A Corpse as Blue as Lapis Lazuli - Chapter 17

Art Garden Hotel, April 7th, 7:15 AM

Don’t ask me how, but I pulled it off, despite the excitement I was sure this day was bound to bring, I was able to sleep like a rock. I could have even been a stone at the bottom of the fastest running river, stuck and unmoveable. That is how well I slept last night. How did you sleep? Wait? Why am I asking that? I keep forgetting that this story is one way, and you’d likely not reply to me. I would probably get a letter saying: ‘I didn’t sleep between ending chapter 16 and beginning chapter 17.’ Anyway, let me tell you that we now have another interview coming up with Liu Ming, the premier. He called us this morning, just as I was finishing my morning routine. I’d say that it looks like our day is off to a great start.

“I think we better be cautious going into interview Liu Ming again.” David forewarned.
