(Out on the ocean blue and riding on Lapras.)
(Mew and her friends are sailing towards an island, which is their destination.)
Tracey: "Well, there's Pummelo Island,"
(Tracey says.)
Mew: "Yeah,"
(Mew says.)
Eevee: "Eevee," (There it is.)
(Eevee says.)
Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Almost there.)
(Pikachu says.)
(Now that Mew has earned four Orange League badges.)
(Mew and her friends are heading for the Orange League for Mew to compete and win the winner's trophy.)
(Mew says with pride.)
Mew: "Nothing's gonna stop us now!"
Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika. Pika/ Eevee Eevee" (Yeah!)
(Pikachu and Eevee say.)
(Then all the Pokemon sense something, and turn their heads.)
Mew: "What's up guys?"
(Mew asks.)
(Mew and the other trainers look to see a figure flying along the sea.)
Jen: "I wonder what that is,"
(Jen wonders.)
(Tracey looks through his binoculars to get a better look as the figure starts flying upward at incredible speed.)
(Soon enough, Mew and the others dock at the port.)
(and they arrive at the reception desk to sign in for their Orange League challenge.)
(Mew says.)
Mew: "Hi, I'm here to battle for the Orange League trophy."
The receptionist: "Another one, eh? Let me just verify your individual badges."
(The receptionist says.)
(Mew then shows the man her badges and he uses a machine to scan them, and the badges are verified.)
(Soon, the badges and Mew's picture are on the screen.)
The man: "Well, now, it says here that you came all the way here from Pallet Town, Ms. Mew. Is that right?"
(The man replies.)
Mew: "Yeah, Pallet is my home town,"
(Mew says.)
(While Mew is checking at the desk, Tracey, Tomo, Jen, and the other Pokemon are looking at the Dragonite statue.)
(Tracey is also sketching it.)
Tracey: "This statue sure looks familiar,"
(Tracey says.)
The receptionist: "Okay Mew, your winner trophy's match is set for tomorrow morning at ten o'clock sharp at Pummelo Stadium."
(The receptionist says.)
Mew: "Thank you,"
(Mew says.)
(Then asks.)
Mew: "Do you know where the stadium is?"
(Soon, the receptionist leads the group to the stadium.)
The receptionist: "Well, there it is. Pummelo Stadium. Where you will have your big battles tomorrow."
(The receptionist says.)
Mew: "Wow. It's huge!"
(Mew says.)
(Then the group arrives at a green building next to the stadium.)
The receptionist: "And this. This is the Palace of Victory,"
(The receptionist says.)
Mew: "Palace of Victory?"
(Mew asks.)
The man: "Well, that's the official name. But most folks know it now as the Orange League Hall of Fame,"
(The man says.)
(As the group walks inside, Tracey notices the same Dragonite statue.)
Tracey: "Hey, look. That same statue,"
(Tracey says.)
(Soon, everyone arrives inside to see so many different photographs, statues, and plates in the room.)
The receptionist: "All these photos and displays and trophies are here to offer every trainer who's been victorious in the Orange League since the establishment of the winner's trophy,"
(The receptionist explains.)
Mew: "Ohh,"
(Mew says, amazed.)
(Then the receptionist says.)
the receptionist: "To get into the hall, a trainer has to defeat the four members of the Orange Crew and the Pummelo gym leader in a full Pokémon battle."
Jen: "What's a full battle?"
(Jen asks.)
The receptionist: "That's when you both battle with 6 Pokémon,"
(The receptionist says.)
Mew: "Six Pokémon?!"
(Mew says, surprised.)
(Pikachu and Eevee are just as surprised.)
Tracey: "This isn't gonna be easy. You'll have to think hard about the Pokémon you're gonna use,"
(Tracey says.)
Misty: "And a six on six Pokémon match could last a pretty long time,"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "You're right. It sounds a lot like the six on six battle at the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League,"
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "But, either of you will be in the Hall of Fame forever if you win it,"
(Tomo says.)
Mew: "Yeah,"
(Mew says.)
Jen: "Maybe even longer,"
(Jen says.)
