Showdown (Part 3)

Further away from the thunder of dragons. 6 people slowly regained their senses. One wearing a white shining armor rose to his feet and looked around. Trying to make sense of the situation. He was in his guild's guild base.

He ran over to a nearby window frantically searching for even the most vain hope of familiarity. When an undead wearing some fancy equipment himself walked up next to him. He found nothing familiar, just a mildly barren landscape.

"It doesn't look good does it, Kikotenshin?"

"Do you recognize where we are, Surshana?"

The undead chuckled for a moment and then let out a sigh.

"You just as much as I do, guild master, so why ask me?"

"Consider it vain… Hope… Say, what exactly is that light over there? It's too faint for me to tell from here."

"It sort of looks like the glow of druidic super tier spells. I'll take a look."

The guild members were surprised for a moment.

"Druidic super tier magic… That would really bring down the number of possibilities to a handful maybe double that? But Night Silver is on that list either way. Her and that freakish double casting of Super Tier Magic she manages to pull off."

"Ah, and now I feel an affinity with this other light that seems layered on it. That settles it. That is without a doubt the Druid of Night Silver. The only druid… Player to survive even full guild raids on her. Seriously, how did she manage that? Any ideas Alah Alaf?"

"All I can say is that there is likely some extra information she was privy to during the game's runtime. But we shouldn't be focused on that now."

"That's right. If it's her then she might know more about our situation. Even if it isn't much we could at least make mutually beneficial bonds…" The sound of numerous dragons roaring in unison came through in a low roar. "That… Changes things. Investigate her circumstances. And everyone checks your gear. We're likely going to lend some combat aid."

"Yes guild master!"

Alah Alaf and Surshana used their own investigative abilities to inspect the battlefield. Their hearts sunk as they noticed the fight. In the center of a thunder of dragons was one simply massive dragon. One so large it made World Class Enemies look small.

On the ground there were already more than a few smaller dragons dead. The more curious thing about this was that the monsters… dragons in this case hadn't disappeared yet. Such a curious thing was enough to cause their heads to ache with pain.

On the edge they saw that there was a dragon with all of the hallmarks of super tier magic. Alah Alaf and Surshana shuddered, knowing full well there was only one player who could pull that off. So even if there had been any question about it… There was none any longer.

"It's not like her to allow herself to be viewed by magic though? Wait, how are we even able to use it?"

"It doesn't matter at this point. Right now there is a person who might have some answers for us. Our NPCs can handle things here. Shurshana summon a couple elder litches for some added security. Just in case… No, each of us, let's summon one elemental to put here."

"What about the siege golem?"

"We're taking her with us. Now, are you all ready? Let's go kill a world level boss."

"Summon Elemental 10th Earth Elemental!"

"Summon Elemental 10th Fire Elemental!"

"Summon Elemental 10th Water Elemental!"

"Summon Elemental 10th Wind Elemental!"

"Stay here and guard the guild base. Do not attack unless attacked." The four who could summon elementals said before turning to leave.

"Ready then?"

"Yeah, I can feel my abilities and magic skills. It might take a little getting used too but it won't lower our ability to fight."

"You know, I haven't yet met this druid, is she a nice person?" The water magic user asked, curious about this person they were now flying over to help.

"Well, I don't know how to explain it but… I'm pretty sure I can say she is fair. Not many people liked it when she hiked up prices for her items when the 1500 person raid against Ainz Ooal Gown. But it's not like they needed to worry about the price."

"As much as that guild was terrible, 1500 people going after it at once seems a bit overkill. I would have done the same thing that the Druid of Night Silver did. This is a game after all. It's meant to have fun. Don't like something about it, don't play it? But don't team up so large that there's no challenge."

"Surshana… Did you forget that Ainz Ooal Gown still won in the end? A force so strong they could fight 30 World Class Enemies at once and come out victorious… Was annihilated on that floor… That terrible… Terrible floor."

"Yeah, I'm glad we didn't participate in that battle. Much better watching others fail at it than to fail at it ourselves."

The 6 players and 1 siege golem were within detection range of Night Silver now. Within earshot distance. Kikotenshin and his guild arrived on scene.

The dragon emperor tried to launch and attack towards Night Silver once again. His instincts were screaming that the spell she was preparing would be deadly. By this time though there was only one dragon left on defense. And just as it was preparing to sacrifice its life in the vain hope the spell would come soon.

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED DIVINE ART 10TH PALADIN"S DEFENSE SHIELD!"

Just as the attack was about to hit this terrified yet brave dragon, its body was shining like platinum… A shield a meter thick and 50 meters in length and width appeared in front of him. Saving him from immediate disaster.

"MOVE AWAY!"

This Platinum Dragon got out of the way, after hearing the familiar voice that Night Silver had.

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED MAGIC WALL OF STONE!"

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED MAGIC WALL OF FIRE!"

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED MAGIC WALL OF SKELETON!"

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED MAGIC ICE WALL!"

"TRIPLE MAXIMIZED BOOSTED MAGIC BULWARK OF LIGHT!"

When the platinum dragon was far enough away the layers of defense he witnessed were mind boggling. He then glanced in the direction the voice's came from. "Human's and… An undead? With something else?"

That something else dropped down to the ground and began a full sprint towards the Dragon Emperor. This was their siege golem. A small one but mighty all the same. Having closed the distance in a matter of a few moments. It came to a complete stop.

"Initiating… Successful." The golem spoke.

With a powerful rump from underneath the dragon emperor's jaw, she slammed its jaw shut with a double fisted punch. It looked like she was imitating a superhero from a bygone era, one that flew with both arms stretched out in front of him.
