It’s been a busy first hour–time truly does fly when you’re having fun. And I am having fun. I wish I could spend more time with Madison, but I’m enjoying my interactions up and down the line of anxious fans waiting for her autograph.


I had no idea my two social media posts would spark so much interest. Lucky for me, the Cubs fans that arrive today also seem to truly be interested in Madison’s books, too. The only people here to see me and not the books are my teammates. I didn’t expect any of the guys to be up this early, let alone dress and come find me.


I’m sure one of them saw the post and called the others to wake them up. I can handle it. Let them save the picture and try to embarrass me with it in the future. I’m doing this for my girl. A successful signing and a happy Madison will make it worth their teasing in the future. I would not have posted the pic of me in the costume if I didn’t expect it to be seen.