(Then the receptionist says.)
the receptionist: "I'm sure you all must've noticed that competition in each one of the Orange Island gyms is very different. That's because the Orange Crew believes it's important to test both trainers and their Pokémon under lots of different circumstances to prove how well they work together. And if you're able to win in the four Orange gyms, and in the Orange League, you all deserve to be in the Hall of Fame."
Tracey: "And what's that statue doing here?"
(Tracey asks, looking at the Dragonite statue.)
The receptionist: "Oh, that's a Dragonite. The legendary Pokémon that guards this island,"
(The receptionist says.)
Mew: "Dragonite,"
(Mew says.)
Tracey: "I knew it!"
(Tracey says.)
(Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon and Flying Type. This extremely rare and highly intelligent dragon type is able to fly faster than any known Pokémon."
(Just then, Tracey remembers.)
Tracey: "Hey, I wonder if that huge flying thing we saw…"
(Then Tracey thinks back, wondering if what they have seen is a Dragonite.)
(Then the receptionist says.)
the receptionist: "Oh, that must've been the gym leader's Dragonite getting some exercise."
(This shocked everyone.)
Mew: "He has a Dragonite?!"
(Mew says, shocked.)
Misty: "No way!"
(Misty says.)
The receptionist: "Yes. Dragonite the reason nobody's ever beaten Drake,"
(The receptionist says.)
(Then says.)
The receptionist: "Well, good luck, Mew. Good luck."
(In the stadium, the Orange League leader, Drank is standing alone, looking at the Dragonite statue.)
(The man Drake has black back spike hair.)
(He's wearing blue jeans, black shoes, black shirt, black belt, black gloves, a dark red vest, and a Pokeball around his neck.)
(As he looks at the statue, Drake says.)
Drake: "I wonder if there'll ever be a challenger strong enough to triumph over us. I've heard that my next challenger is the recent winner from the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League. The youngest winner in the Kanto Region, and she's a very skilled trainer. I wonder if she'll be victorious against us."
(Just then, Dragonite comes in for a landing behind Drake.)
________________________________________
(Suddenly, Team Rocket begins to make themselves known.)
(Jessie is the first to say.)
Jessie: "Nice Dragonite!"
James: "Very nice!"
(James adds.)
(Drake and Dragonite turn their heads to see Team Rocket.)
Drake: "Is there something I can…"
(Drake questions.)
(And with that, Team Rocket performs the motto.)
Jessie: We want you to prepare for trouble.
James: And I suggest you make it double.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.
James: To unite all people within our nation.
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James: To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Team Rocket, Blast off at the speed of Light!
James: Surrender now, champ, or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!
Drake: "If you've come to battle me, you'll have to apply…"
(Drake says.)
(Jessie laughs and says.)
Jessie: "We wouldn't dream of battling the champion."
James: "Who cares about a trophy? We want your Dragonite!"
(James says.)
(Shocked, Drake replies.)
Drake: "You can't be serious."
(Jessie gets out her Pokeball.)
Jessie: "Deadly serious."
(James does the same.)
James: "Seriously deadly!"
Meowth: "Either way!"
(Meowth says.)
(Just then Drake says.)
Drake: "Dragonite, use your Hyper Beam."
(Dragonite's eyes begin to glow, catching Team Rocket off guard.)
(Dragonite then performs Hyper Beam and sends Team Rocket flying off again.)
Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"
(Team Rocket screams as they are blasting off again.)
(Meanwhile, at the Pokemon Center, Mew has a big decision to make for the Orange League Championship.)
(Jen walks to Mew and asks.)
Jen: "How are you doing?"
Mew: "Doing okay. Still trying to think on which Pokemon to choose for tomorrow's match. I have to use six of my Pokemon, but it's a hard decision. I mean, I'm already planning on having Pikachu and Eevee on my team, but I need six more."
(Mew says.)
(Misty and the others walk over to see Mew still thinking.)
Misty: "I'm sure you think of something. You have a wide variety of Pokemon."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "But it won't be easy, especially since we don't know which Pokemon the Orange League Leader is going to use,"
(Tomo says.)
Tracey: "Maybe Professor Oak has an idea,"
(Tracey says.)
Mew: "Sure. I'll give him a call,"
(Mew says.)
