Chapter 146 – Future Timeline: Another Story?

At Capsule Corporation, a swirling vortex of energy tore through the fabric of space. From within, Kahn and Zalama stepped out, their expressions calm yet focused.

As soon as they arrived, Vados, Bulma, and the others rushed to meet them.

"What happened?" Kahn asked immediately.

"Look over there, husband!" Bulma pointed toward the sky, where a massive rift had split open, spanning most of the horizon. Violent purple lightning crackled along its edges, filling the air with an ominous presence.

An overwhelming malicious aura emanated from the rift, spreading across West City, throwing its people into chaos.

Zalama's brows furrowed. "This isn't just an ordinary space-time anomaly… whatever's happening in the future timeline is affecting the present."

Vados nodded. "I had the same thought, but since time travel is strictly forbidden, I can't investigate the future myself. That's why I called you back, husband."

"Could it be another enemy in the future?"Android 18 asked, feeling uneasy from the malevolent energy.

Kahn narrowed his eyes. "No... this isn't just any enemy. Someone from our timeline has traveled to the future and caused this mess."

Everyone's expressions darkened.

"Someone from our timeline?" Vados asked.

Kahn sighed. "If I had to guess… it's probably that Supreme Kai apprentice from Universe 10—Zamasu."

Vados immediately checked with her Angel staff and confirmed it. "There is an intern Supreme Kai named Zamasu in Universe 10!"

Android 18 clenched her fists. "What the hell did this Zamasu do in the future to cause this?"

Kahn shook his head. "I could explain, but it's faster if I go there myself and deal with it."

Zalama stepped forward. "Do you want me to come with you?"

Kahn waved his hand. "No need. This won't take long."

With a flick of his wrist, Kahn summoned the Grand Gods of Destruction Staff and created a glowing time portal leading to the future.

"I'll be back soon."

"Good luck, Dad! Beat the bad guys!" Rados cheered.

Kahn gave a small smile before stepping through the portal.

Emerging from the time vortex, Kahn found himself standing in the ruins of West City.

The sky was dark and suffocating, the air filled with the remnants of destruction. The once-vibrant city was nothing but a graveyard of shattered buildings and burning wreckage.

Kahn observed the desolation. "So, this is the future West City… and if I'm right, this should be the future Capsule Corporation."

Despite the devastation, Kahn could still sense faint life signatures throughout the city—evidence that some humans had survived.

But one energy signature stood out.

Underneath the rubble of Capsule Corporation, Kahn could sense a familiar presence.

"Future Bulma… she's alive."

Wasting no time, Kahn descended toward the ruins. He soon discovered a hidden entrance leading underground. Layers of high-tech energy shields protected the entrance, but they were meaningless against him. With a simple wave of his hand, Kahn stepped through them effortlessly.

The moment he entered the dimly lit underground shelter, a voice rang out—filled with both fear and determination.

"Who's there?! Stop right now!"

A figure stood at the bottom of the stairs, aiming a laser gun directly at him.

Future Bulma.

Even after decades, she still retained much of her youthful appearance, though stress and hardship had taken their toll. Her once bright eyes were now shadowed with exhaustion and constant worry.

The terror in her expression was unmistakable.

But when her gaze locked onto Kahn's face, her body stiffened.

Her hand trembled, and the gun almost slipped from her grasp.

She stared at him, unable to believe what she was seeing.

"You… It can't be… Kahn?!"

Kahn gave a small nod. "It's me."

The laser gun clattered to the ground as Future Bulma rushed forward, throwing herself into Kahn's arms.

Her body trembled—not from fear, but from overwhelming relief and disbelief.

"Kahn… where have you been all these years?!" Her voice cracked, holding a mixture of resentment and deep, buried affection.

Kahn didn't reply immediately. He simply held her, allowing her to cling onto him.

Because in this moment, she needed him more than anything.
