I haven’t read the latest chapter yet so I may be wrong, but giving Zack only Cyclops’ optic beams is such a disappointment. You took a child of Jean Grey and Scott Summers-a combination that ALWAYS produces extremely powerful mutants, (some with enough power to warp reality)- and you reduced him to a knockoff Superman without the strength or the flight or other powers.