(Soon enough, Mew and the others call the professor and Mew explains to him the problem.)
Professor Oak: "Well, you have a big decision to make,"
(Professor Oak says.)
Mew: "I know. I'm not sure which Pokémon I want to use. I've already decided to use Pikachu and Eevee, but I can't decide on the fourth Pokemon,"
(Mew says.)
Tracey: "Yeah, and how do we figure out what Pokémon to pick when we don't even know which ones the gym leader gonna use?"
(Tracey says.)
Professor Oak: "Yes, what should you do?"
(Professor Oak says.)
(Then begins to give her some potion.)
Professor Oak: "Well, you could pick Kingler. It's huge claw won a victory for you in the Pokémon League. Then there's Muk, the amazing bulk that wilted Bellsprout if I recall correctly. Or you might choose Tauros, the snortin, stompin, stampedin, wild bull type. And you also have so many other Pokemon that will give you the advantage. So, which one is it gonna be?"
(Mew thinks and says.)
Mew: "Well, it's probably a good idea to have a different variety of Pokemon. In my case, I'll go with Charizard, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur."
Professor Oak: "And that's five Pokemon, now you just need your sixth,"
(Professor Oak says.)
Mew: "Hmm… I think I'll use Lapras too,"
(Mew says.)
Professor Oak: "That's a good idea,"
(Professor Oak says.)
(Then says.)
Professor Oak: "Just remember to leave the rest of your Pokeballs with Misty and use the six you're going to use."
Mew: "I will,"
(Mew says.)
Professor Oak: "Mew, I wish you the best of luck,"
(Professor Oak says.)
Mew: "Thanks,"
(Mew says.)
(Later in the evening, Team Rocket is walking along the beach after their embarrassing defeat.)
James: "That was embarrassing,"
(James says, embarrassed.)
(Then Jessie says.)
Jessie: "There's got to be some way to capture that Dragonite."
(Suddenly, they hear the announcer coming from a truck.)
announcer: "Bring your family, bring your friends to Pummelo Stadium tomorrow at 10:00 AM! Admission is free! Don't miss this exciting Pokémon event as a brand new challenger faces Drake for the Orange League grand trophy! "
(Soon, the civilians hear and see the barker go by as well.)
A man: "Hey, they finally found a challenger,"
(A man says.)
(Then the boy wonders.)
the boy: "I wonder if we get to see Dragonite!
(Just then, Meowth has an idea.)
Meowth: "I just got a great idea!"
Jessie: "Let's hear,"
(Jessie says.)
(Then Meowth explains.)
Meowth: "That Dragonite's too tough for us to capture, but not if we let that third challenger soften it up."
James: "Tell us more!"
(James says, excited.)
(Then Jessie asks.)
Jessie: "How are we going to do it?"
(Meowth then whispers his plan to the both.)
(James and Jessie says.)
James and Jessie: "Works for me."
(Then the three chuckles with glee.)
(The next day, the crowd is cheering in excitement.)
(as today is Mew's Orange Island League Challenge against Drake, the leader of the Orange Crew.)
(Soon the announcer says.)
the announcer: "Welcome, Pokémon fans! Pummelo Stadium is pulsing with excitement as we get set for the first Orange League competition of the season! Entering the arena is Drake, leader of the Orange Crew and the undefeated Pummelo Island gym leader! Opposing him from Pallet Town, is Mew, the youngest Kanto Pokemon League Champion, who hopes to break Drake's winning streak and earn her the coveted winner's trophy and a permanent place in the Orange League Hall of Fame!"
(Drake and Mew then approach each other.)
Mew: "I sure have heard a lot about you,"
(Mew says.)
_______________________________________
(Soon, both trainers shake hands.)
The announcer: "The trainers begin with the traditional handshake,"
(The announcer says.)
Drake: "Welcome to Pummelo gym, Mew, and the Orange League winner's trophy match,"
(Drake says.)
Mew: "I'm real happy to be here, Drake,"
(Mew says.)
Drake: "You must be an excellent trainer to have made it here, Mew,"
(Drake says.)
(Then asks.)
Drake: "Are you ready to battle?"
