Frizz instantly pulled Yani into the men's restroom, standing very close, Yani looking upwards at him due to his towering height.
Frizz sighed, eyeing the system notification. (I wanted to talk to my brother, but an objective takes priority.) he reasoned.
(Though, why give one now? New objectives are rather sparse lately. Is she really that important?) He stared at her teary-eyed face, pondering.
"How'd you know?" Frizz asked, curious about how she knew.
"Remember the house that was burgled? That teacher's house?" Yani paused. "I saw you enter my neighborhood from the treehouse. I always stay up there late at night and stare at stars."
(So, that's how. I knew I saw a glint. Probably from some binoculars, I guess.) Frizz reasoned, finally deciding to help her. "Anyways, I'll help you."
"R-r-really? Just like that?" Yani stuttered, caught off guard by the instant agreement.
"Yes, just like that. Call it a hunch."
Yani smiled; the relief washing over her was palpable, as if a great weight had been lifted. She wiped away her tears. "Loan sharks are harassing my father and mother; we've already paid some of the amount, but the interest keeps increasing."
"Yeah, they tend to do that," Frizz bluntly added.
"Lately, they've been making some vulgar remarks about me." Yani flinched, crossing her arms. "They've said that it will cover a lot of our interest and debt if I were to join them, be some 'girl' for an establishment."
Frizz's brow raised, fully understanding the loan shark's proposition. Yani continued. "They've also emphasized that not only that, my parents could also earn some money too."
"I fear that my parents will consider it. I know they won't, but seeing them have a slight pause made me fear for my own life," Yani added, almost tearing up.
"That's why I want you to stop them; you've already agreed to it, and it's only fair that you'll be paid." Yani paused, thinking of a way to pay. "I can give you this month's salary—"
"No, no need. Trust me, cleaning this town is a goal of mine. I get stronger the more I use my powers; this is a good opportunity." Frizz smiled; not only did he get to level up, but he could also release some of his pent-up frustration.
(This time, I'll make sure to not be sloppy.) Frizz vowed. "Where are these loan sharks?"
Forty-two minutes later...
Frizz and Yani arrived, staring at the loan sharks' base of operations while hidden behind a busy food stall. (Tasty...) Yani thought, seeing a tempura, feeling peckish.
"Wear a hat; your mask isn't enough," he said, handing her a cap. Yani pulled on the hat, her heart pounding in her chest, unsure whether her situation would get better or worse after this.
"Next time, maybe don't borrow money from these sorts of people? No matter how desperate you are, never ever take their loans," Frizz advised, his tone firm.
Yani simply bowed her head, unable to articulate her family's desperation. (Easy to preach, hard to act), she thought bitterly.
Frizz clicked his tongue, growing impatient. (Fuck this surveillance man; I don't even know what I am looking for.)
"Yani, stay here, and I mean it. Stay here," Frizz ordered, recalling the previous time he brought Mina along. "Just stay put, and I promise I'll even give you some money."
Yani eagerly nodded, agreeing. "I wasn't even planning to come with you; who knows what they'll do?"
Frizz huffed and marched forward, approaching the door. "This is it." As he opened the door, he bumped into a young woman with tears streaming down her face. "Sorry," the woman mumbled, hurrying away.
Frizz entered the building and saw two men chuckling to themselves, not noticing him as he entered. "Hey, are you two loan sharks?"
The men turned toward the voice and were instantly seized by the throat. Frizz held them both by their necks, his grip tightening as they clawed at his arms to no avail. "You two are loan sharks, correct? Say it!"

The two men shivered, feeling uneasy about the man in front of them. "Yes, please let us go," one stammered.
Frizz kept his piercing gaze locked on them, ignoring their plea. "What did you do to that woman who just left earlier?" He asked, losing patience.
The man on the right glanced at the other. "He groped her as she left," he blurted out, easily confessing.
Frizz's anger flared at the answer. He threw the accused man against the wall, then stomped on his chest, knocking him unconscious.
Frizz released the other man and delivered a hard punch to his stomach, incapacitating him as well. He continued on his path, pulling two pipe wrenches from behind and heading towards the second floor, seeking the loan shark leader.
