Chapter 11: Bulma Doesn't Have a Tail

The pterodactyl, struck by Son Goku's Power Pole, let out a pitiful cry and plummeted from the sky.

Bulma, who had been grasped in its claws, fell along with it, screaming in terror.

John Doe leaped into the air and caught Bulma before she hit the ground.

Although Bulma was now safe, the thought of nearly being eaten by a dinosaur left her legs trembling, and she could only sit on the ground.

John Doe asked with concern, "Bulma, are you alright? You're safe now!"

Bulma turned her head stiffly towards John Doe and suddenly burst into tears. "I couldn't hold it, and I wet myself!"

Well, that was understandable. It would be rare for anyone to not be scared enough to wet themselves in such a situation.

Given the danger Bulma had just faced and her emotional state, the trio decided to rest for the night in a nearby area and continue their journey the next day.

They found an ideal spot near a water source.

Bulma took out a capsule case from her backpack, retrieved a house capsule, and with a press, tossed it onto the open ground.

With a 'pop', a modern, round house appeared before them.

Son Goku was startled by this magical sight and immediately drew his Power Pole, pointing it at John Doe and Bulma. "I knew you two weren't monsters!" he shouted.

Bulma was speechless for a moment, muttering under her breath, "Country bumpkin!" Then, she said to John Doe, "John, you deal with him. I'm going to take a shower."

"Oh, and make me a delicious dinner. I want a steak," she added before pushing the door open and entering the house.

Before their departure, John Doe and Bulma had agreed that she would accompany him on his quest for the Dragon Balls, and he would cook meals along the way.

When Son Goku saw Bulma enter the house, he was shocked. "Ah, ah, ah! John, the monster ate Bulma!"

John Doe explained to Son Goku, "Goku, this is a capsule. It can transform into various things. The car we just rode in was also from a capsule."

John Doe pressed a button on the car, and with another 'pop', it shrank back into a capsule, startling Son Goku once more.

John Doe showed the capsule in his hand to Son Goku, who looked on curiously.

"This is incredible! How can such a big car become so small?" Son Goku exclaimed in wonder.

John Doe offered the capsule in his hand to Son Goku, encouraging him, "Do you want to try it?"

Son Goku was not one to be afraid. He took the capsule from John Doe, pressed the button on it, and threw it onto the ground, mimicking Bulma's action.

With a 'pop', the car reappeared.

Son Goku walked over to the car, pressed the button again, and the car transformed back into a small capsule. He picked up the capsule and returned it to John Doe, saying, "Now I believe you. You're not monsters."

Hearing Son Goku's innocent words, John Doe couldn't help but ruffle his hair, thinking to himself, "This is the future Universe's strongest warrior's head. I should take advantage of this opportunity to touch it while I can."

Then he said, "Let's go inside. I'll make you a steak."

The two of them entered the dome-shaped house.

Bulma went to take a shower, and John Doe turned on the TV for Son Goku with a remote control. "Goku, you can watch TV for now. You'll learn a lot about city life."

While Son Goku was engrossed in the TV, John Doe entered the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone.

By the time John Doe had finished preparing the meal and set the food on the table, Bulma had also finished her shower and emerged from the bathroom wearing a bathrobe and a face mask, startling Son Goku once more.

Fortunately, Son Goku recognized Bulma and didn't cry out about monsters, but he was curious why she had something on her face.

Son Goku approached Bulma, his curiosity piqued.

Bulma felt a shiver down her spine as Son Goku stared at her intently. She asked nervously, "Why are you staring at me like that?"

Son Goku said nothing but suddenly lifted Bulma's bathrobe, revealing her underwear.

Bulma was both furious and embarrassed. She slapped Son Goku on the head and yelled, "You pervert, you idiot! I'll kill you!"

Despite being knocked to the ground by Bulma, Son Goku didn't seem to mind. Instead, he exclaimed in surprise, "Bulma, you... you... you don't have a tail!"

Bulma, already angry, shouted even louder, "You fool! Humans don't have tails. If they did, they'd be monsters!"

"But I have a tail," Son Goku said, pointing at himself. To prove he wasn't lying, he pulled down his pants, revealing his tail.

Bulma was shocked beyond words. Her anger and embarrassment vanished, and she stared curiously at Son Goku's wiggling tail.

"How can a person have a tail growing out of their butt?" Bulma muttered to herself.

John Doe spoke up, "The world is full of wonders. Not only do some people have tails, but some even have eyes on their foreheads. You'll get used to it. Let's eat dinner."

Hearing John Doe's words, Bulma no longer felt it was strange and sat down at the table with Son Goku to enjoy the meal prepared by John Doe.

Unfortunately, John Doe had forgotten that Saiyans had huge appetites. The food he prepared was not enough for Son Goku, who finished the meal quickly and was still hungry.

John Doe had no choice but to go back into the kitchen and prepare more food. This time, he didn't cook elaborately but simply grilled the food for Son Goku.

Son Goku finally felt full after consuming a third of the food supplies meant for John Doe, Bulma, and himself.

John Doe sighed, "It seems we'll need to stock up on more food when we reach the next town."

After dinner was cleared away, Son Goku and John Doe took turns taking showers, and then they went to their rooms to sleep.

At this moment, Pilaf's two henchmen, under his command, were flying towards John Doe and the others to steal the three Dragon Balls in their possession.
