The Upir Twin’s loss IV

“M-Mom!! A W-W-Witch!!!”

Lady Eira immediately became alarmed, “Not when I’m this close to my goal, no!” she deliberated.

Ignoring her broken arm, she faced westward and took off running into the woods not too far from the cliff.

But not even up to 20 minutes since she started fleeing, pursuers had begun catching up to her. Their footsteps and shouts echoing from behind her;

“Don’t let her get away!”

“Keep moving ahead, let’s trap her!”

She could hear their conspiracies as clear as the water pouring down the small stream she leaped across while running.

And at that point, she began to panic, “No… No, No, No, No!”

If she was captured, she would undoubtedly be burned alive, like Herald.

Her brows furrowed, sweats streaming down her face in sequence; her breaths becoming more labored.

As she fled heartily, she desperately swiped off the vines and branches in her way.
