Magical doll.

Kai stood before his magical doll, there was enough for everyone in the class and they were all staring at them.

The dolls were all made of wood and were designed like Japanese samurai wearing masks, they had a katana which was held by both their arms, they held one leg before the other, and their eyes were dead and focused.

Although the dolls were made of wood they were still human-looking and looked extremely durable, the amount of craftsmanship that had been put into every single one of these dolls was simply outstanding, and their functionality was mind-blowing.

"These are magical dolls created by the support mage type specialization, each of these dolls is designed with the intent to train students on their battle techniques, these dolls are all capable of five different levels.

Level one is a basic sword and magical attacks, at level two these dolls increase in speed, strength, and sensibility.

At level three they possess amateur magic and sword attacks, Level four is for experts of magic and swordsmanship, these dolls become fast enough to evade lightning attacks and strong enough to cut through steel like it is paper.

At level five, this is the veteran swordsmanship and magic, no student who has studied for less than four years can take it on, its strength and speed become unimaginable, and it uses the six-sword technique. " Lady Fairmont took a dramatic pause from her speech to analyze the face of each student.

"I would be setting these dolls to level one, only people who can beat level two would be eligible to proceed to the academy. " Lady Fairmont finished.

With a simple swipe of her hand in the air, magical aura spread forth, awakening the dolls, they began to move and assumed a perfect sword stance, to show that they were ready for battle.

Kai's doll thrust his sword at him, Kai was fast enough to dodge and quickly swerved to the side, he planned to respond with an attack of his own but the doll was way too powerful.

The doll had anticipated Kai's moves and even drew him in to attack so it could counter, Kai could sense something heading towards his side at a fast pace and was too slow to dodge.

*BAM* The wooden sword had hit Kai right in his ribs, sending him flying back, the doll had made a made of Kai in under ten seconds.

"Kai, you are too reckless, do not rely completely on your instincts, you take too much pride in your strength and you overestimate it. " Lady Fairmont said, correcting all Kai's mistakes.

"Okay, miss " Kai shouted and rushed towards his doll once more, he was prepared to beat the shit out of it.

The doll was in a semi-fixed position and could not move more than two meters from its starting point.

Kai this time analyzed the doll more, it was clear it was capable of intelligence and sensibility so he made sure to carefully analyze every moment.

Kai jumped right at his doll, he was not a fool and only did so to see its reaction, the doll stabbed its sword toward Kai, stopping him right in the air.

It was so quick to act that it had failed to notice that Kai had already positioned his hands.

Kai grabbed the hilt of the sword and with all his strength he tried to rip it off.

The sword of the doll was instantly laced with fire and Kai screamed in pain, his attack had missed its trajectory and flew off course.

The doll brought its sword down on Kai, expecting to end his life there instantly.

Kai had good instincts and quickly swerved to the side, 'I pushed it to use magic, which means I should be getting better. ' Kai thought and immediately he got up from his feet.

'Now, I need to see if this thing would fall for my spells.' Kai thought to himself.

[Lying tongue and Eyes of Shadius has been activated.]

Thanks to eyes of Shadius, Kai could see the internal workings of the doll and he began analyzing it's internals.

What Kai was seeing was the internal framework of the doll and the magical energy flowing through it from it's core.

Kai could see the path the magical energy would take and that determined the doll's movements.

The doll stabbed towards Kai but he had already dodged the attack, causing it to fly past him.

Kai kneed the doll right in the stomach, trying to damage it's magic core.

'How did that boy know where the magic core is?' Lady Fairmont thought to herself.

Other people had given up their fights as they had been instantly defeated and instead focused on two very interesting boys.

A few feet away from Kai, a white haired Asian boy with blue eyes and a sword of his own had engaged the doll.

His sword was glowing a bright blue and with each clash he and the doll had, blue sparks began to fly.

Zach jumped backwards, stretching out his right hand a lightning bolt shot out and the doll barely managed to dodge it.

"Woah, he is bound to Zeus." One of the students screamed, only one out of a million people were bound to Zeus and they were treated as national treasures.

The same for the other brothers,Hades and Poseidon, people who were bound to them tended to become incredibly powerful vanquishers.

"Look at that other boy with the dead god, he is still in the fight." One of the students pointed at Nate.

Kai had tried his lying tongue skill but it didn't work on the doll as it had no life, right now he was just relying on his instincts and eyes of Shadius.

Despite Kai being able to see everything that the doll would do, he was still losing woefully.

"Die you bastard." Kai screamed, dodging one of the doll's attacks, he grabbed the doll's sword and it erupted into flames.

Despite being burnt Kai refused to give up, he pulled the sword forward and the doll followed suit.

Kai banged his head on the doll, causing his own skull to be fractured instantly.

Despite being made of wood, the body of the doll's were still incredibly durable but Kai couldn't care less.

Blood began dripping from Kai's head and with his blood beginning to boil, his heart began pounding.

"I refuse to give up." Kai said, if he was going to become strong enough to beat Mark then he needed to do better.
