*Note: like you will see in the next chapters, I decided not to do the same thing as in the books nor the film, it's similar, yes, but not the same. I did this because I didn't want to recreate at 100% the books.
In future chapters, you'll be able to see this very often, obviously I will follow the story but a little bit different so it will be more enjoyable.
And don't forget to suscribe to my patreon if you want to read more chapters.

Have a good day :)
...
Carefully, we made our way to the beach as the sounds of bombs and screams echoed throughout Cairnholm and the fire burned fiercely in the distance.
"Is this what happened after the Germans troops invaded Cairnholm?" - asked Millard.
"They didn't invade it, they just destroyed the place with their bombs" - Hugh said.
"The destruction they caused is certainly terrible" - I nodded.
The truth is that I was never passionate about history, but even I knew perfectly well about the son of a bitch who led the German troops at that time, a person so cruel that I will not even name him because everyone knows his name; even the most uneducated know him.
Anyway, the destruction was total, because even from a distance, you could hear the screams of the residents of Cairnholm who did not know what was happening or because suddenly, their homes had been destroyed by the bombs.
A short time later, we arrived at the beach, however, as we expected, there was no one there.
"Great, there's no one, they must have sailed by now: What are we supposed to do now?" – Enoch asked.
Suddenly, a feeling of freshness filled my body and I was able to access part of my memories. I finally remember something more about the story and I know perfectly where they can be, in the movie it was completely different and not worth mentioning, while in the books, if I remember correctly, their boat left from the lighthouse, a perfect place to be able to see without bumping into anything.
"The whole place is very dark: Can you think of a place where it can be more illuminated?" – I asked.
"The lighthouse!" – said Olive.
With Jacob's question, it was as if he had suddenly understood where they could be.
"Yes! They must be there!" – Emma nodded.
"Fools, the wights can see in the dark, they don't need light to light themselves" – said Enoch.
Hmm, that's another flaw in the first book, because later on it's revealed that wights can see in the dark, so why would they set sail from the lighthouse if they can see in the dark? However, I don't know if the author did it on purpose, but that could be perfectly explained.
"Do you think they can go out from the beach? They will clearly have a pretty big ship and I deeply doubt they can dock anywhere other than at the lighthouse" - Horace said.
"In the present there is a small harbor: Isn't there anything like it here?" – I asked again.
"No, but the lighthouse is the only place where a ship could dock, unless it is a small boat; in that case they could dock here" – Horace said.
"It is foolish to think that they brought a small boat; come on, there's no time to lose" – Emma said.
We all nodded and headed straight for the lighthouse, I didn't know where it was and even if it had been mentioned in the books... I can't remember even the smallest detail. There are things that I do remember and there are things that I don't and the location of the lighthouse is not one of them, however, the others know them and that is what matters.
In a short time, we reached where it was the lighthouse.
"This way or they will see us!" – exclaimed Olive.
We quickly hid behind some large rocks and watched our destination.
Indeed, there was a huge lighthouse that perfectly illuminated the whole place, revealing a huge ship, but it was not made of wood, it was more... modern as it were, as if it had been brought to this year from the present, but it cannot be: true?
"It's huge" – Fiona said surprised.
"Very huge" - Claire nodded.
"I have never seen a ship of such characteristics" - said Horace.
For the moment I will not mention that they resemble those of the present, because if I do, I could spread unnecessary panic in this situation.
"It doesn't matter what the boat is like, what we have to do is get on it" – Emma said.
"How do you expect us to do it? If we peek out, even a little bit, we'll probably be shot" - Enoch said.
On top of the ship, several armed men could be seen looking around; as if they were looking for something or someone.
"It's Golan, he knew we would come to rescue Miss Peregrine and he put those men to guard the place. I guess they'll start shooting when they see the slightest movement" – I nodded.
Of course, Golan knew we were coming, because we would not let Miss Peregrine be taken away without fight, so he took action and put several men to guard the place.
"Leave it to me, since I'm invisible, I can go through the water and surprise them with a surprise attack" - Millard said.
"You're not invisible in the water, they wil be able to see a hole" – Claire said.
"That's right, this time your invisibility is not of much help" – Emma said.
"What do we do then?" - asked Enoch.
