I was grateful that Aqua suggested we go somewhere. I definitely didn’t want to go back into my house. I might end up saying something to my dad that I would regret later on. 


I would forever be haunted by the fear in Aqua’s eyes when my dad glared at her. He had no right to do that. He should be mad at me if anything. I was the one who snuck a girl into the house. Even if we weren’t doing anything, I couldn’t deny that I hadn’t wanted my parents to know that I was having Aqua over.


Still, I didn’t think that my dad would react that way to her.
