The sound of hammer striking metal rang through the night, each blow sending sparks flying like dying stars. The blacksmith worked tirelessly, his muscles straining as he shaped the sacred weapon—the key to the Five Elements Seal. The flames of his forge danced wildly, almost as if they, too, feared the coming battle.
The Sage Rat watched in silence, his mind racing. They had all the elements needed to perform the seal—Earth, Water, Wood, Metal, and Fire. But bringing them together was another matter entirely.
The Wise Crow landed beside him. "The Fire God draws closer. We don't have much time."
The Sage Rat nodded. "Then we move at dawn."
The sun barely had time to rise before the Fire God made its next move. The volcano, now fully awakened, spewed fire and ash into the sky. Rivers of lava carved new paths across the land, swallowing forests and creatures alike.
And then, amidst the chaos, it emerged.
The Fire God's form was even more terrifying up close. Its body was a moving mountain of molten rock, its arms like massive pillars of destruction. With every breath, flames burst from its core, setting the air itself alight.
But The Sage Rat did not back down.
"The ritual must begin now!" he shouted.
The Abyssal Dragon King let out a mighty roar, summoning the power of the ocean. A massive tidal wave surged forward, crashing against the Fire God's burning form. Steam exploded into the air as water met fire, creating a mist so thick it obscured the battlefield.
From beneath the earth, the ancient turtle's inscriptions glowed, marking the ritual's starting point. "All elements are present," the turtle rumbled. "Now, we must bind them together."
The Wise Crow soared high into the sky, carrying with him the sacred symbols of Wood, channeling the power of the forest itself.
And then, at last, the blacksmith stepped forward. In his hands was the weapon he had forged—a blade infused with the power of Metal, meant to cut through the divine flames.
The Sage Rat met his eyes. "Are you ready?"
The blacksmith took a deep breath and nodded. "Let's finish this."
The Fire God let out an earth-shaking roar as it realized the trap. Its flames grew hotter, its rage more violent. It raised its arm to strike, and for a moment, it seemed as though the entire world would be consumed.
But The Sage Rat was faster.
"NOW!" he commanded.
The blacksmith leaped forward, driving the sacred blade into the Fire God's chest. The impact sent shockwaves through the battlefield, the power of Metal clashing against the inferno. The Fire God screamed, its body convulsing as the elements took hold.
Water, Earth, Wood, and Metal—each force merged together, forming chains of energy that wrapped around the Fire God's massive form. The Five Elements Seal was finally taking shape.
For a moment, it seemed like they had won.
But then—the Fire God laughed.
The molten rock that made up its body cracked, and from within, a burning light erupted. The seal was not enough. The Fire God was too powerful to be contained.
The Sage Rat's heart sank. "No… This can't be…"
The Abyssal Dragon King roared in frustration. "The seal is incomplete!"
The Wise Crow's voice was filled with horror. "We need more power!"
And then, the ancient turtle spoke. "There is only one force that can rival Fire."
The battlefield fell silent as everyone realized what he meant.
Water.
A second god.
Somewhere, in the depths of the ocean, the Water God was awakening.