Mew: "Yeah!"
(Mew answers.)
(And with that, both trainers are set and ready for battle.)
(The referee says.)
The referee: "This is a full six on six Pokémon battle, when three of one trainer's Pokémon are unable to battle, there'll be a field change."
Mew: "What's a field change?"
(Mew says, confused.)
(Mew soon receives her answer as the battlefield opens and begins to transform.)
The referee: "A field change, like what you saw in the two battles from yesterday, is a transformation of the battle area. The gym leader is forbidden to switch Pokémon during battle, but the challenger may switch Pokémon at any time,"
(The referee explains.)
(Soon, the battlefield becomes rocky terrain with a pool in the middle of the field.)
The announcer: "The battle will begin on a rock and water field!"
(The announcer says.)
(Then the referee says.)
the referee: "This winner's trophy match is about to begin. So, choose your Pokémon and good luck to you both."
(Those who aren't able to get in the stadium are watching from a big screen around the island.)
(Team Rocket is also watching and becomes shocked to see Mew on the big screen.)
The announcer: "And now, we'll see which Pokémon the trainers choose. An important decision which could give us an idea of the strategies these opponents are planning!"
(The announcer says.)
James: "I can't believe this!"
(James says, shocked.)
Jessie: "The challenger is the twerp!"
(Jessie says.)
Meowth: "This makes things more interesting,"
(Meowth replies.)
(Soon, both trainers are on the battlefield on their specific side.)
(The bell rings and the match begins.)
Drake: "I hope this one leaves a good impression!"
(Drake says.)
(Then throws his Pokeball. Out of the Pokeball is Ditto.)
Mew: "It's a Ditto!"
(Mew says.)
The announcer: "Orange Crew leader Drake has made Ditto his first choice! Transform is Ditto's one and only technique, but this Pokémon turns its opponent's strengths into its own, which can be devastating!"
(The announcer says.)
Misty: "Ditto will just imitate any Pokémon Mew uses,"
(Misty says.)
Tracey: "Ditto's tricky. This ain't gonna be an easy one,"
(Tracey says.)
Tomo: "And right off the bat,"
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "I agree,"
(Jen says.)
The announcer: "Now, let's see which of his six Pokémon the challenger will choose,"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew turns to Pikachu.)
Mew: "Pikachu, I'm gonna start off with you, okay?"
Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Let's do it!)
(Pikachu says.)
(Then Mew says.)
Mew: "Then let's do this and win that trophy!"
(Pikachu then dashes onto the battlefield.)
The announcer: "The challenger has chosen Pikachu, an electric Pokémon who looks charged up and ready for battle!"
(The announcer says.)
Misty: "You can do it, Pikachu!"
(Misty cheers.)
Tomo and Jen: "Go Pikachu!"
(Tomo and Jen cheers.)
(Drake soon calls out the first move.)
Drake: "Ditto, Transform!"
(Ditto transforms into Pikachu.)
The announcer: "Ditto has Transformed into a Pikachu!"
(The announcer says.)
Mew: "Let's go, Pikachu! Use your Thunder!"
(Mew calls out.)
(Pikachu performs the attack and lands on Ditto, but Ditto is taking the attack.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "And it's a high flying, high voltage Thunder attack from Pikachu, but Ditto's taking every jolt and every volt! Despite the super shock, Ditto's still standing strong!"
(Drake then calls out.)
Drake: "Ditto, Thunder attack back!"
(Ditto then launches the Thunder of its own.)
The announcer: "Now Ditto's Thundering Pikachu, but Pikachu proves it can take the heat!"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, Thunder Shock attack!"
Drake: "Ditto, use your Thunder Shock attack, now!"
(Drake calls out.)
(Soon, both attacks are fired and collide in a struggle.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "This pumped pair of Pokémon is pouring on the power! Something's gotta give!"
(Right on cue, the rock Pikachu is standing on gives in.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, look out!"
(Soon, the rock Ditto is on gives in as well.)
(Then Drake says.)
Drake: "We got him now, Ditto! You know what to do!"
(Ditto in Pikachu is able to bounce off the rocks, but Mew's Pikachu falls and collides to the ground.)
