The End And The Beginning

Jin Kondo stands at 6'1" with a well-defined, muscular build, showcasing his dedication to sports and physical fitness. His light-dark skin tone complements his striking appearance. As a Japanese American athlete, he commands attention with his impressive physique. On the right side of his neck, a dragon-like tattoo adds a fierce, personal touch to his look. His dark brown pupils and intense gaze further emphasize his focus and determination.

Jin Kondo, known for his dedication to judo, boxing, and various fighting sports, was a prominent figure at Rose High, boasting a collection of medals and a social media profile brimming with images of his intense workouts. His reputation as a relentless competitor and his impressive physique had garnered the attention of many female students at Rose High, all hoping to catch his eye.

Jin's ability to accomplish almost anything he set his mind to was undeniable. However, something continued to elude him—a mysterious figure who remained out of reach, fueling his curiosity and frustration.

Jin Kondo wasn't alone in his struggle; many of the school's prominent figures had also tried and failed to win her attention. She was the epitome of a goddess, captivating hearts and evading even the most determined of admirers. Her allure was unmatched, and despite their efforts, she remained an enigma, untouched by the accolades and charm of those around her.

Her beauty was not the only thing that captivated Jin's heart. Despite being the embodiment of athletic excellence at Rose High—often regarded as the "god of all sports" and a fierce, untamable competitor—Jin had experienced rare and humbling defeats in kendo and judo during junior high. This enigmatic figure, however, had managed to touch him in a way no victory ever could.

She was a striking presence at Rose High, her appearance setting her apart from everyone else. Her hair was a luminous white, cascading down in soft waves that framed her delicate face. Her skin was a pale, ethereal white, almost glowing in its clarity. Her lips were soft, natural pink, offering a gentle contrast to her striking features.

Amaya Uchida's eyes were the most captivating: blue and clear like the ocean, with an almost hypnotic depth that seemed to hold endless mysteries. Her Rose High uniform was uniquely her own, a personal customization which highlighted her distinct taste and style. She wore a slightly longer skirt that brushed just above her knees, its tailored fit accentuating her graceful figure. Her ensemble included long black socks that extended up her legs, paired with elegant black shoes that were both stylish and sophisticated.

Slightly taller than Sara, she carried herself with an air of confidence and poise, effortlessly drawing the gaze of everyone around her. Her outfit and demeanour combined to create a look that was both refined and enchanting, making her a figure of admiration and intrigue.

Her figure was strikingly different from Sara's, with body curves that were more pronounced and elongated. She possessed a statuesque silhouette, with graceful, well-defined curves that accentuated her height. Her chest was slightly fuller than Sara's, adding to her commanding presence and making her stand out even more. Her overall physique blended elegance with a captivating allure, enhancing her enchanting appearance.

"Kenji isn't the only one who can figure out what's going on," Ryu cut in, his tone assertive and unwavering.

Ryu, seated behind her, leaned forward and placed both hands on the table, his curiosity piqued.

"Morning," he said with genuine interest.

"What are you reading?" he asked.

His voice carried a tone of intrigue, clearly eager to know more about the book that had captured her attention.

"None of your business,"

She replied plainly, her voice cool and dismissive. She didn't look up from her book maintaining her focus on the pages as if to underscore her disinterest in the conversation.

Ryu smiled slightly and leaned back, reflecting on the long history he shared with her. From the time they were just four years old, their families had been close, and over the years, he had become someone she truly considered a friend. Their bond was built on a foundation of shared experiences and deep understanding, making their connection uniquely special.

Sara struggled with how Ryu's focus shifted to Amaya, feeling overshadowed by her despite her commanding presence, she found herself unable to capture Amaya's attention, despite her relentless efforts since junior high.

"Hi, Amaya. How was your holiday?" she said, hiding her angry expression.

"Peaceful," Amaya replied, not even glancing up as she remained focused on her book.

Sara continued talking, but suddenly, Amaya dropped her book on the table, clearly losing interest.

Noticing Amaya's disinterest, Sara persisted, recounting details about her summer break. Amaya responded with a few words here and there. Kato soon joined in, making a direct comment about Jin.

"OMG, looks like some people picked up a new habit," Kato said, smirking as he pointed at Jin, who was pretending to read a book. The corners of his mouth twitched, clearly amused by Jin's lack of subtlety.

"What's next? A masterclass in avoiding social interaction?"

Jin glanced up, feigning surprise.

"What? This is a classic novel! Very enriching!"

"Sure it is," he replied, chuckling. "Just don't expect us to buy it."

"One has to explore new things," Jin replied, and Kato laughed.

The conversation quickly turned into a group discussion.

Some students were still up, sitting at their tables and chatting, filling the air with youthful energy.

Suddenly, a man in his early thirties entered, holding a book. He walked straight to the teacher's desk in the middle of the classroom. The students saw him, they quickly took their seats at their respective desks and paid attention.

Mr. Kim stood out in the classroom with his bright skin, brown hair, and brown eyes. His slim, muscular build and 6'1" height gave him an imposing yet approachable presence. He is known for his book "From Nothing to Something," which details his journey from a non-privileged background to amassing a net worth of around $43 million through his passion for investing. The book portrays him as courageous and astute, with a keen ability to grow his capital. Many students admire him for his success and insights.

"you are all looking bright, your holiday must have been fun," he said with a smile.

Most of the students smiled at him, giving him the impression that he was right.

"Who can tell me why the stock is making higher highs?" Mr. Kim asked.

A student stood up immediately to answer.

"Bonds were high, based on the shift in correlation that occurred last week. The price was meant to go up," he said confidently.

