EDWINA
"You sure about this, love?" Kieran asked. I didn't turn around from the mirror, my hands flying as they buttoned up the tiny, almost annoying buttons on my dress.
"Yes, Kieran. I am. You've asked this question like a million time," I responded, rolling by eyes.
He sighed and ran a hand down his face.
"I know. I'm sorry. It's just…I'm worried, you know. You don't have to get back to work. Just stay at home and chill."
I turned to face my husband, eyebrows raised.
"What exactly are you worried about, really?" I asked. He closed his eyes and opened them back after taking a deep breath, saying nothing.
"No, seriously. Kie. Why are you so worried about me going back to work? I don't see the big deal, to be honest."
"I know. It's not a big deal. I…you know what? I think I am just being fussy again. Let's not do that, yeah? Do you want me to drive you to work?" he asked, giving in.
