Chapter 19

Isa expertly chopped vegetables, her apron stained with flour and spices. Ivy stood beside her, trying to help.

"Isa, remember when you use to sing infront of a crowd?" Ivy asked, her eyes sparkling with hope.

Isa's hands paused, her mind foggy. "Ivy, I told you to stop. I'm trying to focus on cooking."

Ivy's face fell, but she persisted. "But Isa, you're Aria. You have to remember."

Isa's warning glance silenced Ivy. Just then, Mrs. Hilda entered the kitchen, a elegant box in her hands.

"Isa, dear, I brought you something," Mrs. Hilda said, her smile warm.

Isa wiped her hands on her apron, curious. Inside the box lay a stunning white dress, intricate lace and delicate embroidery adorning its hem.

"Mrs. Hilda, it's beautiful," Isa breathed.

"I want you to wear it to the party tonight," Mrs. Hilda said, her eyes kind. "You may not be part of our family, Isa, but you're dear to us. Join us, please."

Isa's heart swelled with gratitude. No one had shown her such kindness in a long time.

She nodded and left, Telling Ivy to finish up the cooking.

(Isa went to her room to change)

Isa. gazed in the mirror, stunned by her reflection. The white dress hugged her curves, and her hair cascaded down her back like silk. She felt like a stranger, yet somehow, it felt right.

A soft voice behind her said, "You look beautiful."

Isa spun around, but there was no one there. She turned back to the mirror, and that's when she saw him - a young man with warm brown eyes, standing behind her.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist, his touch sending shivers down her spine. "You're stunning," he whispered.

As he leaned in closer, his breath caressed her ear, "Aria..."

Isa's heart skipped a beat. How did he know her name?

He began styling her hair, his fingers weaving a gentle magic. He fastened a delicate white necklace around her neck, his touch sparking a sense of familiarity.

As soon as he finished, Isa turned to thank him, but he was gone. Vanished.

Flashes of Liam flooded her mind - fragments of memories, whispers of a love she couldn't quite recall. The images swirled, making her head spin, and her stomach churn.

Isa rushed to the restroom, her hand covering her mouth. She vomited, her body shaking, as the memories threatened to surface.

She collapsed onto the floor, her head in her hands, trying to calm herself. But the flashes persisted, taunting her with glimpses of a past she couldn't quite grasp.

As the guests chatted and sipped their drinks, Jack and Allison made their way downstairs, hand in hand. Allison's black gown shimmered in the light, her baby bump proudly on display. Jack's eyes shone with love and adoration as he gazed at her.

The room fell silent as they reached the bottom of the stairs. Mrs. Hilda and Mr. Edward beamed with pride, while Jack's grandparents smiled warmly.

Allison's eyes sparkled with happiness as she took in the sea of white-clad guests. She knew this was a celebration of their love and the new life growing inside her.

As they reached their seats, Jack's hand rested tenderly on Allison's stomach. "Soon, we'll meet our little one," he whispered, his voice filled with excitement.

Allison's smile faltered for a moment, a flicker of uncertainty crossing her face. But then, she nodded, her eyes locking onto Jack's. "Soon," she echoed.

The ceremony began, with Mrs. Hilda leading the guests in a heartfelt toast to the expecting couple. As the celebration unfolded, Allison's doubts lingered, hidden beneath her radiant smile.

Ivy and Daniel mingled with the guests, but their minds were elsewhere. "Have you seen Isa?" Ivy asked, scanning the room.

Daniel shook his head. "I thought she was with you."

Ivy's brow furrowed. "I haven't seen her since she went to get ready."

They exchanged a concerned glance and decided to search for her. Leaving the party, they made their way to the restroom, calling out her name.

As they entered, they were met with a distressing sight: Aria lay unconscious on the floor, her dress rumpled and her hair disheveled. Ivy rushed to her side, shouting, "Aria!"

Daniel quickly pulled out his phone and dialed the city hospital. "We need a doctor"

Doctor Max answered, and Daniel briefed him on the situation. "I'm on my way," Max said, already moving.

"Sarah, I have to go," Max called out to his colleague. "Emergency at the Hilda's residence."

Sarah nodded, taking over his tasks. "Be careful, Max."

Max rushed out of the hospital, his mind racing with possibilities. What could have caused Aria to collapse?

As he arrived at the Hilda's residence, he saw Ivy and Daniel anxiously waiting. "What happened?" Max asked, kneeling beside Aria.

Ivy explained, "We found her like this. We don't know what's wrong."

Max quickly examined Aria, checking her pulse and breathing. "We need to get her to the hospital, now."

With Daniel's help, they carefully lifted Aria and rushed her to the hospital, leaving the party and its festivities behind.

