To Love A River

Love filled her legs with energy and forced her tired body to move at a near inhuman speed towards the alley that led to the back of Sakura.

As soon as she kicked off from the ground to leave Ezra behind, she caught a pale blur appearing at her side.

But before Ren could reach her, Ezra blocked his way, moving faster than Love could see.

She dived to the side as fast as she was able as the two vampires collided.

Ezra flew backwards several feet across the pavement and Love scrambled up, glancing back anxiously as she watched him land hard against the concrete, his elongated nails creating a sharp screeching sound as he dug them into the floor to find purchase.

Love scrambled back up to her feet and shot towards the alley again as Ezra let out a low hissing noise before his figure blurred out of view, aiming for Ren once more.
