Family Reunion

"Welp, it's about time we get this started." Frost said to himself as he twirled a small blade between his fingers.

He was currently laying down with his leg resting on his knee, on the second from the top step beneath the throne.

"Sir, your first few guests have arrived." A man said as he entered the great hall he bore no armor nor weapons but instead wore the signature clothing their clan wore.

He wore black pants and a black short sleave t-shirt for mobility, he also wore a skull mask that only covered the lower part of his face resembling a dragon. Had chosen not to wear the jacket seeing as it was already hot outside and his ability didn't have a cooling effect.

Although the outfit seemed plain and simple it was highly resistant to abilities as well as weapons. It's resistance depended on the person who wore it and their class rank.

The man decided it was probably best to wear his mask seeing as he would be the one guiding the guests as well as tending to their needs along with one other person.

Being a highly respected squad captain he was trusted with this duty and to keep up appearances.

"Thank you Cass, you don't mind me coming with you, do you.? I'm quite bored and I'm afraid laying here might've made me a bit stiff." Frost said as he sat up, making the knife dissappear.

"Of course not, your company is always welcome Frost. I would want nothing more." Caster said as he bowed slightly with his arm stretched out toward the door, inviting him along.

Caster had a medium build, his hair was short and black and he had brown eyes. The young man usually held no weapons but would use gauntlets in dire situations.

Being an enhancement type he often lead the charge when with his squad as well as worked close with Frost when he would join them. His ability not only enhanced his own body it enhanced other who faught with him, and even more so when boosted by Frost.

Frost smiled at him as he stood up and walked beside him. They walked side by side showing that there was a mutual respect between the two.

"So who might I ask has arrived, and fifteen minutes early at that?" Frost asked as they passed some of the others in the hall.

"Do you even have to ask, Dre isn't one to be late and he chose only one person as his guest, his sister ." Cass said as he opened the door leading outside.

"Ah, as to be expected. That man, is always quite punctual." Frost said chuckling to himself.

"Wish you were the same sometimes." Cass said with a smirk.

"Not even in my dreams, sadly." They looked at eachother for a second then burst out laughing at this remark.

As they walked down the steps leading to the porch they could see Dre and Alessia being greeted and escorted through the gates.

Frost waved at them, and in turn Dre gave a smile and waved back. As soon as Alessia saw him her eyes lit up, Cass seeing this stepped to the side.

"Frosty!" She yelled as she ran towards him with open arms and a big smile, Dre just looked down and shook his head still holding his smile.

Frost opened his arms as she drew nearer, but as soon as she was a meter away she shifted twisting her body and throwing a fist instead.

Frost smiled as he swiped her hand away, she then readjusted changing her stance and threw out a kick instead. Frost changing his stance readied his fist charging up a strike of his own.

As she spun her energy surged to her leg, Frost stood unfazed as her back heel connected with the side of his neck sending a shockwave out.

"Thanks for that Lessie, and here's your change." Saying this Frost ducked under her leg, pulled back and struck her in the stomach sending her flying back with blood spilling from her mouth.

She was hit so hard the energy was visibly seen leaving her body as the strike connected.

Dre put his hand up catching her, barely moving from his position. She remained unconscious for a few seconds before her eyes burst open with life.

A huge wave of energy pulsed from her body, and it instantly began to heal. Her eyes shown brightly for a moment before turning back to normal. This caused some in the area to stop what they were doing to see what was happening.

She spit out blood before being handed a bottle of water by someone nearby, rinsing her mouth out she spit the rest then smiled thanking the person.

She then smiled walking over and hugging Frost, who hugged her back patting her on the head.

"Thank you, that's why I like you and Soul. You guys enjoy fighting as well and don't mind having a decent fight with me." She said as she took a step back to look at him.

"Of course, wouldn't want you to fall behind now would we." He said as he looked past her at Dre, whom just looked away smirking.

"Gotta say that was a good one, I feel a lot stronger and that's just from one hit. Man we've really got to have a go one of these days." She said rubbing her stomach.

"Don't worry Lessie, there will be plenty of chances for you to get stronger on our little trip, I doubt we'll be welcomed with open arms anyway." He said as they walked back to meet Dre.

"It's been a while, you don't visit as often anymore." Frost said reaching his had out.

"Ah well you know how it is, things to do places to be. Don't worry though I hadn't forgotten about you." He said accepting the handshake then pulling in for a hug.

"So what's on the agenda today Frostyboy?" Dre said as they let go, and he patted him on his shoulders.

"First pleasantries, hang out have some food, and talk. Then we get to business, as you know I have the location of the key. Now we only need to retrieve it and head to the divine realm." Frost said with a smile on his face.

"You know you and I won't be welcomed with open arms like the others." Dre said holding his smile but his tone was serious.

"Don't worry, that's another reason I wanted to meet with you. They can't sense us here but they will be able to once there, but I have a plan which we'll discuss later." Frost said as he noticed something coming from behind Dre.

Dre nodded then sidestepped to his left, while Frost bent backwards looking up at the sky. But instead of the blue of the beautiful sky and white of the clouds he instead saw a dark ashen crescent slash flying past him.

Out of the attack Soul appeared with a malicious smile on his face, smiling back, Frost repositioned himself catching the blade of the sword that was swung at him.

Ignoring the blood dripping down his hand Frost gripped the sword shattering it, then he swung sending out a punch full of energy which was met with a punch from Soul.

"ONI KI-" Soul yelled but before he could finish Frost grabbed his wrist and yanked him out of the air slamming him onto the ground knocking the wind out of him.

Dark chains wrapped around Soul's arms legs and neck choking him and holding him down tightly. Frost then knelt down placing his fingers by his neck, a large amount of energy gathered around them and began to condense.

Pushing his fingers against his neck a small amount of blood began to seep out, Soul tried to dissipate into his ash form but something was blocking it.

"I win." Frost said pushing deeper, drawing more blood.

"Fine, I give up." Soul said reluctantly and breathing heavily and rubbing his neck.

Frost then canceled everything and helped him up. They instantly hugged and greeted one another as if nothing happened.

Seeing as everything had concluded Jayden thought it would now be good to head on over. He headed over apologizing for Soul's sudden actions but was reasured that it was fine.

Following behind him Sarah was amazed at the turn up and the fact she had the pleasure of sitting in on an important meeting.

She doubted her own capabilities seeing as she had gone from a normal doctor to someone who was invited to personally fight by the kings side. She was still a bit shy being so new to everything.

In the midst of everyone talking a portal opened up behind them near the entrance. Through three people stepped out, one looked ahead at the others smiling while the others looked around their surroundings.

"Well would you look at that, we're the last to arrive." Vash's eyes glowed as the portal closed behind him.