(Then announcer says.)
Then announcer: "The battleground's crumbling beneath them! Ditto's navigating the rocks and debris with ease, but it seems that Mew's Pikachu just doesn't have the knack for playing the field!"
(After landing on the ground, Pikachu struggles to get up.)
(Mew cries out.)
Mew: "Pikachu!"
The announcer: "Well, fans, it seems that the Orange Crew leader may have already won this round! Choosing Ditto was a strategy we've seen Drake win with before! Some challengers never get past this terrific transformer!"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, are you okay?
(Pikachu then begins to get up.)
Mew: "There's gotta be some way to beat that Ditto!"
(Mew says to herself.)
_______________________________________
(Just then, Misty calls out.)
Misty: "Mew, quick! You better switch to another Pokémon!"
Mew: "I don't think that's gonna work! Ditto will transform and copy everything we do!"
(Mew says.)
(Then the announcer says.)
the announcer: "After facing Ditto, previous challengers have lost their cool seeing all their own Pokémon's hard earned attacks and abilities thrown right back at them! Many trainers panicked and made major errors against Ditto. Errors that ultimately cost them the winner's trophy."
(Tracey calls out.)
Tracey: "Mew! You gotta stay focused!"
(Mew narrows her eyes.)
Mew: "Well, I know one thing. They can copy Pikachu, but there's nothing like the real thing!"
(Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Ditto, use Agility, now!"
(Ditto begins to dash forward.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, use your Thunderbolt attack!"
(Pikachu launches the attack.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "The challenger's trying a different attack!"
(Pikachu fires the attack, but Ditto doges each bolt, shocking Pikachu and Mew.)
The announcer: "Ditto dodges Pikachu's Thunderbolts and keeps on coming!"
(The announcer says.)
(Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Ditto, Thunder attack, now!"
(Ditto fires the Thunder Attack.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Look out!"
(Pikachu quickly drops to his stomach and lets the attack hit his tail.)
(carrying it to the ground and not harming Pikachu.)
The announcer: "Pikachu's hanging on despite Ditto's Thunder!"
(The announcer says.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, use your Quick Attack!"
(Pikachu dashes forward.)
(Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Ditto, use your Quick Attack, too!"
(Ditto performs Quick Attack as well.)
(Both Pokemon collide with electrical force.)
The announcer: "Those two are really turning up the juice!"
(The announcer says.)
(Both Pokemon fall down to the ground, and Pikachu gets up first.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Okay, Pikachu, give it all you've got!"
(Pikachu then lets his electrical power surge through his tail.)
The announcer: "Pikachu's electricity is devastating Ditto!"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew then calls out.)
Mew: "Now!"
(And with that, Pikachu smacks Ditto with an electrical slap of his tail, knocking Ditto down.)
(Soon, Ditto transforms back to its original form and is knocked out cold.)
The announcer: "Pikachu's Shocking Tale may have stopped the Ditto Show!"
(The announcer says.)
(Seeing the result the referee says.)
the referee: "Ditto is unable to battle! Pikachu is the winner!"
(Then the announcer says.)
the announcer: "The first victory goes to challenger Mew and Pikachu!"
Mew: "Alright! I knew it! I knew Pikachu could hang in there and beat that Ditto!"
(Mew happily cheers.)
(Misty cheers.)
Misty: "Way to go!"
Tomo: "Alright Pikachu!"
(Tomo cheers.)
Jen: "Go Mew!"
(Jen cheers.)
(The other Pokemon are cheering as well.)
(Then Tracey says.)
Tracey: "Oh, I get it! Ditto may be able to imitate attacks, but it can't control or change its basic physical condition! Ditto got worn out because Pikachu's in better shape!"
Drake: "Ditto, return!"
(Then Drake calls back Ditto.)
Drake: "You did a great job,"
(Drake says to his Pokeball.)
(Then turns to Mew.)
Drake: "And so did you, Mew!"
(and then throws the next Pokeball.)
Drake: "But this next one's gonna rock you!"
(Out of Drake's next Pokeball is Onix, the announcer says.)
the announcer: "For his second Pokémon, Drake has chosen Onix, a rock type that's strong against electric attacks. Let's see how Mew responds."
