From Alicia to Alicia

"Hi,

diary, today was school, it was great! But...today...JUPITER HAS BEEN CLOSEST

TO EARTH IN THE LAST 59 YEARS! It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience! But sadly

no one has seen any signs of Jupiter, because of the clouds...I'm so sad. But

I'm glad I get to experience Jupiter being so close to Earth! Oh, how glad I am

to be living up to this era!". Closes book. "Alicia!" Mom calls.  "I can't Mom I'm trying to see Jupiter from

here!" I complain. "Can you stop talking about Jupiter for a second!" Seth

complains. "Oh, you be quiet.". I complain. "Oh no! It's already 1 am!" I yell.

Door opens. "I brought letters from the mailbox!" Stiley announced. "Alicia,

where are you going?" Stiley questions. "To bed!" I shouted! "What do I do with

your letters?". Stiley asks. "Leave them on my desk!" I answer. "Alrig-" "Oh!

Let me know if you see Jupiter!" I interrupt Stiley. My eyes feel heavy as soon

as I lay down on the bed, falling into deep slumber. Alarm ringing. I yawn.

"Ugh, what is the time" I gasp. "I'm late!" I shouted. As I rush downstairs, I

look for everyone. "Seth! Why didn't you wake me up?!", I complained. "Guess who

saw Jupiter!", Seth teases. "HUH?!" I question. "Yup, I experienced the once-in-a-lifetime

chance to see Jupiter with my bare eyes!" Seth brags. "I told you to wake me up

to see it!" I cry. "Also, Stiley and Ray woke you up for school, but not for

Jupiter." Seth laughs. "I am telling Mom!" I cry. "She's outside.", Seth says.  "Gosh look at the time!", "I'm

late!", I shout. "That's not new Alicia!", Seth annoys me. "Oh, there were

letters on my desk!", I grabbed the letters and put them in my bag to read them

later and leave on my way to school. "Sorry, Mr. Mark I'm late!", I apologize.

"Take a seat, Alicia". Mr. Mark commands. "Thanks, Mr. Mark!", the bell

rings. Students cheering. "Alicia don't be late next time!", Mr. Mark demands.

"Alicia!" My friend calls. "Noorah!" I smiled. "Hey, I was looking for you,

late again? Noorah says. "Yeah, my sister and my brother didn't wake me up.", I

complained. "You mean Stiley, and Ray? I don't think that's the deal you didn't

wake up, did you?", Noorah questions. "Never mind that, did you see Jupiter? I

feel so good knowing that this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and I experienced

it!" Noorah bragged. "Lucky!" I admired "My big brother Seth didn't wake me up

on purpose!", I complained. "He got to see Jupiter with his bare eyes by

himself!" I said with jealousy. "It's okay Alicia, at least you lived in the

era of Jupiter being this close to Earth!" Noorah comforted me. "Alright, I

have to go," I said, "bye!". "I should call mom." "Hi, Mom!" I spoke. "Hi Lili,

how are you doing?" Mom asked. "I'm good, where'd you go this morning?", I asked,

"Oh I had a meeting with the mayor," Mom answered. "Stiley and Ray arrived

home, you should head back and cook for them." Mom commanded. "Why can't Seth

give them food?", I complained. "He had work at the police station, now that

they recruited him, he won't be home that often!" Mom answered. As I was

heading home, I took out the letters Stiley brought from the mailbox. By the

time, I reached home. "Hi Ray, how was school?", I asked. "Stop asking me!" Ray

yells and stomps to his room upstairs. "Woah," I questioned. I went to my room

and took out the letters, all of them were about universities, and looked the same,

except one of them. It looked unusual yet normal. The stamp looked like it was

not sent by someone from here. The letter looked a bit dusty; it looked like it's

been through a lot! I slowly turned the letter to look at the other side to

look at the name of the person who sent it. When I saw it, I was extremely

confused. What I saw was very unusual that I'd never seen on the letter I'd

received. It said, From Alicia to Alicia.
