The premise of the story is quite interesting, and I like the depiction of Elspeth's character. Except for Alan... Ugh, I feel like punching him in his face! By the way, each volume is too fast. Imo, you could extend one volume to cover many chapters, explaining each character's background and more before moving on to the next volume.

The ML is so intriguing and the little web of lies and deceit that the author's building up slowly is keeping me at the edge of my seat, the writing style is easy to follow and the pacing is on check.