"Hmm, you're right, but I asked what caused it," Mr. Kim responded.

"I need the main reasons not technical analysis."

Some students smiled as he sat down, their expressions reflecting a clear sense of euphoria.

Many students attempted to answer but didn't provide Mr. Kim with the response he sought.

Mr. Kim's gaze shifted toward Kenji, but his expression alone made it clear that Kenji had no intentions to answer the question. Recognizing this, Mr. Kim decided not to press him and instead looked for someone else to answer.

Without standing, Ryu answered.

"The stock is making higher highs due to improved economic fundamentals and positive earnings reports that have boosted investor confidence."

Mr. Kim nodded in approval and said.

"Exactly. The fundamentals are what drive the underlying strength in the stock."

Mr. Kim continued.

"Most of you were on the right track, but you know me—I'm a guy who sticks more to fundamentals than technical."

The student who had attempted the question smiled, and the confidence in their eyes was rekindled.

The discussion continued, but Kenji appeared present in body only; his thoughts were elsewhere.

It felt as though Kenji had slipped into a dream world, peaceful and calm. As the chat with Mr. Kim stretched on for hours, his gaze remained fixed on the window, watching birds soar joyfully across the sky. Lost in contemplation, he pondered the endless repetitions of life.

The sun was incredibly bright, casting a vibrant glow that seemed to infuse life into everything around it. Yet, in a second, the day swiftly transitioned into the night and the once brilliant daylight faded into a tranquil twilight. The dynamic energy of the sun's radiance gave way to the calm serenity of the evening, enveloping the world in a soft, reflective darkness.

The sudden and dramatic shift in lighting immediately grabbed everyone's attention, prompting some students to rise in astonishment.

"What the hell?" a student exclaimed, breaking the murmur of surprise.

"Is it an eclipse?" a shy female asked, seeking an explanation for what had just occurred.

"An eclipse doesn't just happen like this," Kato said, looking confused.

Kenji stood up from his desk and along with the rest of the class, moved closer to the window. They all gazed out at the dark, ominous clouds that had swiftly gathered.

"What's going on?" Kenji wondered to himself.

He tried to come up with a reason for the sudden change, but nothing came to mind. The classroom buzzed with speculation and excitement, yet his thoughts were clouded with confusion. Why had everything shifted so suddenly?

The dark clouds quickly shifted back to their previous state, restoring the bright daylight. The sudden change left the students talking among themselves, and they all moved a step back from the in fear—except for Kenji and Amaya, who remained by the window, still absorbed in the unusual occurrence.

Upon seeing this, the students became scared. Mr. Kim, noticing this, tried to calm everyone down and bring attention to himself.

"Calm down, guys. I'm sure there is a reason for this to be happening,"

He said, reassuring the students that it was nothing serious. Even after Mr. Kim's reassuring words, some students couldn't help but feel helpless.

["system initializing."]

These words were coming from the classroom but none of them said this world. The students heard these words in their heads. They were all looking among themselves in shock.

"Where is that coming from?" Akio said with curiosity in his eyes.

No one could provide an answer as they all kept looking around.

[world 23: 41: 71 accepted.]

[world synchronizing.]

"Synchronizing what?" a student said close to Akio.

Something bright appeared in the sky, hundreds of meters away, visible to all students through the window. It was rushing downward.

"Is that a bomb?" a student exclaimed as he moved backwards.

The mention of a "bomb" caused panic in Kenji's classroom. Upon hearing the words, some students dropped to the ground, covering their heads in fear of an explosion.

"It's not a bomb, Kenji," he thought. Remaining calm, he stood and watched with curiosity as the situation unfolded.

The blue light began to spread rapidly, and in an instant, it passed through the entire school.

" It seems to be scanning for something," Kenji thought, observing the blue light as it moved through the school.

[synchronizing complete. ] the unknown voice said again.

Immediately after that thought, a blue light screen appeared in front of each student, displaying the message:

"Congratulations! Your world has been accepted to participate in the game."

The message changed.

" welcome player."

"Is this a joke?" asked the student with a disbelieving smile, struggling to accept what was in front of him.

"I think I'm dreaming," a female student said, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

"I don't think so. Why would I be in your dreams?" Sara said arrogantly.

The female student felt hurt by Sara's response, her expression reflecting a mix of surprise and disappointment.

[commencing purging.]

"Purge," Ryu muttered, his tone filled with a sense of grim realization.

"That doesn't sound good," Jin said, crossing his arms as he stared at the screen.

Immediately, something else grabbed the students' attention. A massive, bright red light appeared hundreds of meters away from the centre of the city. Based on the numbers it wasn't just one, there were several, It expanded for miles before stopping, the middle slightly white, its edges a swirling mix of red, blue, and purple hues.

It wasn't even five minutes before a helicopter started flying around it.

Based on the chopper looks, a student in Kenji's class said...

"That might be a news chopper."

He immediately brought his phone outside,

After searching through his phone, he found a channel which is currently live.

'it's channel 9"

Immediately, he said it, Kenji, and a few students started searching their phones for the same channel, curious to get a better view of the huge light from where they were.

The middle-aged, good-looking man with a microphone began to speak.

"I'm close to the bright light. Due to what has been happening, I'm sure you all have witnessed the sudden changes. Might this be an attack from another country, naming a different country and developing theories to explain what is happening?"

As the man in the news continued to speak, Kenji's attention shifted to another smaller light beam located at Rose's high field, this one was quite different, its bright white colour was dull, and it was several times smaller than the larger one the other students were focused on. He also glanced at the small screen in front of him, which displayed a number. The countdown started from ten and gradually decreased, reaching three, two, and one.

[commence.]
