Underground Laboratory
Kahn and Bulma sat face to face, quietly listening as Bulma recounted the events of the future timeline.
"So, I never came back?" Kahn sighed deeply.
From Bulma's account, after their return from Namek, she, Gohan, and Krillin had been sent back to Earth by Vados after their spaceship crashed into a meteorite. But Kahn… he never returned.
He didn't come back to Earth, nor did he go to Beerus' planet.
He simply vanished.
To make things worse, the Vados of this timeline had also fallen into a deep slumber.
Even though Bulma knew there was little chance of Kahn ever returning, she never gave up on their promise. She waited—waited for over thirty years, hoping that one day, he would return to marry her.
And now, that moment had finally arrived.
"these years have been hard on you," Kahn whispered as he pulled Bulma into his arms.
A woman who had waited for him for more than three decades… how could he not feel heartache for her?
Bulma had been his first love in this world.
"I'm fine," Bulma murmured. "Seeing you again is already the greatest wish of my life. Now that it has come true, I can die without regrets."
Hearing that, Kahn's embrace tightened.
She had suffered too much, endured loneliness and despair, yet had clung to hope all these years.
After holding her for a long time, Bulma finally spoke again, "Kahn, are you here for Zamasu?"
Kahn nodded. "Yes. But now that I see you're alive, I'm relieved. From now on, no one will ever bully you again."
In the original timeline, Bulma survived thanks to Future Trunks' protection.
But in this altered future, there was no Trunks—Zamasu had already annihilated all of Earth's defenders, including Goku and Vegeta.
Yet somehow, Bulma had survived.
That, in itself, was a miracle.
"I believe you," Bulma said, a soft smile forming on her lips.
For her, Kahn had always been someone she could rely on unconditionally.
Even if the entire world had fallen into ruin, as long as he was here, she knew things would change.
Then—
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Suddenly, a series of violent explosions shook the underground lab. The entire structure trembled, on the verge of collapse.
Kahn immediately created a protective barrier, shielding Bulma from any harm.
Bulma's face grew tense. "It's Zamasu!"
For a long time, Zamasu had been bombing what remained of West City, trying to wipe out any humans hiding in the ruins.
Bulma was one of his primary targets.
But he had never been able to find her.
"I was going to find him anyway. But it looks like he's come straight to me instead."
A cold glint flashed in Kahn's eyes. His overwhelming killing intent surged.
"Kahn, be careful! Zamasu is strong!" Bulma warned, gripping his hand tightly.
She believed in Kahn's strength, but Zamasu had wiped out all the Earth's Z Fighters. Caution was necessary.
Kahn, however, merely smiled. "He's just a little god from Universe 10. Don't worry."
Bulma hesitated, but then nodded and followed Kahn outside.
If Kahn fell, she had no reason to keep living in this ruined world.
On the Surface
High above the ruins of West City, Goku Black—Zamasu in Goku's stolen body—hovered ominously, unleashing waves of energy blasts at the remains of the city.
"Filthy mortals! Stop hiding like rats and come out!"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The explosions continued, reducing what was left of the city to nothing but rubble and dust.
Then—
"Little god of Universe 10, your time is up."
A deep, commanding voice echoed across the battlefield.
Goku Black froze mid-attack.
Slowly, he turned his head—and his expression darkened.
There, standing in the ruins of Capsule Corporation, was a towering figure.
Clad in the regal purple-and-gold attire of a God of Destruction, his powerful frame radiated absolute dominance.
His sharp, commanding gaze sent chills down Goku Black's spine.
A suffocating, divine pressure filled the air.
"Oh?" Goku Black narrowed his eyes, staring at Kahn.
"You… you're Kakarot's older brother, Kahn?"
Thanks to Goku's stolen body, Zamasu had inherited some of his memories—memories that contained Kahn's image.
But in those memories, Kahn had been dead for over thirty years.
And yet, here he was.
Alive.
Smiling coldly.
Goku Black's lips curled into a smirk. "Hah, this is perfect! I was wondering where you were, and now you—"
His gaze shifted to Bulma.
"Bulma… I thought you'd stay hiding in the shadows forever like a rat."
Bulma clenched her fists, hatred burning in her eyes. "You bastard!"
This monster had wiped out her family. Her parents, her sister—everyone.
And now, she finally had the chance to see him fall.
Kahn didn't waste words. He merely lifted a hand and beckoned.
"Come," he said, his voice laced with mockery. "Show me how strong you think you are."
Goku Black's expression twisted into a sneer. "Killing you will be easy."
Then—
WHOOSH!
In an instant, Goku Black shot forward, moving faster than the eye could track.
A blinding arc of pink energy slashed toward Kahn's throat.
And then—
SPLURT!
Time seemed to stop.
Goku Black froze mid-attack.
He looked down.
His chest—pierced clean through.
A gaping, bloody hole was where his heart should have been.
His eyes widened in utter shock.
Impossible.
Kahn… had moved before he could even register it.
"H-How…?"
Goku Black struggled to speak, his voice weak.
Kahn gazed down at him with indifference.
"A little god from Universe 10… that's all you are."
His voice was calm, yet carried the weight of absolute judgment.
"No matter whose body you steal, no matter how much you defile Kakarot's name… you are still nothing more than a petty, insignificant god."
Kahn's grip tightened.
"You've killed enough."
"Now, it's your turn."
With a flick of his wrist—
BOOM!
A terrifying shockwave erupted as Kahn blasted Goku Black into oblivion.
His screams were swallowed by the explosion.
Bulma watched in awe.
The nightmare was over.
And Kahn… was here to stay.
