Chapter 15: Encounter with Navy in New World

---

After important work done in fish-man island, Kaido and his crew took the time to explore Fish-Man Island. While there, Fisher Tiger invited Jack, one of Kaido's officers, to meet. It was clear that the Fish-Men were trying to establish some form of relationship with Kaido, likely recognizing him as a powerful pirate capable of destroying an entire country on his own.

By the end of five days, it was time to leave. With their supplies replenished, the Beast Pirates once again set sail for the New World.

As their coated ship began the long journey upward towards the surface, they encountered more of the deep sea's magnificent and terrifying creatures. Massive squid, ancient sea serpents, and creatures from the abyss swam near their path.

When they finally reached the surface, the coating burst, as the ship emerged into the light of day. The crew stood ready, knowing what was to come. They had entered the second half of the Grand Line—known as the New World, the true domain of the most powerful pirates in the world.

Their first destination was Raijin Island. As the Log Pose guided them forward, the atmosphere changed drastically. Icebergs began falling from the sky, threatening to crush the ship. But Kaido, using his ability to manipulate the clouds, created a protective barrier that deflected the icebergs with ease. His control over the weather was absolute.

After several days at sea, they finally arrived at Raijin Island, one of the most dangerous places in the New World. The island earned its name from the relentless lightning strikes that bombarded it—280 times per hour, 160 nights a year. The sky above was constantly dark, filled with storm clouds that swirled ominously. It was an "everlasting storm," where the lightning never ceased.

Kaido and his crew docked at the edge of the island, their ship anchored in one of the few safe corners. As they prepared to explore this hostile land, Kaido looked up at the sky, unbothered by the constant lightning strikes.

Kaido eyes glinting with excitement. The storm welcomed them . Raijin Island would be their next conquest.

As Kaido and his crew stepped onto the island, they were met by an unexpected sight: standing before them was one of the most formidable Marines, Black Arm Zephyr. Behind him, Marine ships blocked any possible retreat, encircling the Beast Pirates.

Zephyr, with a grim expression, addressed Kaido directly. "Kaido, the Marines have surrounded you. You have no choice. Surrender now if you want to suffer less."

Kaido and his crew didn't even flinch as the Marines closed in. The tension in the air was thick, but Kaido's calm demeanor showed that he was far from worried.

"Worororo... Surrender, Zephyr? Since when did you Marines start making jokes? Surrounded? All I see is a group of ants trying to block an elephant."

Zephyr's face hardened, but before he could respond, another voice cut through the storm. "There's no need for talking with pirates. There's no place in this world for scum like you. I will kill every last one of you in the name of absolute justice."

As soon as the words left his mouth, a volley of magma balls erupted from the sky, descending upon the Beast Pirates like meteors. The searing heat was about to engulf them, but before the flames could reach, they were intercepted.

A blazing slash cut through the magma, scattering it, while an iron net flung the remaining molten fire away. Two figures emerged to confront the attack.

"When did it become your turn to attack our captain?" said a young man with black wings engulfed in flames. A burning katana was in his hand, flames licking its edge.

Beside him stood another figure, a man with goggles and a metallic structure attached to his arm. The two of them, King and Queen, stood ready for battle.

Akainu had arrived. His body radiated heat as the ground beneath him began to melt. King and Queen leaped into action, clashing with the Magma vice Admiral, the fiery battle between them beginning to consume the island.

On the other side, Kaido and Zephyr stood face to face, their auras clashing as the storm above roared in response.

"I don't know what gave you the confidence to face me, Zephyr, but as you're getting old. Let me help you dig your coffin, so no one can say that Beast Kaido doesn't respect his elders."

Zephyr's eyes narrowed. "I'm more than young enough to deal with you, Kaido. But don't worry about my coffin-you should be thinking about who will build yours in Impel Down!"
