Pathetic

Francine's eyes narrowed, her voice dripping with condescension. " I'm the principal's niece, and you're just a...'

Yuli slightly clapped her hands. "Oh, wow! The principal's niece. That's impressive. My father is a king."

Francine glared daggers at Yuli more "You think you're better than me?"

Yuli chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eye. "You always ask that, Francine. But let's be real, I am better than you. In fact, I'm a million times better. You're the principal's niece, and I'm a princess. There's no comparison."

The scene was attracting a crowd, with students gathering around, phones at the ready to capture the golden moment. Sophia, Emily, and Rachel stood back with folded arms, they wouldn't show it but their eyes glistened with excitement.

Francine had been nothing but a total bitch to them and it would feel a little satisfying to see someone put her in her place.

Rachel, never one to miss an opportunity for drama, whispered to Sophia, "This is going to be epic! Francine's finally met her match."

Sophia nodded, her eyes fixed on Yuli. "I know, right? Diana's not backing down."

"Let's spice things up"

Just then, Rachel hand shot out, and she grabbed Yuli's hair, pulling it hard. "You think you're so tough, don't you?"

Yuli's eyes flashed with anger, but she didn't react. Instead, she smiled sweetly at Rachel and spoke in a low undertone, "You have four seconds to get your filthy hands off me. One... two..."

Before Rachel could respond, Yuli had counted to four. With lightning-fast reflexes, she picked up Rachel's hand and removed it from her hair, as if she was picking up dirt.

She flung Rachel's hand off and folded her fist. In the next moment, a punch sound echoed, and Rachel held her hands to her jaw, already feeling blood in her mouth.

The crowd gasped in shock, phones still recording the drama unfolding before them. Francine's eyes widened in outrage, but Yuli just smiled, her eyes glinting with a hint of satisfaction.

The students were in absolute surprise as they witnessed the tables turning. They were accustomed to seeing Diana get bullied by Francine and her cohorts, and had grown desensitized to the sight. Many had even joined in, laughing and pointing at Diana, making a mockery of her.

But this scene unfolding before them was a totally different one. They were shocked to the core by Diana's confidence, her poise, and her assassin-like air. Her words were laced with an effortless command, an air of authority that didn't need to be asked for.

Francine's anger only intensified, fueled by the fact that Diana seem to no longer have any regard for her, even after she mentioned she was the principal's niece. The students held their collective breath, unsure of what would happen next.

Unbelievability painted Rachel's face as she realized she'd just been punched by Diana, the same girl she used to bully mercilessly. The throbbing pain in her jaw told her this wound wouldn't heal anytime soon.

The next minute, tears streamed down her face without warning. She felt the highest level of humiliation and indignation, ashamed to be shedding tears in front of Diana.

Yuli smiled, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "How pathetic," she said, her voice laced with sarcasm. "You're already crying? I expected more from you, Rachel. Some upgraded strategies, perhaps? But no, you crumble like a fragile doll. Look at yourself, tears streaming down your face like a child who's lost her favorite toy. You're not even a challenge."

Rachel's face burned with shame, her eyes welling up with more tears as Yuli's words cut deep.

Francine, unable to accept what was happening, and with Rachel looking at her for help, launched forward and made to slap Yuli. But before she could make contact, Yuli seized her hand mid-air.

With a swift motion, Yuli slapped Francine with her backhand, sending her stumbling backward. Francine's face contorted, her cheek bearing the bright red imprint of Yuli's hand.

The students gasped in even greater shock, their eyes fixed on Francine's humiliated face. Sophia and Emily retreated several feet, ready to flee at a moment's notice. They weren't about to risk getting into a fight that could ruin their faces.

Yuli moved forward, her expression cold and serious. "This will be the last time you cross paths with me, Francine," she warned, her voice dripping with menace. "You're a pathetic bully, and I won't hesitate to take you down again. Stay out of my way."

With that, Yuli pushed Francine aside and turned to leave. But just as she was about to walk away, someone blocked her path. She turned around, her eyes meeting those of Ryder, the notorious school bully.

Ryder stared intently at Yuli, trying to intimidate her with his towering height and fierce looks. But Yuli just glanced over at him with such indifference, boredom, and tiredness that she spat out a dismissive "Get out."

Ryder seemed taken aback, as if he couldn't believe she'd told him to leave. Diana actually dared to speak to him like that. He moved closer, trying to appear even more intimidating, his shoulders squared.

But Yuli couldn't be bothered to waste any more time. She wanted to go home, have something to eat, and forget about the drama. She looked at Ryder again, her expression unyielding. "Get out of my way," she repeated. "Don't make me say it a third time."

Ryder, however, remained rooted to the spot, his eyes flashing with a mixture of anger and curiosity. He seemed determined to test Yuli's limits, to see just how far she'd push back.

Ryder seemed determined to test Yuli's limits, to see just how far she'd push back. Yuli looked at him for a few seconds, unwilling to engage in another drama just yet.

She could see that she was already drawing a lot of attention, and she didn't want any bad records on her first day at a human school.

She stared at Ryder, made to push him slightly to the side, and pass, but he blocked her way again. "You're not leaving," he sneered, "not until I'm done with you."

This statement made Yuli's eyes narrow, and she turned to stare at him from the side, her expression icy. Then, she shook her head, smiled, and faced him.

Ryder's eyes flashed with anger, but Yuli's smile only grew wider. "Actually, yes," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You're right. We're not leaving. No one is leaving. But I'm the one who's going to be done with you, not the other way around."

Yuli's eyes sparkled with amusement, and she leaned in, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "And I'll make sure to do that without even lifting a finger."

Francine couldn't help but snort at Yuli's bold claim. "You sure are overestimating yourself, bitch. You think you can beat Ryder or what?" But Yuli just gave her a side glance, her eyes flashing with warning. "I'm sure you know better than to stick your nose into my affair, Francine."

Francine, having seen the dangerous look on Yuli's face, shut her mouth immediately.

Yuli turned back to Ryder, her gaze sweeping over him from head to toe. "You're Ryder, right?" Ryder nodded, his response immediate. "Yes."

Yuli's smile was a thin, mirthless line. "Yeah, it's you, Ryder. What's your surname?" Ryder's response was instantaneous, as if he was compelled to answer. "Miller."

Yuli's smile grew, her eyes glinting with amusement. "So, you're Ryder Miller. Interesting."

Ryder's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with confusion and annoyance. He seemed surprised by his own involuntary responses to Yuli's questions, as if some external force was compelling him to answer.

Yuli elegantly removed her black glasses, revealing her piercing sky-blue eyes. They shone brightly as she met Ryder's gaze, her stare intense and unyielding.