Frizz walked up to the second floor, spotting three men at the end of the hallway. "Hey! What are you doing here!?" one of them shouted, spotting him and quickly approaching. Frizz swung a pipe wrench, hitting the man in the face. The impact knocked him out cold, sending a tooth flying.
"Piece of shit!" "Fucking asshole!" The two men left shouted, brandishing their knives and charged. Frizz made the two pipe wrenches fly and spin, aiming directly at their legs. *Crack!* Their bones snapped.
"AUGH!" "FUCK!" The two wailed in pain as Frizz shuddered at the sight, cursing himself.
"Shit, what the fuck. It's that strong? I made sure to hold back." The two men wept, bone protruding out of their legs while blood pooled on the floor.
Frizz hurriedly approached the two and knocked them out by punching their heads. "Damn, I am sorry. I took it too far." He apologized, looking at the stairs leading to the second floor.
(A somewhat narrow hallway and a turn to the left with a yellow door at the end of it. Is that where the leader is?)
Frizz picked up the fallen pipe wrenches as another two men showed up, pistols pointed at him. "Stop!" Then another three armed men appeared, offering backup. "Stop now! Hands up! Damn it!"
Frizz smiled, maliciously complying and dropping the pipe wrenches, putting his hands up and sending a telekinetic push towards them. *Woosh!*
The five of them staggered, falling over from the push. Frizz charged forward, attracting the two pipe wrenches toward his hands. *Whack!* He was struck in the face with a baton, not noticing the person hiding in the left corner. (Huh, I thought I would subconsciously dodge attacks from now on?)
(Perk's still weak I guess?) Frizz nonchalantly grabbed the baton, wrenching it away from the attacker and punching his gut. "Piece of shit!" one of them cried, aiming a pistol at him.
"Disarm!" Frizz shouted, causing them to drop their pistol as he sent another telekinetic wave to disorient them. *Woosh!* The men trying to stand up fell again, unable to stand anymore as Frizz telekinetically pinned them down.
*Thwack!* *Thwack!* *Thwack!* *Thwack!* *Thwack!* Frizz approached and stomped their chests, ensuring they stay down and kicking away the pistols.
"Better stay down or else." Frizz threatened, continuing to stomp on each of them until they could only muster wheezes and groans.
The yellow door creaked open, and someone peered out from the inside. But the moment they saw Frizz standing above a pile of bodies, they slammed the door shut.
Frizz walked over the bodies, approaching the door, and kicked it open, sending the person behind it sprawling. "Shit! What the fuck do you want?" the person stammered, scrambling backward.
The man held out his hand, slowly crawling away as Frizz approached. He observed the man's appearance; unlike his henchmen, this one had proper formal clothing. Donning a gray suit and groomed hair, if it weren't for his terrified expression, he would appear dignified.
"You give loans to people, right?" Frizz stated. "Then give them unreasonable rates?" He paused, emphasizing the word 'unreasonable.'.
"It's just business, man. You want a loan? I can give you one, very forgiving and reasonable. I assure you," the loan shark offered, his smile failing to break.
Frizz kept his neutral expression behind the mask, his eyes piercing at the detestable loan shark in front of him. "Give me all your money, and I won't break your bones."
The loan shark hesitated, darting his eyes around. "Please, there's no money here. Most of it—" Frizz struck the loan shark's forearm, breaking it.
"AHH!" "Fuck!" The loan shark cried out, looking at his broken forearm. "Last chance to give me what I want."
"It's in the drawer, please. It's in the drawer; just stop." Frizz walked over to the desk, opening the drawer and spotting several bulging envelopes. "This will do."
Frizz grabbed the envelopes, counting nine of them. The loan shark watched as his desk was pilfered. "No..." he whispered, weakly protesting.
"How's it feel? To be on the receiving end?" Frizz expressed, looking at the weeping loan shark. "If I ever hear you doing this shit again, trust me, I will kill you."

The loan shark stared in horror, paralyzed by fear. The masked man radiated a terrifying aura. He had no doubt that the threat was a promise, not just a simple deterrent.
