Riser Phenex (3/4)

"So, this tennis game match is for what again? I feel like both of you are hiding secrets from me." I asked with a speechless look while looking at Sona and Rias who were getting ready to play.

"Don't worry about it Anos, just watch as I kick her sorry butt," Rias said with a smirk.

"Trying to show off to your boyfriend?" Akeno teased, causing Rias to blush as that was her goal.

"Don't be giving her special treatment because she is your girlfriend and all! Tsubaki you're ready!" Sona said calmly.

"Yes!" Tsubaki cried out,

"Alright, you 4 ready!" I called out from my high chair, I was going to overlook the match and to say the least, 4 of the school's top beauties gathering to one spot gathered a huge amount of students. At least a hundred students surrounded the place, many being perverts, while others were here to cheer for the idol.

Once the girls announced that they were ready, the match began, and I just watched everything without problems. They played to the fullest, each side pushing the others to their limit. Rias fought to show off before the person she loved, while Sona fought to defeat the person who held her future husband.

The match lasted a good hour until the racquets were destroyed, calling an end to the game... and it was a tie. Rias and Sona along with members of their two clubs stayed back at the school, long until it was night time to talk about their next move. I didn't stay, realizing if I wanted to take part it would start a fight between whose team I should join.

So, I returned home, where I bumped into Kuroka who was waiting for me. She grinned seeing me while also getting ready to fight, but I waved her off, too tired for such things.

"But I was getting stronger, I could feel it... I will be stronger than you soon." Kuroka said with bright eyes, to which I laughed at her words, which caused her to pout. She jumped towards me, throwing a fist at me thinking she had caught an opening.

But I held out my hand and flicked her forehead, sending her rocketing away at blinding speed. With that, I went on with my night, while Kuroka found herself in a lake, where she quickly got herself out as she didn't like water.

Covering herself from the cold, her eyes were blank as she held her forehead. A simple flick, it held great power not to damage, but to push. She couldn't resist as she was shot such a great distance as if she was nothing.

"He has been holding back?" She said her eyes in shock, for the past few days, she had been growing stronger, fighting against the man she was sure to be her future mate was good training. At the rate she was developing, she was sure she could one day be able to fight one of, if not the strongest devil himself. Sirzechs Lucifer. Rias elder brother.

Well, the night passed smoothly. Asia had moved in with us, and she got back home a bit late, which I didn't mind since I would know if she was in danger... well time passed.

Rias began acting weird well I knew she was stressed out about something, whatever it was pushed her to try and sleep with me, but in the end stopped herself followed by her bursting into tears. It bugged me really that she wasn't just coming out with whatever it was, but I was willing to wait until the time limit she gave to tell me everything... so I waited.

Within the Occult Research Club, the members of Rias Gremory's Peerage stood, with Grayfia at the side. They faced a magic circle that appeared, and from there a burst of flames came out, revealing a handsome blonde-haired man.

"I came to the human world to see you, my beloved Rias," He said with a cocky smile. Rias just looked at him with a come look, showing zero emotions. This man was Riser Phenex, her soon-to-be husband.

With an arrogant smirk, he walked over to Rias, wanting to take her into his arms. After hearing about the improvement in her strength, and her becoming an Ultimate Rank devil, the image of having such a powerful devil as his wife pumped his blood to no limit.

He reached out to touch her face, but Rias slapped his hand away, and this instantly annoyed Riser.

"As I said before, and let this be the final time, Riser I will not marry you," Rias said stepping away from him,

"Riser bears the reputation of the house of Phenex. Your family made this arrangement, I'm just following it... you will not sully my family name." Riser said while attempting to touch her again, but Rias dodged.

"My father, brother, and other members of my family were all in a rush making this arrangement. I never once or will ever see you as my future wife." Rias said coldly.

"Oh, does that honor go to Anos?" Riser asked causing a shock to spread across the room. Even Grayfia was stunned as she didn't expect Riser to know this information.

"You will become my wife... or else." Riser said his eyes glowing with power, while Rias' eyes glowed with killing intent.

"There would be none of that. My lady, Raiser-sama. as I am here on Sirzechs-sama's order, I do not intend to stand idly by." Grayfia said calmly, showing no hint of emotions but her words carried weight.

"When it's you, the mightiest queen saying that, even I'm scared." Riser said with a relaxed smile, no hint of fear anywhere to be seen.

"He predicted this might happen, As such, I have been charged to carry out last sort measures if no agreement is reached," Grayfia said calmly, confusing the two along with everyone's eyes.

"If you insist on your position, you're welcome to settle the issue, through a rating game," Grayfia said stunning the room for a moment before Riser burst out laughing.

"You expect me to accept such a thing knowing damn well she now has the strength of an Ultimate Devil?" Riser asked with a cold smirk, making Rias grit her teeth as she was bidding everything on this.

"I will only accept if the kings are not allowed to fight." Riser said with a cold smirk,

"he had also predicted such a thing would happen, so he asked for the two of you to come to an agreement," Grayfia said, to which Riser smirked at Rias who closed her eyes for some time.

"No Phenex tears and we have a deal," Rias said to which Riser shook his head.

"Oh, then I have to request something else as well. I only said that the kings can't take part, sounds fair right?" Riser asked with a grin, enraging Rias.

"... R-rias," Aisa said in a soft voice, drawing Rias' attention away from Riser. Asia gave Rias a hesitating look, and Rias was able to understand what she wanted to say... but she couldn't as she was about to speak, the door opened and I stepped in, Sona leading the way. I instantly drew everyone's attention.

"... Anos," Rias said in shock seeing me, I simply sighed while looking at everyone, mainly Asia and Rias.

"I guess the hints were there that you were all devils, I just ignored them," I said lightly while looking at Riser.

"I believe if you're going to marry my girlfriend, you should at least deal with me right?" I asked with a smirk. Riser's eyes glowed, but before he could do anything, Rias' aura pressed down upon him, forcing him to pause.

"Anos, I can handle this. you don't have to step into the supernatural world." Rias said while avoiding eye contact with me, but I waved her words off.

"I was going to do it anyways in like 2 weeks from now, don't mind stepping in early. It makes no difference... although we have to talk about those lies." I said with a shrug, to which Rias lowered her head in shame, all while Riser's face turned dark at this.

"I will take the place of Rias' team in fighting you in whatever rating game or what nonsense. I will make things fair, I will face you all without moving from the spot the game will start... that's the least I could do, after all, the Gremory household is at fault here." I said stunning the everyone

"You arrogant human... sure, I will accept." Riser said to which Rias quickly tried to step in to stop this, even Sona wasn't expecting me to make such a move. But I stopped them with my palm, not wanting to hear it. I was displeased enough they kept something like this hidden.

"Come tell me when this game would start... I'm missing work." I said while a cyan circle appeared under my feet, it wasn't a magic circle or anything like that. Just a circle that connected me to the location I wanted to go.

With that, I disappeared as soon as I arrived. Grayfia's eyes were wide as she had never seen such a high-level teleportation spell... she was sure no means to block, sense, or anything like that could affect that teleportation spell. It was just too complex.
