Tomb Of Diana

The cave was dark while the entrance had sealed as if it never existed.

He was moving deep in the cave which had very few lights, what few sources of light there were tended to be dim torches that had a blue glow instead of fire.

With his mana sense he saw that the whole area was dense with mana particles that were all flooded with the dark element.

This was so significant that he could not even dream of passing this chance up.

He sat down to cultivate his shadow affinity.

After a few minutes if cultivating he felt his energy surging before the sound of creaking met his ears.

When he opened his eyes he saw a strange thing he hadnt seen yet.

A skeleton.

He stood up to ready his spells before launching a shadow spear at the undead.

When the skeleton was struck by the large spear of magic it lost an arm which began to bleed the shadowy haze of consumption.

He combined it with fire bolts but the burning made the area more annoying to deal with as the confined space got hotter.

Thus he chose to focus on shadows.

Before killing the skeleton he decided to check its level.

What he saw made him a bit more worried than before.

This skeleton was lv32.

If the first enemy he encountered was a lv32 unarmed skeleton then what would he find deeper in the cave?

Once he killed the skeleton that was when he got the true shock of the day.

~~~~~~~~~~
Dungeon Boon in effect.
Normal mode experience bonus +50%
~~~~~~~~~~

Not only was this boost incredible but it seemed the skeleton had more experience as well, or maybe dungeon mosters had more experience.

It was not enough for a level up but it was very close.

He knew that this leveling would be incredibly fast so he wanted to take advantage of this high mana level in the dungeon.

Sitting back down to cultivate again he fought off the sleep as he sent his mana sense out as far as possible with his mana control draining the mana into him like a hungry void.

He ignored the rapid notifications he was getting and through his mana sense he could even see that there were more undead farther into the cave.

When the undead began to move he watched it get closer and closer as he was absorbing more mana.

When the mana in that area was depleted he stood up and approached the next skeleton to destroy it.

This was what his path looked like for the next few minutes until he got to something less mundane than a cave.

He saw a stone door that held a family crest.

He wasnt sure what it was for but he assumed that videogame logic would hold and this would be the boss room.

It was a very fast dungeon he felt since it was basically a tunnel into the earth.

He pushed at the door and it slowly creaked open like a mausoleum.

The sound of stone grinding on stone was loud but he kept pushing.

It was not difficult but the door had no automatic or magic opening mechanism clearly.

When the door was finally open he was able to see the coffin inside.

The coffin was simple stone with no decoration on it.

He entered the room with caution as he expected the coffin to open and reveal the boss but so far nothing happened.

Checking the room with his mana sense he could not see within the coffin as the shadow mana in the room was far to thick.

He sat down to cultivate again, pulling all of that dense shadow mana into his body.

His efforts were rewarded as he watched the coffin and within he saw a figure glowing bright with mana.

Not just any mana though.

He saw a figure like a childs drawing of a skeleton filled in with the color black.

This was a shadow mage.
