery spell detected.]
[Eyes of Shadius has been activated to counter.]
[Spell negated successfully.]
Kai began to dance relentlessly, he was trying every random move that he knew and it was quite frankly embarrassing.
"I don't know how you managed to escape my first spell, but this one, I would just stand here and watch you die." Nathan said.
[Lying tongue has been activated.]
"So you're just going to stand there like the coward you are?" Kai asked, he had already formulated a plan and this time he wouldn't let Nathan escape.
"Do you think I'd fall for such childish trickery? Have you forgotten that the god Dionysus was also known for performing tricks and was sometimes regarded s the trickster god?" Nathan said braggadociously.
"So you think Lady Fairmont would be impressed if you win like a coward, she would see you as a real man if you fight me head on." Kai said, relentless in his deception.
"I honestly won't see you any differently, regardless of how you win." Lady Fairmont said, trying to foil Kai's plan.
She could understand what Kai was doing but she wanted him to try a little harder, she was testing how smart he was.
"She sees you as a boy Nathan, fight me as a man and change that." Kai said and his spell had finally negated Nathan's common sense.
Nathan roared, charging towards Kai, who was already anticipating him and as soon as he got close, Kai leaped into the air.
Kai's body spun in the air , creating enough momentum and with all his strength he kicked Nathan in the head.
The sound of Flesh connecting against flesh could be heard by everyone around them and Nathan was sent flying.
Kai had been training in martial arts for as long as he could remember, he was always the target of bullies so he constantly trained to defend himself.
Nathan was passed out cleanly on the floor, but Kai wasn't done with him yet.
Kai tapped Nathan forcing him awake, lying tongue was still active and he planned to use it to totally humiliate Nathan.
"If you don't kiss my feet and declare me as your master, you will die." Kai said and like the magic it was Nathan began licking Kai's feet.
"Oh strongest master, your loyal servant shall serve you." Nathan said before licking the mud off Kai's turn shoes.
Everyone cringed at the mention of Nathan's words and began laughing at him as he shamefully kissed Kai's foot.
Nathan's goons and friends rushed in to drag him out but he continued to fight against them, he fully believed that if he didn't lick Kai's feet that he would die.
'There is only one trickster god, and that is Shadius.' Kai thought with a smile on his face.
As Kai and his friends struggled to bring him back to his senses Lady Fairmont's interest had been piqued.
Just who is this boy, and what type of dead god would grant someone powers, if the so called god is dead then how is Kai channeling his powers?' Lady Fairmont asked herself.
