Unexpected Guest

"What the hell was that?" the robber asked taking a step back

"I told you to calm down. Yet you didn't want to listen," Virgil said slowly standing up

"Fuck is he one of those meta-humans people been talking about?" another robber asked

"it can't be they have only been seen in Central City,"

With a sigh and some anger filling his mind, Virgil turned off his shield and placed a hand on the robber's shoulder.

"You know I really hate robbers. This is the second time this has happened in the past three hours. I'm not dieing this time," Virgil said using shock on the man 

The moment he did the man's body was covered in electricity as he convulsed and fell to the floor passed out.

"Fuck man shoot this guy," the other said pointing their guns at Virgil.

But before any of them could get a shot off Virgil reactivated his barrier and once they shot each bullet was stopped by his shield and fell to the floor leaving Virgil unharmed.

"God damn it man I'm getting the fuck out of here," one of the robbers said before running away

"Where the hell do you think you are going," Virgil said deactivating his barrier 

The moment the barrier dropped he covered his legs in mana strengthening them. Dashing forward he quickly passed the others and grabbed the one that tried running. Using shocked him dropping him to the floor.

{Mana strengthening how?} Sabastian said with surprise.

While the other robbers were in shock Virgil dashed to each of them and shocked them knocking all of them out. 

Only when he got to the last robber he didn't have enough mana to activate the shock. Realizing he sighed while standing before the man. 

Seeing all his other teammates knocked out and on the floor, the man fell to his knees and started to beg.

"Please don't hurt me I will do anything you want...Money do you want money, here take everything we have please just let me live!!!" the man said throwing a bag at Virgil's feet while crawling away

"Don't beg it won't help," Virgil said absorbing more mana around him 

Once he had enough he grabbed the man with mana strengthen arms and picked him up into the air.

"Please I'm sorry please don't!!!" the man begged way trying to escape

While holding the man's collar Virgil's hand began to glow blue as small sparks of lightning covered his hand.

Right before he activated the shock a voice yelled out to him for the ceiling of the building.

"NO!"

Looking up Virgil saw nothing. Like he did with his body he coated his eyes. Once he did he was able to make out a human dressed in black.

The next moment the figure jumped down and landed right before Virgil. 

"Batman!" the young woman yelled in excitement

"Put him down," Batman said in his usually demanding tone

Looking over at Batman Virgil looked back at the robber before signing and dropping him. Only then did Virgil realize that the man pissed his pants.

"Nasty," Virgil said backing away from the man

"Who are you?" Batman asked with narrowed eyes

"Just someone who really hates robbers" Virgil replied as he was about to walk away

"Where do you think you're going," batman said grabbing Virgil's hand

"I'm leaving before the cops arrive too many problems if the cops are questioning me," Virgil said activating his barrier

The next moment batman's hand was forced away and Virgil left the building from the back. After he left the building batman looked down at the five knocked-out robbers he could not help but wonder who the kid was.

"Alfred, contact Constantine and have him look over the bank footage I want to know what I'm dealing with. Find out who this kid is I want to know everything about him uploaded on the bat computer" Batman said

"Very well master Bruce but may is ask why did not stop the young man?" Alfred asked

"..."

"Very well master Bruce," Alfred sighed at Bruce's' quietness

As Virgil made his way back to his apartment he could not help but be shocked by how fast some kind of hero showed up. After another ten-minute walk, he arrived at his rundown apartment.

Walking inside he sat down on his couch with a sigh before receiving notifications.

{Virgil how did you do that?} Sabastian asked no longer able to keep quite

"Do what?" Virgil asked

"Well after I activated the barrier I could feel the mana leave the core within my body. So I just moved that mana to my limbs as I have seen in the show I didn't think it would work so well," Virgil explained
