Arius to the Rescue

Soon as Arius and Bane materialised in the western city he marched him into a cemetery? They headed to the center into a crypt that required Arius darkness to unlock the door, inside there was no tomb but a stairwell heading underground. Arius ushered Bane down the stairs, once at the bottom of the stairwell Bane looked around. It was dark even with flame torches lighting the walls it was like a long cold stone hallway. Shit! Bane thought "It's a Dungeon! You really know how to accomodate your guests huh?" He laughs "A little mediocre don't you think?" Arius turned to him and lowered his hood his eyes fully black, his voice distorted and sounding like death "Be grateful that you're still alive after what happened tonight, pray that you live beyond tomorrow." Bane held his hands up in surrender closing his mouth.

Arius snaps his fingers and two shadowy guards looking like Anubis materialise on either side of Bane. "I must warn you, they will stay with you till I call them off. Even if you left this island they would follow you, think of it as a curse you can never be rid of." With the whites of his eyes returning Arius turns to leave before he could take his first step up the stairwell. Bane yells from his cell the guards had just put him in "Well I know one thing for sure, I will live past tomorrow you'll need me after all. I guarantee it, just make sure your puppies behave in the meantime." With that Bane turns to settle on the bed in the cell "Thank you the beds are comfier than those on the ship, don't ask me about keeping up appearances either you'll all have me figured out soon you're a powerful lot after all!"

Arius just continued up the stairwell saying nothing, the moment he laid eyes on this man he didn't like him. It was why he was so rude and blunt with the others when they arrived the stench of evil was on him something he had done prior to coming to the island. Darkness was Arius after all people full of darkness couldn't hide from him, it was why he took this man away from his family as fast as he could. They didn't need to worry about him everyone could rest well tonight, sealing the stairwell and then the doorway before leaving Arius headed back to his estate knowing his family would be fast asleep.

Arius showered and switched to his human form, not much of a difference for him his eyes just go brown, so every month he bleached his hair to look different. He always switched forms at home, his boys were always scared of his black eyes he didn't blame them. Jumping into his bed cuddling up to his wife, he drifted off to sleep. "Arius…" his eyebrow twitched "Arius….please.." did something wet just hit my face he thought frowning "Help me!" With that Arius shot up from his bed something wet falling from his face. His entire upper body drenched in sweat, his wife seems frantic and is saying something to him but he can't hear her. He looks around and suddenly stops to the right of him, then nods and says "okay I'm coming!" With that his hearing came back and the fever left him. He could now hear that his wife was crying.

Arius quickly moved to hug her "hey it's okay" he cooed. "Your… your tempera…" Arius wipes her tears "calm down, I'm okay" once she's calm she explains "You became so hot your body started to burn mine, that's what woke me up. I saw you were drenched in sweat and tried to wake you. But then you shot straight up and your eyes they were pitch black." She starts sobbing again. With a sigh Arius says to her "I'm sorry I frightened you, but I must go. Something has happened to Leora". His wife becoming upset says "Why are you always in danger when it comes to helping Leora? It's 5am you haven't slept much and you had a fever." Shaking his head Arius replies "It's my sister, you knew what you signed up for when you married me. I'm sorry, I'll explain when I return. I love you." Leaving her with a kiss on her forehead he quickly gets up to shower and put on his uniform then disappears into the dark.

Apparating into Leora's room he see's his mother asleep on the sofa next to Leora's bed. "Why am I not surprised to see her here" he whispers careful not to wake her up. Walking up beside Leora's bed he notices some water on her bedside table. He looks to her feet and sees two pieces of wet cloth wrapped around her ankles "Looks like mums been trying to help you huh? Aren't you lucky? It's a pity it won't help" reaching out his hand and placing it on her forehead he hisses pulling it away. "Shit explains my fever, how the hell were you able to reach me if all your energy is going into fighting this?" Arius walks into Leora's bathroom and comes out with a flannel dripping with water as he places it on her head Leora let's out a contented sigh.

Lifting his head to look up at his mother who was now awake, looking drained and tired "you need rest ma" rubbing her eyes she replied "I am not leaving her side, I didn't see it Arius not till it was already done and I cannot see anything else. Frowning Arius said "what do you mean you didn't see it? Ma what's going on?". Wiping the lone tear that fell from her eye, "I didn't see this happening to Leora until after it had passed and I cannot see into her future!" His heartbeat picked up becoming alarmed "I won't let anything happen to her ma, our powers are intertwined. Wait for me, we will need Imala and Reign for this". Looking defeated Aeon simply said "Then I will leave it to you". With that Arius Apparated to the North side of the Island.