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "You battled enough for today, Pikachu!"
(Pikachu then returns to Mew as the announcer says.)
the announcer: "The challenger is recalling Pikachu for a well deserved rest."
(Once Pikachu returns, Mew rubs his head and lets him know that he has done a good job.)
(Mew then throws the next Pokeball.)
Mew: "Against a rock type, I choose you!"
(And Squirtle comes out of the Pokeball.)
(Piakchu calls out.)
Piakchu: "Pika Pika!" (Get him, Squirtle!)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (You can do it, Squirtle!)
(Eevee calls out.)
Squirtle: "Squirtle!" (No prob!)
(Squirtle says.)
(Then the announcer says,)
the announcer: "An easy choice for Mew as she selects water type Squirtle to go up against the Onix!"
Drake: "That's just what I thought she'd do,"
(Drake says.)
Tracey: "I don't know, you guys, this one could go either way,"
(Tracey says.)
(Then Misty cheers.)
Misty: "Come on, Squirtle! Get out there and win this one for all the water Pokémon!"
Jen: "You go Squirtle!"
(Jen calls out.)
Tomo: "Soak that Onix!"
(Tomo cheers.)
The announcer: "Judging by type, Squirtle has the advantage, but Onix is a rock solid battler!"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Squirtle, use your Water Gun attack!"
Drake: "Onix, you know what to do!"
(Drake calls out.)
(Onix then tunnels underground as Squirtle performs Water Gun.)
Mew: "Where'd it go!"
(Mew says.)
The announcer: "It a lightning show of speed, Onix has slithered away from Squirtle's Water Gun and burrowed beneath the battlefield!"
(The announcer says.)
(Tracey calls out.)
Tracey: "Watch out! That Onix is gonna try to attack Squirtle from underground!"
Misty: "What do they do, now?"
(Misty asks.)
The announcer: "And now, Onix has the advantage as Squirtle nervously awaits its reappearance,"
(The announcer says.)
(Squirtle searches around for Onix and worries it will appear beneath his feet.)
(Soon, they hear the ground shaking, indicating that Onix is about to reappear.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Quick, Squirtle, go dive into the water! Onix won't be able to find you there!"
(Hearing Mew, Squirtle rushes to the water as the announcer says.)
the announcer: "Squirtle is attempting to avoid Onix by heading for the water!"
(Just then, Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Onix, now!"
(Onix then comes out of the ground and sends Squirtle flying.)
The announcer: "There it is! Onix has smashed through, stunning Squirtle and sending it flying!"
(The announcer says.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Squirtle, get to that pool before Onix attacks!"
(But Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Onix, Bind Squirtle, now!"
(Squirtle tries to run down Onix's back, but Onix grabs Squirtle with its tail and Binds him.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Water Gun, now!"
(But Squirtle is able to do an attack.)
The announcer: "Onix is putting the squeeze on Squirtle! Squirtle's squirming, but it can't seem to use it's Water Gun attack!"
(The announcer says.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Protect yourself! Withdrawal!"
(Squirtle withdrawals into his Shell.)
The announcer: "Squirtle has shrunk back into its shell!"
(The announcer says.)
(With confidence, Drake says.)
Drake: "This round goes to me."
(But Mew says.)
Mew: "This round isn't up yet! No matter how fast Onix is, Squirtle has the advantage!"
(And calls out.)
Mew: "Squirtle, Hydro Pump attack, now!"
(Squirtle then fires the attack and it hits Onix in the face.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "Squirtle is battling back by blasting a shocked and surprised Onix with its Hydro Pump!"
(Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Onix, dive underground again and get away from that attack!"
(Onix is unable to escape the Hydro Pump Attack.)
(And then, Squirtle begins to spin around while using the Hydro Pump, breaking free from the Bind Attack.)
The announcer: "This is amazing! Squirtle's Hydro Pump has broke the hold on him by Onix! The stone snake is stopped in its tracks!"
(The announcer says.)
(Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Onix, look out!"
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Okay, Squirtle, use your Skull Bash attack!"
(Squirtle then uses Skull Bash Attack and lands right behind Onix's head with full force.)