Daniel carefully lifted Aria into his car, ensuring her comfort and safety. Ivy followed close behind, her eyes fixed on her friend's fragile form.

As Daniel drove, Ivy trailed behind in her own vehicle, her mind racing with worries.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Daniel gently carried Aria inside, Ivy rushing to join them. Doctor Max greeted them, his expression stern with concern.

"Please, wait outside," Max instructed, as he led Aria's gurney into the treatment room.

Daniel nodded, his eyes brimming with tears. "Please, save her."

Ivy wrapped a reassuring arm around Ivy's shoulders. "We'll get through this."

As they waited, Daniel paced anxiously, her thoughts consumed by Aria's condition. Daniel tried to calm her, but his own worries were evident.

Meanwhile, inside the treatment room, Max and his team worked swiftly to stabilize Aria's condition. Monitors beeped, machines hummed, and the scent of disinfectant filled the air.

Here's the continuation:

Jack scanned the room, his eyes searching for a familiar face. "Where's Isa?" he asked, his voice low and curious.

Allison's expression turned icy as she approached him. "You mean Aria?" she said, her tone dripping with annoyance.

Jack's gaze narrowed. "What do you mean? I'm asking about Isa."

Allison's smile was tight. "You're thinking of Isa because she looks like Aria, but let me tell you, Jack, Isa is Aria."

Jack was pretending as if he doesn't know that Isa is Aria, so that Allison won't think he still has feelings for her.

Jack's eyes widen in shock. "What are you talking about?

Allison figured that he was pretending and Lying like he didn't know that Isa is Aria. She decided to change the topic.

Allison's eyes locked onto Jack's, her expression a mix of concern and warning. "You still have feelings for her, don't you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jack's gaze faltered, his thoughts betraying him. He couldn't deny the truth – a part of him still loved Aria.

Allison's face fell, her shoulders sagging in defeat. "I knew it," she whispered. "You're still in love with her."

Leah and Leo exchanged worried glances, sensing the tension between Jack and Allison.

Aria, still recovering in the hospital, remained oblivious to the emotional turmoil brewing around her.

As the baby shower party continued, the atmosphere grew strained, with Jack's unresolved feelings for Aria casting a shadow over the celebration

Back at th hospital Max's voice was calm and focused as he directed his team. "Let's get her vitals stabilized. We need to ensure the baby's safety as well."

The medical team nodded, moving with precision and speed. Aria's fragile form lay motionless on the bed, surrounded by the beeping machines and sterile equipment.

Daniel paced outside, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. Ivy tried to comfort him.

Suddenly, the treatment room door opened, and Max emerged, his expression serious. "We're doing everything we can. I'll keep you updated."

Ivy's eyes searched his face for any glimmer of hope, whether her friend is okay or not.

Max's expression softened. "We're fighting to save both Aria and the baby. Let's take it one step at a time.

Ivy's eyes widened in shock. "Baby? What do you mean?"

Doctor Jame's expression turned gentle. "Aria is pregnant. Approximately four weeks along."

Daniel's jaw dropped. "Pregnant? But...how?"

He explained, "It seems Aria underwent an IVF treatment with Aiden. We're assuming the pregnancy resulted from that procedure."

Ivy's mind reeled. "IVF? But she never told us..."

Daniel's eyes narrowed. "And what about the mix-up with the samples? Could that have something to do with this?"

Jame's nodded. "We're investigating the possibility. It's possible the wrong sample was used, resulting in a pregnancy with...unexpected parentage."

Daniel's voice trembled. "What does this mean for Aria? And the baby?"

Jame's expression turned serious. "We'll need to monitor Aria's health closely. The pregnancy complicates her condition, but we'll do everything to ensure the best outcome for both Aria and the baby."

As the news sank in, Ivy and Daniel exchanged stunned glances. Aria's secrets had been revealed, hoping that she will be fine.

Doctor Max dragged Sarah to a corner, his voice low and urgent. "We need to discuss the IVF treatment Aria and Aiden underwent."

Sarah nodded, her eyes wide with concern. "I know, but do we tell Daniel and Ivy about the baby Aria's carrying?"

Max hesitated. "We should, but it's a delicate situation. Aria's condition is fragile, and this news could compromise her recovery."

Sarah frowned. "But they have a right to know. Aiden's involved, and...there's more."

Max raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Sarah glanced around nervously before whispering, "Aiden's not the biological father don't you remember. It was a mix-up at the fertility clinic."

Max's expression turned grave. "This changes everything. We can't keep this secret forever."

As they debated, Ivy and Daniel waited anxiously outside, sensing something was amiss.
