Chapter 77: The Vogue World Event in Paris

It was a sunny afternoon in Paris when Thomas arrived at Vogue World, one of the most prestigious fashion events in the world. He had been invited to attend the event by none other than his little sister Kendall Jenner, who was walking alongside her friend Gigi Hadid. Since his retirement, Thomas had not attended many public events, but he made sure to attend special moments, especially when they involved the people he loved.

Upon arriving at the venue, Thomas was greeted by photographers and flashbulbs. He, always discreet, smiled politely and waved, feeling a little out of his comfort zone. The elegance of the event, with its celebrities and high fashion, was a contrast to the simpler, quieter life he was used to leading. Still, he felt proud to be there to support Kendall and Gigi, knowing how important this event was to them.

Dressed in a well-tailored black suit, Thomas walked the red carpet alongside other celebrity guests, but never once did he lose his poise and confidence. He exchanged a few quick words with acquaintances and then headed toward the VIP area, where he would watch the show.

— "Look who's here! The great Thomas!" — a familiar voice said as he approached the entrance.

It was Gigi Hadid, who greeted him with a big smile before giving him a tight hug.

— "It's always good to see you, Gigi!" — Thomas replied, beaming as he hugged her back. "I'm here to support my little sister and you, of course. How are you feeling about the show?"

— "A little nervous, as always, but I'm excited! Having you here to support us means a lot," Gigi said, adjusting her elegant dress a little. "Kendall's backstage, but she'll be so happy when she finds out you're here."

— "I wouldn't miss it for the world. You two are going to rock out there," Thomas assured, looking around as the room began to fill with guests and fashion personalities.

Before the show began, Thomas was taken backstage to see Kendall. When he opened the dressing room door, he saw his sister adjusting the last detail of her makeup, ready to walk down the runway. Kendall wore a stunning haute couture gown that mixed classic elements with modern touches, making her look like a true fashion goddess.

"Tommy! You really came!" Kendall exclaimed, her eyes shining with joy when she saw him walk in.

She ran to hug him, being careful not to wrinkle her dress. Thomas hugged her back affectionately, feeling pride warm his chest.

"Of course I came. I couldn't miss you walking in such an important event like this," he said, letting go of her to take a closer look at her look. "You look amazing, Ken."

— "Thank you! I was so nervous, but now that you're here, I feel like everything is going to be okay," Kendall said with a sincere smile. "You know how intense these events can be."

Thomas nodded, understanding completely. He knew the pressure Kendall faced in her career and always did his best to support her.

— "Remember, you've been through this a thousand times. You're a professional, Kendall. You're going to rock out there. And I'll be watching, cheering you on," he said, placing a hand on her shoulder for extra support.

— "I know. And that gives me more confidence," she replied, squeezing his hand before returning to her makeup chair.

Back in his seat in the audience, Thomas sat in the front row alongside other celebrities and influencers. He could feel the eyes all around him, but he remained focused on the stage, waiting for the moment when Kendall and Gigi would walk out.

The lights dimmed and the music began to play. The show had a sophisticated vibe, with models strutting their stuff in elegant outfits that captured the essence of Parisian high fashion. Each look seemed to tell a story, and Thomas, while not a fashion expert, could appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship behind each piece.

When he finally saw Kendall walk down the runway, his heart swelled with pride. She walked with confidence, her steps firm and graceful. She owned the runway, as if she was made to be there. Photographers flocked to capture every moment, and Thomas, sitting there, knew he was witnessing something special.

Soon after, Gigi walked out, also looking stunning and with a powerful presence. The two were an iconic duo, radiating elegance and strength. Thomas couldn't take his eyes off them, feeling grateful that he was able to be there to see both of them succeed.

After the show, there was a small reception for guests and attendees. Thomas was quickly surrounded by people who either knew him or had heard of him from his associations with celebrities like Kendall and Taylor Swift. He greeted everyone politely, but kept his focus on the people who mattered most to him.

Gigi joined him again, holding a glass of champagne.

"Did you like it?" she asked, beaming.

"It was amazing. You both looked perfect," Thomas said, raising a glass of water in a gesture of celebration.

Kendall soon appeared, still looking flawless, but clearly relieved that the show was over.

"So, what did you think, Tommy?" she asked, giving him a gentle shove on the shoulder.

"You nailed it. As always," he replied, beaming proudly. Kendall laughed, pulling Gigi into a hug. "I'm so glad you came. These events can be lonely sometimes, but with you here, it makes everything better."

— "You know I'll be here whenever you need me, Ken," Thomas said, kissing the top of her head.

As the night wore on, the trio spent time chatting and celebrating the success of the show. Thomas watched Kendall and Gigi interact, laughing and joking about the tense moments leading up to the event. He knew how dedicated these two were to what they did, and he couldn't be more proud.

As the reception began to clear out, Thomas said goodbye to Gigi and Kendall, leaving them to enjoy the rest of the night with their friends and coworkers. For him, the important thing was that he was there and showed his support.

Walking through the streets of Paris at the end of the night, Thomas felt a light breeze on his face and smiled. He was at peace, surrounded by people he loved and living a moment where he could finally enjoy life in a different way. The fashion world might not be his thing, but whenever it involved Kendall, he knew he would be there, cheering his sister on in every way possible.

This night in Paris wasn't just about glamour and flashes. For Thomas, it was about family, the love and unconditional support he would always give to those in his life.