(Soon, Onix is knocked out by the hard blow.)
The announcer: "A knockout move! That Skull Bash move just turned out the lights and it looks like nighty-night for Onix!"
(The announcer says.)
(As Onix falls to the ground, Squirtle falls to the ground as well, but is still standing.)
(The Referee announces.)
The Referee: "Onix is unable to battle! Squirtle is the winner!"
Mew: "Squirtle, you did it!"
(Mew happily cheers and calls out.)
Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Nice work, pal!)
(Pikachu calls out.)
(Eevee calls out.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Nice shot, Squirtle!)
(Misty cheers.)
Misty: "Yay!"
(Tomo cheers.)
Tomo: "Alright!"
Jen: "You go, Squirtle!"
(Jen calls out.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "that is the second consecutive defeat for Drake!"
Drake: "I thought for sure Bind attack would stop Squirtle,"
(Drake says, surprised, but also impressed.)
(Then calls back his Pokemon.)
Drake: "Onix, return, now!"
(Then Onix is called back into the Pokeball.)
(At the same time, the audience ponders what has happened.)
?: Drake lost again.
?: That Mew kid isn't bad.
?: Yeah.
?: I heard she's the youngest trainer to win in the Indigo Plateau League.
?: She must be pretty skilled and strong.
?: Very impressive.
(Then Drake says to Mew.)
Drake: "Well, Mew, so far you've beaten two of my Pokémon. But this time, you don't stand a ghost of a chance!"
(Then throws his Pokeball, and Gengar comes out.)
Mew: "Gengar?!"
(Mew says, surprised.)
(Then the announcer says.)
the announcer: "Drake has chosen the ghost Pokémon, Gengar!"
Misty: "Gengar's gonna be tough,"
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "Yeah. That Gengar looks pretty strong,"
(Tomo says.)
(Then Tracey calls out.)
Tracey: "Squirtle's worn, Mew! You better rest it!"
(Agreeing to the idea, Mew calls back Squirtle.)
Mew: "Squirtle, return!"
(Then Squirtle returns to his Pokeball.)
Mew: "You were great,"
(Mew says, and puts Squirtle's Pokeball away.)
The announcer: "Which Pokemon will Mew select next?"
(The announcer questions.)
Tracey: "Watch out! There aren't any Pokémon that are really strong against ghost types like Gengar!"
(Tracey calls out.)
Mew: "That's right!"
(Mew agrees.)
(She holds out her Pokeball.)
Mew: "I have an idea on which one, but it's going to be risky."
(Then Mew throws her Pokeball and calls out.)
Mew: "I choose you, Lapras!"
(And with that, Lapras lets out a cry as he lands in the lake.)
Drake: "Ah, good move, Mew,"
(Drake says.)
(Then the announcer says.)
the announcer: "Mew is going with Lapras!
(Then Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Gengar, use your Hypnosis!"
(Gengar then performs Hypnosis.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Lapras, get away!"
(Lapras dives underwater.)
The announcer: "It looks like Lapras escapes Hypnosis by diving underwater,"
(The announcer says.)
(As Gengar lands on the rock, Lapras surfaces.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Lapras, Water Gun attack!"
(Lapras performs the attack and it lands on Gengar square on its face.)
The announcer: "Lapras hits its mark and that Water Gun is getting to Gengar!"
(The announcer says.)
(Then Gengar leaps out of the way.)
(Then Drake calls out.)
Drake: "Gengar, Night Shade attack!"
Mew: "Lapras, use your Ice Beam attack, fast!"
(Mew calls out.)
(Gengar performs Night Shade as Lapras performs Ice Beam.)
(then both attacks collide.)
(Soon, the colliding attack grows bigger and bigger.)
(The announcer says.)
The announcer: "The power from these two super attacks is building up!"
(Just then, the arena fills with a bright flash of light from both attacks.)
(Mew cries out.)
Mew: "Lapras, no!"
(Drake and the rest of the gang are left in shock.)
(The Pokemon's powerful, dramagic attack collides with one another and explodes as a result.)
(When the smoke clears, which one will be left standing?)
(Gengar, or Lapras? Who would be the victor of this round?)
