CIARA
I stared at the beach, the sheer beauty of the large expanse of water taking my breath away.
If I had made this trip on a normal day, right now, I would be at the edge of the water, having as much fun as possible.
But today was not like that. I stared instead, my thoughts far away. No matter how much I tried not to think, my mind kept going back to last night.
Noah had yelled at me like I had done something wrong, when all I wanted to do was to fix things for him. This time though, I noticed how he was breathing a little harder than usual. I saw the very unfamiliar and weird expression on his face as he took in the mess.
It was as though there was something else to the issue, something I had no idea about. But even at that, the least he could have done was told me. I needed an explanation, but all I got was a very harsh order to leave.
So I left.
