"I don't feel like helping you... bastard," Kai responded with his eyes barely opening, wincing from the throbbing pain in his arm. "Why would I?"

"What would have happened to Ava if you had used that technique to protect her?" Shin asked, not even bothering to turn around while they hurried to the evacuation suites in the basements of the academy to tell everyone that the threat was gone.

"I can protect her," He began grinding his teeth. "I can."

"You're not even able to protect yourself from your own power, let alone someone as fragile as that girl," Yui disagreed while she continued to heal his wounds. "You should listen to Shin, Kai."

"Theh demons that came after him were all vaporized in an instant," Rai spoke up again.

"I'll take responsibility for the explosion, it was an extreme case and that was the only option, don't mention Infernus being used, instead it was a focused attack by myself, got it?"
