Feelings

It was Saturday morning, and the sun shone radiantly through the window of Ethan's room. He rolled in bed, covering himself with the blanket to feel more comfortable. With his eyes wide open, he couldn't shake the reflection of Elena's face from his mind.

In Elena's room

She lay in bed staring at the ceiling as her thoughts also reflected Ethan's face on her mind she thought" Should I go to meet him in his room and remind him about the moon research" She covered her eyes in shame as she blushed." No that is not a good idea, it would look as if I am throwing myself at him, he is supposed to tell me how he feels about me by now".

Then a gentle knock sounded on the door." I think that's him". She stood up quickly, as she opened the door it was her sister, she felt disappointed, sitting in bed. 

"Anna what are you doing in my room this morning". She asked raising her eyes.

"Good morning Elena, I am so sick and tired of Emily she keeps kicking me in bed, can I sleep her a bit, please? Anna said as she rubbed her eyes still feeling sleepy. 

"I will let you sleep in my bed on one condition, Elena said as she smiled mischievously. 

"Okay and what is the condition?

"Please go to Ethan and ask him to come to the dining table. I can't go to his room for personal reasons. The room will be all yours when I'm gone. What do you think?"

"That is very simple, I will do it. As Anna walks out of the room. 

In Ethan's room

Ethan was still in bed when he heard a knock on the door. He was happy because he thought it was Elena. He began to clean his face and stared at the mirror, saying, "Come in" in a low tone. To his surprise, it was Anna.

"Hey Anna how are you?. He said rubbing his head. 

"Good morning, Ethan, I'm okay. Elena said you should meet her in the dining room. She said as she walked out of the room still feeling sleepy.

Ethan didn't know what to say when he met her. He just wanted to confess his feelings for her, no matter what she said, as he hurriedly walked out of his room.

In the dining room

Elena was busy making breakfast, but when she saw Ethan walking down the stairs, she quickly changed her tone from cooking to cleaning the dining table.

"Good morning Ethan. She said in a low tone as she continued cooking.

"Good morning Elena, how was your night?". he said as he sat in the dining chair, so you are up early today and now making impressive breakfast. 

"Um, Ethan, yeah, not only that, I want to make breakfast. The truth is that... The intense moment was disrupted as Mr John descended the stairs in his jogging clothes as usual."

"Good morning sir. Ethan quickly cut in.

"Good morning Dad. She said in a nervous tone as she focused on the cooking. 

Mr John replied "Yes good morning both of you, it seems you woke up very early today to make breakfast Elena, that is so sweet of you, so I will head out now and do my exercise. As he walked out of the house. 

"So what did you want to say, Elena?". Ethan said as he smiled at her. 

"Nothing Ethan".

"Listen, Elena, I need to tell you how I feel," Ethan said as he walked closer to her. "I've been thinking about you a lot lately, and I just have to be honest. Elena, I love you, and I hope you won't be mad at me for saying this. I can't keep my feelings for you hidden anymore."

"Oh Ethan, I love you too," she said as she kissed him. "You know I've been waiting for this moment for some time now," she said, smiling at him.

"Me too. Ethan said as he pulled her close to himself again and kissed her again. 

"Let's quickly make breakfast before the girls wake up Ethan said as he began to set the plate on the dining table. 

"Ethan, don't you think it would be better to write letters to each other? You can call me babe now, I don't mind that." better to write in letter to each other, and you can call me babe now, I don't mind that. 

"Yes I think it would be better to write in a letter babe he laughed.

They both laughed.
