Training with Three Identities

Served the finest dishes, shrimp, rice, pasta, salads made with the perfect blend of spices, multiple sauces for the meats and chicken Uravis ordered for himself. For almost a month away form his home, he had not had his favourite dishes, spicy fried chicken, rice and his sister's own kimchi recipe.

After the little feast, Uravis invited them to his home to talk more about joining forces. Lady Seraphina and Torvalds handled their transportation, and he did the same. They all appeared at the same time, on the field behind Uravis' manor, he however had to switch to Drakonis since he used Nightshade for teleportation.

"Your manor is..." Lady Seraphina trailed off, the whole thing was different from the manors she saw around. Modern was the word and it looked strange, from the floor to ceiling windows and the furnitures she saw within the house was different.

She imagined something simple but elegant, gold statues, sofas the size of a throne and rugs on all the floors. But what she saw was a plain black and white interior, the ceiling and tiles were white, but the walls were black with gray or silver furnitures and decorations.

From where she stood she could tell that the air inside his manor would be different from that outside, which was very strange.

"The word is Modern, like that of cities half way across the world, are you perhaps from there?" Torvald asked, very amused with what he saw. He enjoyed trying new things and since Drakonis' manor was different and new, he was eager to try it out.

Uravis laughed nervously before answering, "Y..yes I am, Things over there are more advanced that here," Torvald mirrored his smile but then sighed.

"Things over here are modern, the citizens are just used to a simple life, without the technology, stress and chaos of a modern world," he stated earning a hum of approval from Seraphina.

"I am happy to show you around, after that we could talk and also measure our abilities," Uravis said as his eyes moved to Seraphina who was pleased with what he said. She snapped her fingers and her hat vanished, revealing a curry red hair, held in a ponytail.

Uravis led them into the manor, watching with Torvald as Seraphina walked ahead of them, inspecting every nook and cranny of his home. Torvald maintained composure, he was eager to check out everything, but he would not want to fall out of line... Like Seraphina.

During the tour, Claire stepped out of the kitchen with a tray of food in her hands, she was in Uravis' shirt that looked like it swallowed her, her brown hair held in a messy bun with some strands falling on her face.

When Torvald and Seraphina saw her, they were shocked but mostly finding it hard to control their laughter. "Your Wife?" Torvald asked but Uravis shook his head, slightly embarrassed.

However, before Claire would notice them, Torvald and Seraphina vanished, leaving a stunned Uravis with her.

"You really should keep the doors locked, Claire," he said announcing his presence to her. Claire glanced at him with a frown on her face, "What?"

"You had all this and you didn't bother to tell me about it, Our village would never afford to have all this noble men materials. Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, her gaze focused on him with an intensity that made him feel anxious.

He scratched the back of his neck and smiled innocently, "I will explain later, I have to attend to my guest outside."

"Is that why you look like a swords man?"

Uravis' brows furrowed, "Again Claire, this is Drakonis and not a swords man, Keep the name."

Claire scoffed mockingly and turned to the tray, "Swords man should answer his guests before I embarrass you before them," she threatened and watched with the corner of her eyes as Uravis marched out of the manor, mumbling words she made no attempt to understand.

Once Uravis arrived on the field, he spotted Lady Seraphina holding a staff, and she was wearing a slick polished brown bodysuit, with boots that were strong and heavy enough to crush ones head. Torvald on the other hand held a mallet that he made himself, since he was a blacksmith.

And since he was wearing a mask, Uravis had access to different abilities, and he got to prepare early for the threats ahead. But he couldn't shake off the fact he had to change his allies, yes the new ones were stronger, but the previous reminded him of his gaming team.

Heaving a sigh, Uravis drew out his sword and held it out to them, "Two against one."

"No, I would rather we battle against each other, That way we can clear our doubts about one another," Torvald suggested and they agreed. "Alright let's do this," he added and charged towards Seraphina who seemed like the best option.

Uravis on the other hand waited till Torvald was fully occupied with Seraphina, he watched her block his attacks with her staff, effortlessly.

They were both matched, fast and their movements were swift and precise. But Drakonis was all that and Nightshade was even better. He charged towards both of them, strategizing as he moved, a few feets away from the duo, he switched to Nightshade and drew out both swords.

He separated the duo, stood between them with both swords pointed at their throat, "This was so easy," Uravis said with a smile but when Seraphina and Torvalds vanished he frowned, 'They can Teleport, awesome,' he told himself, put his sword back in its sheath and put his guard up, his dark eyes scanning everywhere around him.

Then, Seraphina appeared behind him with a sword in her hand, she charged towards him with speed like that of a cheetah, when Uravis noticed, he jumped over her, grabbed a fistful of her hair and pulled it back as he landed.

She groaned painfully as his fist tightened around her hair, she did anything possible to get his fists off her but his grip was too tight, but then he leaned closer, his empty eyes staring deep into her soul. "Don't hold back," Uravis whispered and used his other hand to grab her throat.

Without hesitating or waiting for her to say anything, he threw her few feet off the ground and when she descended, he jumped off the ground and did a three hundred sixty kick that sent her flying into a tree, which immobilized her at the moment.

Almost immediately Torvalds appeared before him, he delivered a blow to Nightshade's gut, the force of the hit sent him flying few meters away, till he managed to stop. A smile appeared on Nightshade's face, while Uravis inside was already cooking up a plan.

They charged at each other, Torvald's mallet appeared in his right hand, while Nightshade remained unarmed. But they were both charging up.

Torvald had the ability to infuse his energy on a weapon, he could change the form of that weapon as well as amplify it, as 'Drakonis' approached him, he changed the form to a sword, ready to cut or stab any part that he could access.

Seconds away from contact, an earthquake began on only where they stood, Uravis gazed at the ground and then dragged his gaze to were he kicked Seraphina to. She stood there with a bloody nose and blood trickling down the open wound in her forehead.

Her hands were stretched out, with a red glowing aura around her. 'Stubborn, right?' Uravis said to himself and leaped into the air when he saw the time was right.

A massive hand extended out of the ground and wrapped around Torvald, while suspended in the air, he watched her squeeze Torvald till he bled out of his nose and lost consciousness.

She kept his unconscious body aside and extended out her hands to him, Unfortunately, Nightshade could not go any higher, she grabbed him in her massive hands.

"This is holding back, Drakonis," she said, slowly and gradually squeezing him in her large hands. But before she could blink, he vanished out of her hands, leaving a trail of black smoke.

He appeared behind her, switched to Drakonis and held his sword to her throat. Knowing she would end up vanishing as usual, he hit her hard behind her neck and watched her drop to the ground, unconscious. He won.

"That was fun," He uttered and switched back to Uravis, only to feel his body go limp, his eyes widened when his vision blurred as well, and he could not move. He used his last strength to tap on the locket around his neck before giving into the darkness.
