Chef

And that's what I'm doing here, buy dinner and we also need some items at home" she held Stacy's arm and they walked into the store.

Stacy picked up a shopping basket and they both walked into the store to pick what they would be needing at home.

As they walked, Stacy picked some food ingredients and vegetables and threw into the basket while her friend just picked snacks and drinks.

"Don't tell me you're going to have those for dinner?" She asked her friend.

"Yes, I need snacks to keep me awake for the night" she answered as she compared two fruit juice which were on the shelf.

"I can't really force you, can I ?" She said as she shook her head. Vivian was really a stubborn girl who always does what she wanted.

"We should get some fruits too" Vivian turned and said to her friend.

"I almost forgot about that" said Stacy as she tapped her fingers on her forehead lightly.

Vivian who just reminded her friend of the fruits turned her head forward but ended up hitting something hard in front of her.

She had accidentally hit a trolley which was held by the person in front of her.

"Ouch" she frowned at the pain on her thighs . She bent and rubs her palm on it to lessen the pain.

"Are you alright Miss?" The young man asked and Vivian who still had her head bent shook it and the young man had to apologise.

"My apologies Miss" he apologized and Vivian nodded before she looked up and saw it was the guy from the other day, at the restaurant.

"You!!" They both exclaimed together and burst into laughter after what they did.

"How are you doing?" He asked her and she answered him.

"I'm good,you?"

"Great. You came shopping?" He asked when he noticed she wasn't carrying a shopping basket.

"Yeah with my roommate" she said as she turned and introduced Stacy to him but something went wrong. As she was introducing them to each other she realized she didn't know his name, infact she never asked.

"Kris.. Kris Miller" he chipped in when he found her sentence was cut short.

"Stacy... nice to meet you" she said and they both shook hands.

"I really wanted to ask for your name the other day but you left in a hurry" he turned to Vivian once again.

"It's Vivian" she replied with a smile

"Vivian... Nice name" he said and she chuckled lightly.

"Thanks"

Stacy who saw they were still discussing decided to continue with her shopping. Vivian had totally forgotten that she had come shopping with someone.

"Well I came for grocery shopping" he said. He didn't know what to talk about next so he just had to come up with something.

"Oh. Nice. I can see that" she replied as her eyes scanned the basket. They only contained Vegetables, fruits, and other food items. He really looked like one who doesn't joke with his health. He also looked healthy.

Looking at him closely he did look different from the other day, he was putting on a grey suit the other day but today he looked casual.

He was dressed in a white polo shirt and grey trousers, he looked even more handsome than the other day.

"You've got so much vegetables, what are you cooking tonight?" She asked.

"Green frittata" he answered and smiled.

"What's that, I don't think I've tasted it" she said.

"It's an Italian dish " he cleared her confusion.

"It must really taste good and.. oh, I almost forgot you're a chef right?" She asked.

"Yeah" he answered.

"I look forward to tasting your dishes" she said and looked at her wrist watch.

"Oops, looks like I gotta run" she said with a pout which made her look cute.

"Work?" He asked.

"Yup, night shift and all" she explained briefly.

"Oh" he sounded disappointed.

"Looks like I'll have to taste your wonderful meal next time" she said and was about to turn when he immediately held her wrist.

"I'm, I'm sorry" he apologized for grabbing her wrist in a hurry. He had been looking for a way to get her contact and now she was leaving.

" Can I have your contact?" He asked and she nodded before she collected his phone.