None of them seemed to know what to do and I don't remember what happened in the original story, so there's only one thing we can do.
"I'll go" - I said.
"What? No way!" – the girls said suddenly.
They all seemed to agree to say those words at the same time.
"Listen to me, believe me when I tell you that bullets don't affect me, so I can get close to them without being killed by bullets" – I said.
I have no choice but to reveal some of my peculiarities.
"What? Are you serious?" – Millard asked surprised.
"That's right, it's another of my peculiarities" – I nodded.
"And how do you know you have that peculiarity? I mean, you've never been shot" - Emma said.
They didn't seem to believe me, but there was no time for explanations either.
"Listen, I may never have been shot, but I know I'm immune to bullets, it's like something inside me told me" - I said.
"And are you going to listen to what your inner voice tells you? It's utter stupidity!" – Enoch exclaimed.
"You have to believe in me" – I said.
They all looked at me, and after a couple of minutes, Emma and Olive nodded.
"I believe in Jacob and I think we should let him do what he says" - Emma said.
"That's right, if he says he's immune to bullets, it's because he is" - Olive nodded.
"… Okay, let's assume it's true and Jacob is immune to bullets: How are we going to get on that ship?" – Horace asked.
It's true, that's another problem, I don't remember very well what happened in the original story, but...
"From the cliff. Do you see that place over there? If we go stealthily, we should be able to get there without being seen and Jacob wouldn't have to be shot by the wights" - Olive said.
We all looked in the direction where she was aiming and it was true, the huge ship was attached to the cliff and at the top of it, where the lighthouse was placed, if one jumped hard enough, one could enter the ship without being detected, the question is: Why is there no one watching that area? I don't know, but it's not the time to think about it.
"Well, let's go" – Emma nodded.
None seemed to have a better idea and honestly, that idea was better than mine of going and being shot by the wights as I moved forward. Seriously, how did I come up with that stupid idea? While it is true that we could enter the ship, it would alarm all the wights on it and surely Golan himself, which would not give us time to rescue Miss Peregrine; It was the stupidest plan I had ever thought of.
[The truth is that it was a stupid plan, however, you weren't thinking correctly either because you are in a complicated situation and you are running out of time, it was a plan born of desperation, so it doesn't mind]
Thank you.
However, and stealthily, we climbed the rocks and began to walk slowly and without making any noise, no one was speaking, everyone was in complete silence as we followed Olive. I, for my part, was looking to the left all the time, mainly to check if we could be seen or not, luckily, not only was that place dark, but it was also beginning to form a fog that was becoming denser and denser, so it was impossible for those wights to see us even if they had the ability to see in the dark.
We continue walking until we reach the highest point of the cliff.
"We must jump this way" – said Olive.
"This... this is wider than I thought, I don't know if I'll be able to jump it" – Horace said.
"If you didn't wear a suit, you could do it. Who would think of wearing a suit on a mission like this? You should have wore confortable clothes" - Hugh said.
"And to risk going like this ... scruffy? No, thank you, I prefer my suit" – Horace said.
"Then you have no choice but to jump" – Hugh said.
"Guys, I think you should leave that conversation for when we're not in a situation like this" – I said.
We didn't know when the ship would set sail, so we needed to jump in now.
"Jacob is right, come on, let's jump" – Emma said.
We all went in order, first it was Emma, then Olive, followed by me, Claire, the twins, Bronwyn, Millard, Hugh, Enoch and finally Horace, who couldn't seem to make up his mind to jump.
"Jump right now!" – Hugh said.
"I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I'm quite afraid of heights and being on a cliff doesn't exactly help me" - Horace said.
"Horace, seriously, we don't have time, gather all your courage and jump" – I said.
Time is of the essence, and we can't wait for Horace to overcome his fears.
"It's okay. You're right, I'll jump" – Horace nodded.
Summoning all his courage, Horace jumped out and barely made it to the ship.
"I did!" – Horace said.
"If Bronwyn hadn't helped you, you would have fallen on your back" – Enoch said.
Horace, who was offended by such a comment, wanted to reproach Enoch, but suddenly, the ship began to emit a loud noise or rather... she was a siren.
"The ship has started moving!" – Claire exclaimed.
