The Box

"W-what are you? How are you still alive?" The Lich asked with malice filling his voice

"I told you fire magic does not work on me," Virgil said blitzing the Lich

In just a moment he appeared next to the Lich. Thanks to the damage from being disconnected from his skeleton he could not create to Virgil's speed. 

Holding his hand out he used the point-blank spell. At the same time, he fired a ray of light magic to intensify the damage. 

Once he stopped he looked at the lich whose body was burned to ash yet began regenerating at incredible speeds.

(So I need to destroy its second heart before I can kill it...If I had to guess the dragon might be it) Virgil thought jumping back and creating distance. 

Lifining all his daggers she coated them in a blinding light magic that caused the dragon to roar before flying up into the air trying to escape. 

"Oh no, you're not going anywhere," Virgil said launching two daggers with wind magic to boost its speed.

As the dragon attempted to run away, the two daggers of beaming light reached it in a moment, clipping its wings off and dropping it to the ground. 

Roaring in pain the dragon looked back to see Virgil walking up to it with a shining blade made from light. With no means of escape and its master still unfit for combat, the Dragon raised its head and began speaking in the old dragon language. 

With one word spoken the ground around began to shake as the atmosphere turned heavy. Hearing the dragon's words Virgil fell to his knees and blood started pooling from his nose and ears.

"W...What is this? I-I can't move," Virgil said attempting to move his body but failing

As the dragon continued the dark clouds that once covered the skies began to part exposing a dark red mist. 

[Warning and Primordial is Begin summoned]

[Warning the host is in extreme danger]

"A primordial?... Sabastian what begin summoned"

{The first dragon king. I didn't think the undead could even still use that power}

"Then what do I do?... I can't move," Virgil asked panic slowly starting to take over

{Don't worry you will be fine. But I would tell yours to summon Jinwoo to get your friends to the Dungeon entrance}

(Jinwoo gathered the other make your way to the entrance now don't waste any time)

[To complete the summon all four dungeon Masters are being used as sacrifices]

"Human you are too dangerous to leave alive...and we may die from this but you will also meet your end here," the Lich spoke 

As the sky parted more and the red mist grew the feeling of behind stared down by something filled Virgil. Looking up into the sky and into the mist, he saw something that filled him with fear. A dragon the size of a large mountain, with golden scales and cold blue eyes flying through an endless space. 

As he made eye contact with the dragon he felt a sense of dread and it got closer to the red mist.

(My Lord I have gathered them all and from what I was all the bosses they were fighting began disappearing turning into dust)

(I see goo just stay there with them)

(But my lord your safety is my top priority)

(I understand but you must follow my command)

{Sabastian you better do something that thing is getting really close) Virgil said still struggling to move his body

As the golden dragon existed the red mist, it landed right before Virgil and stared him down with with eyes that filled Virgil with fear of death.

"I was summoned to kill you. I see why you have the potential for Aither...Hmmm, but it also seems like you have the protection of the system pity. I would enjoy eating you," the golden dragon spoke in voice without opening its mouth

{Oi Brarre you better get the hell out of here} 

"Sabatian you are still here maybe I should just kill the boy. I have no qualms with the system but you..." the dragon Brarre replied

"Sabastian what's happening?' Virgil asked confused by this interaction

"Quite human," Brarre spoke 

{Virgil you wanted answers right about the box. You will get them}

[???: Activated]

[Warden: Virgil Domini]

[Enternal Prison: Stage Five]

[Target: Brarre the Eternal]

[Time: Until released by jailer]

"No! How does a human have that!?" The dragon said with wide eyes as the mysterious cube appeared before the two 

Seeing the cube Brarre tried to fly away but black throne chains shot out from the box wrapping around him pulling him to the ground and causing an earthquake

As the symbols of the box glowed it began to grow until it reached the size of a person. Once it did the box shattered into pieces, each piece connected until it became a dark void. Seeing this Brarre attempted to fight the chains but it was futile as they dragged his body into the the void. 

Once he was inside the void the shards joined once more turning into the small box. With Brarre gone Virgil was able to regain his movement. Slowly standing up Virgil looked at the floating box with more questions than before.

Reaching out to touch the box Virgil placed it in his inventory. Grabbing a health potion he drank it and placed the weapons away. 

{Are you not going to ask} Sabastian said breaking the silence

"Will finally get answers this time. Will you tell me the truth," Virgil replied holding back his anger and confusion.

{...I can three questions truthfully that's all}

"Why only three why not all my questions?"

{Because you will die. The real truth will cause hundreds of gods to know about your existence and they will come after you}
