The chaos around me felt like it was crushing my chest. Kormak's wild swings, Elana's frustration, Lila's trembling spells it was a mess, and the monster in front of us was capitalizing on every second of our disarray.

My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of fear and frustration. If we didn't get our act together, we wouldn't stand a chance.

"Enough!" I screamed, my voice louder than I had ever meant it to be, but it cut through the noise. Everyone froze for a brief moment, their eyes locking onto me in surprise. Even the monster hesitated, its glowing eyes narrowing in confusion.

"Do you all want to die?" I demanded, breathless and angry. "Because that's exactly what's going to happen if we keep acting like this!"

Kormak grunted, still gripping his axe too tightly. Elana wiped the sweat from her brow, giving me a look that suggested she didn't appreciate being lectured in the middle of a fight, but she didn't argue.
