Bloodlines Online, a game world where only those who learn to play can actually prosper.
With a realistic skill leveling system and a deeply fleshed out system for handling statistics every player must learn that they either develop their skills or they fall behind.
Ezekiel is a young man barely approaching graduation and working at his uncle's restaurant, The Chateau. Like many others he chose to buy Bloodlines Online just to explore a new game in the revolutionary field but just like every other player he was unaware of the significant role this game would play in the future.
Streaming, currency exchange, information, all sorts of methods to make money on Bloodlines would soon rear their head and anyone who had even a small advantage could soon rise to glory.
Will you rise through the honor of raiding dungeons to sell information?
Will you gain wealth by selling your services as a power leveling carry?
Will you become a wealthy entrepreneur in the game?
Blacksmithing, alchemy, enchanting, class unique boons, all of it will become a players easily obtained income.
The game hides a terrible secret though, a secret known to another player named Alexander.
Follow the path of Bloodlines Online whether you wish to learn magic, martial skills or simply like the characters, it is all up to you.
I do not own the cover art used and if the creator would like me to remove it i will do so.
Not bad but one main huge problem in my opinion. I think that the stupid trope of mc being some insightful god that intuitively understands the game is bad, but even moreso when the actions the mc takes are completely average. the idea that no one would get the hint that NPCs would teach the players is absurd, and the notion that people only play in a single way and the mc is so special for playing in a slightly different way is infuriating. authors need to stop lowering the average IQ to make the mc look like a genius.
Typical shameless author review to help spread the novel to peoples recommended lists. I intend to build the lore over time and write characters in such a way that doesn't just reveal every little detail of their plans. If a reader has questions about the story or even if they wish to make a suggestion feel free to do so. Since I wish to build reader loyalty i may even give readers who gift, a character inspired by them or let them suggest an npc. (I will not be giving people the ability to make main characters or other nonsense but it sounds like fun to reward people that like the story.)
Overall, this is a good read. I enjoy reading game novels. The Mc is pretty intuitive and innovative when it comes to magic. He is also pretty innocent to the world, showing his young age. It could be bad depending on the situation, but it's nice sometimes to see as long as it's not too much. Too much innocence is just stupidity. He has a few moments in the later chapters that are close to that, but things work out in the end. There has been some good story building going on that allows you to see some interesting potential future paths to take. I look forward to reading more
what is there to say the story is perfect. the lace moves good and the character development doesn't leave you disappointed. overall I'd say this should be in anyone's top reading list
