Nadia's POV
My mouth was open, my jaw practically on the floor as I stood in shock, staring at Mason.
Girlfriend. He had called me girlfriend. For a moment, I thought that I must have imagined it. There was no way that Mason said I was his girlfriend.
Yet, the whispers and stares confirm that it was not in my imagination.
A misunderstanding, yes, that's what this was! Despite the intense look that Mason was giving me… maybe I just needed to make him understand that he must have misunderstood.
I opened my mouth to correct Mason, but before I could get a word out, Mike and the others swarmed us. I watched as they gave him claps on the back, whooped, and hollered. Even in my shocked state, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Guys were so ridiculous. They don't even like me, but now they're cheering that we are together? That makes absolutely no sense…
